Hi All
As many of you know I’ve been floating around this server since the early days and it occured to me that we do not have a history, a Hall of Fame, of the Maelstrom. So I've put together this post to show which guilds got the first kills on the raid bosses of World of Warcraft on our server, from the beginning to modern day. To define "first kill" I decided to go with the following: Classic & The Burning Crusade - First guild to kill a raid boss. Wrath of the Lich King - First guild to kill a raid boss in 25 man heroic mode Cataclysm - First guild to kill a raid boss in 25 man heroic mode Notable Achievements Over the years of World of Warcraft there has been one large PvE world achievement and 4 PvE dungeons achievements that have been worthy of note on this list too, they are: - Opening the Gates of Ahn Qiraj - 4 Raid Dungeon Achievements from the WotLK instance Trial of the Crusader Thanks go to Axal & Justwait for their old PvE progress threads which gave me huge amounts of this information and to Hellion, Sanctum and ScrubBusters, your websites / recruitment posts were very helpful. Also thanks to all the people who helped out in the old forums with info on my original thread, it was all very helpful. Please post when new heroic mode kills are made and if you have any further information on first kills I may have wrong please post those issues up to. |

In Cataclysm I'm again looking for the first kills on Heroic difficulty. However, unlike WotLK, kills in either 10 or 25 man Heroic will be accepted as the first kill due to Blizzard's statement that the 10 and 25 man should be the same difficulty. |
