i dont like the new buff consolidation feature, so i turn it off, but every time i go to a loading screen it turns back on, i have to back into interface and tick it active again then untick..why does this happen?

You're sure it's not an addon interfering?

Try to disable all addons. Turn it off -> log out and back in. See if it stays off. If that's not the case, it's probably a bug. Be sure all addons are disabled though.
