Lost D3D9 device

Starcraft II Technical Support
Can anybody explain this error? if is a well known issue let us know.....
There are quite a few things that can cause a Direct3D device to transition into a lost state. Are you seeing this error in the game logs or is the game crashing on you and presenting a window with this error message?

Can you upload your DxDiag and MSInfo files to any file sharing site of your choice and post the links to them here so we can get more information about your computer? Here's how to obtain these files.

Thanks!

The graphics.txt file does show a 'Lost D3D9 device' at the end, but that doesn't necessarily indicate an issue because when you alt+tab out of the game it can cause the graphics card to temporarily transition into a lost state, which is normal from the game's POV.

Your DxDiag looks OK to me. All your system drivers appear to be up-to-date, though you may want to double check your motherboard manufacturers website (ASUS), just to ensure your chipset drivers are really up-to-date, as they are almost a year old. Other than that, I don't see anything wrong with your DxDiag.

Just so that it's clear to me... did the game crash on you and if it did, did you only see a small message box saying 'lost d3d9device' with nothing else? Or did you also get an error report ID?
The error i fount it looking on Gamelogs folder in Starcraft folder in Documents.

I play ARCADE Starcraft a lot.

The thing is i cant enter the lobby anymore, but if i insist with queuing at some point i may or may not enter the lobby.

All the time i have to exit the game, delete everything in Starcraft folder from Documents and i will enter the first time i try , after that game nothing is certain anymore. This will also delete all my progress in ARCADE games, because none of that is kept online ( don't understand why, but i suppose it can be a lot of info to be stored somewhere and the storage is not free....) .

Thank you for looking into this problem i have, and if you can figure this out and send a solution by mail please add me on that Bcc list.

Peace and Unity

What happens when you try?

Does that happen in the US region too or only in EU? You may want to try resetting your network devices and flushing the DNS cache and see if that helps.

If the issue persists, I'd try using Google DNS - just as a temporary measure - and see what happens after that.

I'm not a Blizzard employee, just another player who's trying to help out fellow StarCraft II players with their technical issues (employees are blue). I can only help on these forums, and sometimes on Twitter too (@mvpdeanx) when the issue isn't too complex.
