Honestly? Have you read my post? Its on Mac, and there's literally no steps for Mac under the provided link. Starcraft just doesn't start at all. After reinstall no success.
I have the same problem, after install the patch 4.8.6, the Starcraft is crash,
I've tried to reinstall the SC and nothing happened,
Then I repaired the SC folder permissions, same result,

The problem is the new patch obviously,

Update:
This has been a problem previously, and by looking around the Forums I found the solution to be:
- On Mac Apple menu, go to System Preferences/Sharing
- Change Computer Name to something different.
- Click on Edit and then Okay.
- Close Preferences window.
- Game should now work
You can change Computer Name back to what it was originally and it should still work. In fact, you may not even have to change the Computer Name, just going through the steps might be sufficient.
Enjoy!

These steps can indeed help with some of the crashes, thank you for sharing this post, Dav. :)

Its on Mac, and there's literally no steps for Mac under the provided link.
The page by default displays troubleshooting steps for Windows systems, to visualize those for Mac, the relevant tab must be selected. If the tab isn't visible on your browser, this might be caused by a cache issue - please try clearing it.
This said though, I'm happy to read that changing your computer name solved the issue for you, thank you very much for your update, TheEnd!
