list your best paladin addons

Addons are dependant on your playstyle.
If you are looking at healing, then you need to ensure that you can see who is taking damage and how much when in party or raid groups. The new Blizz raid UI is actually quite good for this now. If you are a "clicker" for healing then most people do recommend an addon like healbot, normally combined with Grid/VuDu or similar addons. If you are a "keyboard caster" then a good Unit Frame addon like X-Perl may abe useful for you. As I said a lot is trial and error to see what you feel most comfortable with. |

I used Clique with Grid for a long time to tank heal but as I haven't healed since 4.01 came out I don't really know if that's still viable.

uh, I have yet to see anyone using healbot in combination with grid or vuhdo. All three are full raid-frame implementations, which are pretty hard to use in combination (not to mention it being pretty useless). You probably meant them as alternatives to eachother. As for grid, it is often used in combination with another addon called Clique which allows click-casting on it. I strongly disagree here. X-perl is one of the most crappy addons I've seen the last few years. You're much better off getting an actual customizable (or at least not eye-sore-inducing) unitframe addon like Pitbull, Shadowed UF, stUF, oUF, etc. Couldn't agree more :) |
