Warrior
For as long as war has raged, heroes from every race have aimed to master the art of battle. Warriors combine strength, leadership, and a vast knowledge of arms and armor to wreak havoc in glorious combat. Some protect from the front lines with shields, locking down enemies while allies support the warrior from behind with spell and bow. Others forgo the shield and unleash their rage at the closest threat with a variety of deadly weapons.
The warrior’s battle cries embolden friends and leave foes cowering in fear. With legendary precision, warriors target the smallest gaps in armor and slice at hamstrings in a blur of steel.
Every dragon slain, corrupted tyrant toppled, and demon banished from Azeroth has trembled in the face of these lords of war.
Warriors equip themselves carefully for combat and engage their enemies head-on, letting attacks glance off their heavy armor. They use diverse combat tactics and a wide variety of weapon types to protect their more vulnerable allies. Warriors must carefully master their rage – the power behind their strongest attacks – in order to maximize their effectiveness in combat.

Warrior talents can improve their already considerable defenses with a shield, increase their deadliness with two-handed weapons, or bolster their savagery while dual-wielding.
Mighty warriors depend on their heavy armor, shields, and battle prowess to defend themselves and ensure enemies don’t focus on their softer-skinned allies.
Weapon mastery is a staple of warrior training, and they are capable of delivering high damage with enormous two-handed weapons or by wielding two weapons.
As warriors deal or take damage, their rage grows, allowing them to deliver truly crushing attacks in the heat of battle.
By changing their stance during battle, warriors can adjust their focus in combat, dealing greater damage, defending more carefully against enemy attacks, or striking a balance between the two.

Im thinking of making a warrior for both pvp and instances, so quick question, is it possible to be a tank in pvp?
Sort of like: awesome at taking blows and still able to give pretty good damage?
I really like the protection warrior but am not too found with arms and fury, to little defencive when in the front without a healer.
Please help.

Strength and Stamina are your primary stats. Strength makes you hit harder and stamina boosts your lifespan. We have NO USE for ANY other primary stat.
As for secondary stats, hit, expertise and crit are the most important. Hit and expertise makes you hit your enemy more often = more damage. Crit is a damage boost by 200%. AFter level 80 you get a new stat: mastery. It works differently between specs.
Parry/dodge on plate is reserved for tanks. If you are in a dungeon group and the tank does not need the item, it's generally ok for you to need on it if it's still an upgrade for you and you are not tank specced yourself.
We are very gear dependant and require a good weapon to deal any significant damage, along with good armor. We can wear mail up to 40, and then upgrade to plate mail. Make sure you always have good equipment, but don't steal from other players what you can't use. You'd rather have a pair of boots with 13 str/sta than 23 agi/sta and make a monk/hunter/rogue pissed as they are of no use to you.
Mostly I'd recommend leveling as an arms warrior if you are new to the game, or protection if you're dying a lot. Fury is very gear dependant and is not really recommended to level up as, as they need LOTS of hit rating to be able to deal proper and predictable damage (missing 5 times in a row and dying is not fun).
Right now warriors are pretty buffed and to some, overpowered. It might be hard and frustrating to level up it as your first class due to the lack of gear, but my, it's worth it in the long run.
