Tradeforwarder: simple add-on that reroute the trade channel into your chat from anyone using the add-on, so you can be anywhere and see the trade channel.

the LFG / trade channel is not worldwide, it can only be joined while you are in cities.

You can never get infos while out gathering or in dungeons. The serious inconvenience leads to the idea of this add on.

Forwarder only works when at least two players of the same realm and same side installed it.

been using it for some time, we need more users on both sides alliance and horde.

can be turned on off on demand

/tfw Temporarily stop showing the forwarded tfw messages. You can press a modified key and click the Look for Dungeon button on main action bar to switch show/hide state.
/tfw list A shortcut to see the player list who are in the hidden channel. ( who has installed tfwForwarder)
/tfw <message..> Send the message to players who installed tfwForwarder

You can config the color and to which Chat Frame that the forwarded message will be shown , by modifying the "tcForwarder2llll" channel setting in chat frames' settings page.

there is fubar and databroker plugins that support on/off toggle of it.

its been reported that it can suddenly stop working where you don't even see trade even with players in city running the add-on.

fix is simple:

locate world of warcraft diroctory :\WTF\Account\account name\SavedVariables\TradeForwarder.lua

and delete it.

log in and it works again

seems like a cool addon tbh, maybe something interesting for Cata, with all those materials and such being sold in trade while you're hacking away at new content

Very useful, sadly you can't chat in trade through it. But to hear who needs what and where is good enough for such a lightweight addon.

I'm guessing you would be liable (as in getting banned) for anything that you forward which goes against the EULA?
Does it block gold seller spam for instance? I heard of TradeForwarder when downloading BadBoy (spam blocking addon) where the author said he would never ever support it.

Just some questions that came to mind. I like the idea though.

sorry to say its nothing fancy like BadBoy but you can temporary turn it off if the goldseller spam get to much and it do self turn off when in instance group or raid.

and its not against the Eula to make new chat channel and dirvert some text to it as far as i know

No, that's not what I meant. But if someone says some racist slur in trade, and you forward it, you actually said it. Meaning someone can report you and you will be the one getting the ban.

this addon still works, and for those trolls out there that reported me for announcing this add in trade, dont bother friendly gm told me this add-on conforms with the current add-on policy's.
