Mere days until lift-off. Are you ready?

Just a few days now until we board the Hyperion (http://eu.starcraft2.com/features/gameplay/hyperion.xml. Until we meet Dr. Ariel Hanson (http://eu.media.blizzard.com/starcraft2/dominion/unlockables/dr-hanson.jpg). Until we experience the exhilaration of a Zerg rush and encounter an infinite number of gg’s. Just a few days until you must construct additional pylons. In just a few days we will all get to cause some terrible, terrible damage.

We realise that this is a World of Warcraft support forum, but we wanted to dedicate this week’s Spotlight post to the [EPIC] gaming experience that is almost upon us; StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. It’s time to prepare ourselves for war and reacquaint ourselves with the glory of the rich StarCraft Universe. The pandas here will not be assisting you with StarCraft II, but we thought we would take a moment to give you a few helpful pointers in case you have any issues on launch day.

Additionally, there will be helpful support links within the game itself.

Here are a few other support related issues to bear in mind;

• If you participated in the beta, it would be advisable to completely uninstall the beta client before installing the retail game.
• Digital copies of the game will be available at 10:00 CEST in Europe and Russia on the 27th.
• If you intend to purchase StarCraft II digitally, you can begin downloading the client in preparation by visiting;

• If you click on ‘SKIP’ instead of ‘ACTIVATE’ when purchasing the game digitally, there is no need to panic. There is a link on the digital purchase page that you can click to activate the product correctly.
• If you have an Authenticator currently linked to your Battle.net account, it will also function in StarCraft II in the same way as your World of Warcraft accounts.
