[OOC] The Sha'tar's RP Channels

You! Stranger! Do you know about the in-game chat channels that our heroic realmites use to communicate with each other? No? Then this, wanderer, is your lucky day!
I'll be adding, amending, and editing this thread when appropriate (and please inform me of any changes or inaccuracies) but here begins the definitive list of IC and OOC chat channels used to RP while levelling or to find out about realm happenings and events. Main Chat Channels For Alliance /LFRP: The realm-wide IC chat channel, open for everyone. /LFRPOOC: The realm-wide OOC chat channel, open to, you guessed it, everyone. Additional Channels for Alliance /RPAdvice: The channel to go to when you need advice with RP matters, whether it be queries on lore or ideas for characters and storylines. /Union: Used to network guild leaders and event hosts. This OOC channel can be used to advertise and refine ideas. /RPEvents: Seem as Union, but for everyone. /EvilRP: The go-to channel for those interested in evil-based roleplay. Main Chat Channels for Horde /HordeRP: The most frequented IC chat channel. /rollingHillsOOC: The most frequented OOC chat channel; once used as the OOC nexus of the Rolling Hills Coalition, now open for all. The majority of IC channels are explained as being buzzbox channels, similar to CB radios, but in HordeRP at least any form of device - sometimes mechanical, sometimes magical - is encouraged. I'll add more when people inform me of more! |

I would add RPadvice thats a very active Alliance OOC RP channel.

The Alliance also have the following:
Union Union is an OOC channel dedicated to helping Guild leaders, and event hosts. Here, you can discuss ideas for holding events, and/or get some advertising done. RPEvents Same thing as Union, but is open to everyone, rather than just hosts and leaders. EvilRP An OOC channel used to talk about anything and everything that's evil. |

I remember there was a channel about old TBC raids etc. Via this channel people could arrange some raids through Sunwell Plateau or someplace else. Don`t remember the name so it would be grand if somebody could add it here.

Not sure what the name of that channel is, Mic, but Vashnu has some ideas for some Wrath retro-raids, which might also include The Burning Crusade stuff. Not certain, though!

/Retro - was/is the channel you're looking for. As far as I'm aware it's still active Horde-side but I don't know about the Alliance. |

Gremkarc, add /HighKingdom! It's an in character channel devoted to the defence of Quel'thalas. Aedreglos can give you more information!

Hello,
Is there a way to add one of these chanels eg. /RPAdvice to a social panel? In the place where typical chanels are stored - linked to keybinding O- (like /1 General chanel and so on). I will be grateful for answer :) |
