Pet Buffs/Debuffs
|
@ Dostoevsky: Cat is the Hunters' favorite pet because of providing their primary stat, but it's also the most regular buff and can be granted by many other classes as well, yet you should always have it for soloing.
I recommend you to always carry a Cat, Wolf (for crit buff which is next to Agility in DPS increase) and a Bear for soloing hard-hitting Elites and such... Keep the other two slots empty in case if you found a Rare and good looking pet on the way to tame :D |

@ Laynah: Just take any Ferocity pet you like in that case when every buff is provided mate, you should be actually happy about that because you will surely need to have 3 Ferocity pets on bosses like Spine of Deathwing Heroic so you can change them and have your Call of the Wild ready each time you pull the armor up. The best time to do so is when you kill a Corruption to get a new Hideous Amalgamation.

Anyway, although I'm already well aware of pet abilities, yet this is a very nice, complete and useful guide, good job there ;)

Does the Wind Serpent 8% Magic Damage Taken debuff affect hunters? Some say no some say yes.
SV Hunters deal Elemental Physical Damage, however, Elemental Damage is Magic Damage.. |

Maybe I'm blind, but my pet has an ability that's not listed (similar one is). It's a Goat and it has the following spell:
Trample: Your goat tramples the enemy, kicking up an obscuring cloud of dust, causing all enemies within 10 yards to have their spell cast speed increased by 50% (25% on player targets) for 30 sec. (10 sec cooldown) |
