Disconnect BEFORE entering a BG.

I am getting reports in Gchat right about now that several people have pressed "enter" for a BG only to be disconnected right away, and when they log back (within the 3min buffer-time) they still get Deserter.
They haven't even been in the BG and they get deserter, wtf? This is also happening in the regular instances, so it's probably a huge bug. I mean, YET ANOTHER HUGE BUG. God damn, this hotfix made it even worse, again. |

Having the same issue. Although it must double suck for Horde, 15 minute debuff and then a 10 minute wait just to see if it'll happen again.
Shame we'll probably need to wait till monday for any hot fix. If there will be one. |

Likewise here ;-/ just had 3 bg's in a row - all with disconnects at first.. disconnect upon trying to get back in multiple times in a row.. twice with deserter buff back outside.. once in arathi with 4 alliance vs 2 horde.. and nobody else joining.. grats to them for 1600/0 5 base win.. ;-/

I wonder what is up at Blizzard. Some years ago when I played more often Wow the bugs very dealt with (of course with some exceptions) pretty quickly. Especially with the serious ones. Now we have seen bugged BGs (cannons, the pink barrier, bugged hangars etc) and buggy queues for weeks.
Sure, they are adding a lot of patches. But at one point enough is enough. Especially because, also unlike some years ago, they do not offer recompensation days for such bs. Anway, the decision for me is easier to try out SW:TOR once it is released. Obviously a certain company got too cocky because it did too well. |

same thing here..gave up
get to loading screen, then booted, then deserter....1 hr wasted on 2 attempts. Apparently people are getting booted from ICC as well..so it must be something overlooked or someone didn't do their job. |

Getting it too. Quite annoying considering LFD and BG are down also just looking for a goup trying to enter an instance portal is a waste of time kicked kicked kicked.

This is just annoying. PVP is pretty much all I can do these days. So when these things happen, this game is a total waste of money for me.

Ok so, the deserter debuff just went after 15 minutes. I went AFK for 5 minutes after that then came back, teleported and had the deserter debuff again. I didn't even join or queue for a BG... Um, sigh?
