I remember the days when ther wher EPIC battels in Alterac Valley some took days to win.
This in /bg chat....ALL RUN DREK! I cant see the fun in that.
Pvp in Alterac Valley is gone its mostly pve thes days and in some not even a good defence.
Evry one runs to FW keep and hug the littel hill ther.
how ever evry now and then we get a good fight but the reinforcement thingy ruins it.
So im sending the request out to blizzard that restore Alterac Valley to its former glory as it was in the begining when it first came out or maby have 2 Alterac Valley runing 1 for thos who want to pve and one wher its the old one whit truly EPICK battels that takes hours or even days.
Alterac Valley thes days are to short and i miss when i logged in went to Alterac Valley and sayed ther for the evning defending or trying to take FW keep for hours upon hours of endless fun.
Alterac Valley is or WAS the best battelground you at Blizzard made.
How ever today it is still the most fun BG to play even it has this well grinding tag on it.

Blizzard bring fun back to the battelground

Yeah... no.

As it is, most AVs I end up in come down to reinforcements, and most of us have better things to do with our time than sit in a single BG for hours for maybe a 100-150 honor point gain. AV is terrible anyway, it's all about mass zerging and 0 personal skill involved.

Yes, it would be nice to get into AV and have a good ol' standoff like in vanilla. Sadly I don't think that's gonna happen, this bg is a PVP race, nothing more, if they change it now, the racers will fail, try again, fail, try again a few times before they come here and complain about how long it takes and how they could be doing something else with the time it would require them to actually PVP.

It's not the PvE involved, it's the reinforcements that the game now has.

Back in the day before the reinforcements the game would last hours.

Avz I started playing in us realms when the game first came out thats what 6 or 7 years ago.

To the rest of you if you dont want to play long battels well then dont ther are what 4 or 5 other battelgrounds to go to.(i did say that maby Blizzard could have 2 types of Alterac Valley 1 as it is and 1 old one)
What i mean about pve in Alterac Valley is that evry one runs straight to Galvager(most of the time) then towers(till horde take them back becouse of no defence) and then sitt on the littel hill in FW keep till towers are down(not even defending the towers and the relife hut gy) and most of the time horde kick ther ass out of ther keep and by then horde have taken all towers and killed balinda and its to late to start defending.
THE biggest thing most alliance do is avoid at all cost is to fight the horde and if they cant win under 3 to 5 minuts they start flaming battlelground chat.
Thats not pvp and this is how most Av battels go.
Oh btw you get the most honor for killing the other guys not killing just Drek.
The few times i been in a Av battel wher we won whit out killing Galv or taking towers i got less than 50 honor points so this blitzz on drek dose not pay off.
Its simpel if you dont like long battels then dont joine them.

And talking about zerg and 0 skillz.......
It takes more skill to fight for a long time and holding back the attackers or attacking and you build up better team work and thers somthing we the alliance need to learn.
And about the zerg trust me you need skill to fight those especially when the attack force is bigger and beating them.
