14 Feb 2014 Forum Guidelines - Please Read Welcome to the World of Warcraft discussion forums! This forum is here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss all aspects of World of Warcraft with your fellow players. Community forums work best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy. Therefore, we ask that you take the time to read through the forum Code of Conduct before posting. Search The new search function at the top of the World of Warcraft community site is extremely robust. Please be sure to use it to look for similar topics, blog posts, or web pages that may contain the answer before creating your forum topic. Making a new thread on an existing subject will likely result in your thread being deleted. If you continue to repost it you're likely to have your posting privileges suspended for spamming. Worst of all, you'll be making the other forum goers upset that you didn't take a minute to search before posting. Rating The new rating system (http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/blog/930468) can be used to promote positive discussion, and demote unhelpful posts, or even report posts that violate the forum code of conduct. By hovering over a post you'll be presented with a thumbs up, and a thumbs down icon. Clicking the 'thumbs down' icon you can choose from a few options. Dislike will rate the comment down. If enough people dislike a post it will be darkened, or with a lot of dislikes it will be hidden. You can also quickly report a post as trolling or spam, or use the report function to fill out a more comprehensive description of the violation. You can only rate each post once. Use it wisely to help foster a positive and helpful forum community. Guidelines In addition to the Forum Code of Conduct (http://eu.battle.net/en/community/conduct), here are some common courtesy guidelines to follow to ensure these forums remain a constructive and friendly gathering place for the community. While these do technically fall within the bounds of the Code of Conduct, these cover more specific examples of common errors that will lead to thread deletions or posting privileges being revoked. The World of Warcraft forums are for discussion of topics directly related to World of Warcraft The forums here are specifically to discuss the game and related topics. Any topics not related to World of Warcraft, Battle.net or Blizzard are subject to deletion. Don't post in all capital letters, use a misleading title, excessive punctuation, non-standard symbols, etc. While everyone wants their posts read, we ask you to refrain from using these types of tactics in order to bring more people to your thread. Let your post stand on its own merit. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Using the words Blizzard, Blue, or any community team members name in a thread topic to gather attention is frowned upon Everyone would like Blizzard to read and acknowledge his or her post, and we understand that. However, use of such words in the topic does not help that come to pass. Please make your thread title relevant to the post subject. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Note that threads discussing e.g. the Blizzard authenticator or Blizzard’s latest press release are allowed to have Blizzard in the title as it’s then relevant to the discussion. Posting "First" or IBTL constitutes as spamming You will be suspended if you create a post that is intended to call out that you achieved a specific reply number in a thread. This is considered spamming. Posting IBTL (in before the lock) is not helpful and if you feel a thread should be moderated please use the rating button to do so. Posting TLDR or L2P constitutes as trolling Posting TLDR (Too Long, Didn’t Read) is saying you don’t care about a player’s post. Posting L2P (Learn to Play) mocks the player for their skill or experience level rather than provide constructive input on the post itself. Both are considered trolling and will lead to a suspension.Takralus2 14 Feb 2014
08 Feb RP Guild List Only totally rad people are allowed to Request Sticky. Are you a pro as heck roleplayer? Maybe you should try to click that button up there and face the ultimate test. Remember to press Like and subscribe and follow us on the tweetings and the faces books. --- So! Our server forums are being switched up a bit, so I've taken it upon myself to recreate the RP Guild List thread from the ER forums. I'm going to start off with the RP guilds from the ER-sticky for now, and any Darkmoon Faire people are totally allowed on the list, too. The reason I'm starting off with the ER-sticky is because the DMF-sticky from their forums doesn't look as though it's been updated in a while. So if you want a spot on the list, try to stick to the following template and post in the thread! I'll put you on there somewhere. If any DMF-guild leaders or representatives are already listed in the sticky on their forums, I would appreciate it if they could take a moment to read through the following and think about how they can adjust their entries to match the new format! ... If you're looking for inspiration, try checking out some of the entries below!Ariyel67 08 Feb

2d Gossip Grapevine Request Sticky, if you dare. I heard there is a totally top drawer treasure hidden behind that button up there. ---- If you want to spread rumours and tall tales, this is the place for you, friend! Want to spread some hearsay through the populated RP-streets? Do you want to prattle about some special deed or raise awareness of some vague, looming threat? Maybe there is a whispered scandal among the elven nobles? Or maybe a buzz of whispers in Stormwind after a battalion returns home safely? Or maybe, just maybe, there is something really really mysterious going on within those shadows in that one corner of that place we all know of. Post all about it! You don't have to write up anything long or elaborate like my (kind of old-ish) example below, in fact keeping it simple and vague probably makes for the best rumours. Go go go!Ariyel72 2d
2d [H] Weekly raids - Wed @ 2030CET + Sat @ 2100CET Our guild raid every week and we regularly take puglets but those who join us through the group finder vary greatly in quality and there seem to be an awful lot of hostile souls out there. So, if there are friendly fellow denizens of DMF/ER who enjoy raiding but have been put off by the prospect of having to "apply" to a random PUG which requires you to have excessively high item level and "curve" just to do a "normal" run, we invite you to join our run. We are not a raiding guild but our core members raid regularly and we try to strike the right balance between having some fun, and getting things done. Currently we raid on Saturdays starting group invite at 2100 server time (2000 UK time), and we are trialling shorter runs on Wednesdays starting group invite at 2030 server time (1930 UK time). Loot setting is simply personal loot and for voice we use TS3. We have been farming NH in the past but we are now switching our focus to TOS. We tend to go 2-3-9 and we try to maintain balance between ranged and melee DPS. Unpleasant people will be removed from our group (although they tend to rage-quit before we decide to kick them). If you are interested in joining our weekly runs, /w me (Aerdris) or Aerina in game (or look for our listing in group finder) 2030CET onwards on Wednesdays and 2100CET onwards on Saturdays. For our TOS Normal run, anyone who is il890+ is welcome. We won't ask for any achievement, but we do ask that you come prepared (food, flasks, and reading up in adventure guide/wowhead), have patience, and put in some effort!Aerdris1 2d
3d [H-RP] Outrider Company Noticeboard Taken from Roat’s original post, adjusted by Narkol, and adjusted again by yours truly. We are the wolves of war. Our howl marks their death. We ride for our horde, kill for our homeland, fight for our honour, and die for our cause. Our Company has protected the homelands from assault for decades. When you join our ranks, you join a family. A unit like no other. We are the Outriders. We are the howling reapers. The enemy thinks themselves safe behind their lines. We prove them wrong. Who are we? The Outrider Company is a Role-play guild that has been in and out of existence for some time. The idea was generated over a good few years between friends and has now become a reality. In Character, the Outrider Company is a unit devised by the Warchief to slip behind enemy lines and take out threats before they have the chance to mobilise. Notable missions include: Reinforcing Warlord Jangas' campaign in the Southern Barrens; The infamous Pandaria Campaign, which became our first act of the revolution; Rebel action across central Kalimdor, chiefly Ashenvale and Bilgewater, which climaxed with the pivotal victory in Bilgewater Harbour; Leading a redemption campaign for defeated Kor'kron, which ultimately uncovered and defeated a powerful enemy; Spearheading the assault on the Iron Horde in Draenor Who are we looking for? The Outrider Company is a close unit. Every member works in cooperation with the others. We are looking for members to fill all sorts of rolls within the company, with the only requirement being that you are the best at what you do. Soldiers capable of stealth warfare are prized, but we also need berserkers, snipers, sorcerers, and a nanny for the ridiculous number of children our female members are firing out. On an out of character basis, our primary objective is fun. That's really it. We go to great lengths to achieve it, but it can mean some seemingly weird standards come into place. Most notably, despite being Navy SEALS or the Spetznatz of the Horde, overpowered characters aren't welcome. Yeah, I know, it's stupid. Except, it isn't. Sure, we do a lot of crazy hijinks (our unofficial mantra is "we go on suicide missions and come back with prisoners"), but we do them well. People get injured, we get defeated as much as we win, and our fatality rate is punishing. We have wolf-iron relic armour, but we have absolutely zero plot armour. And, instead of ruining the roleplay with constant, inconvenient deaths, it just makes the victories so much sweeter. That pretty much sums up the attitude that the guild was made with. Fun is best when earned by realism, but too much realism sucks the fun out. What can we offer you? The Outrider Company has a lot to offer both IC and OOC. OOC, the Outrider Company is a group of friends, all sharing an interest in every aspect of WoW. We try our best to help our members level up. We do what we can to aid our own, and the rest of the LFRP community. Joining us means meeting people who were chosen for their friendliness, as well as their skill in roleplay. IC, the company works in two ways. You aid us, we aid you. Lodging for all members is available at the great Outrider Hall in Orgrimmar. It is equipped with its own kitchen, training grounds, and meeting rooms. The Company is directly funded by the Warchief. If the Outriders need better munitions, we will do our best to supply them. If the Outriders need a celebration party for completing that harrowing mission, you bet there will be cake! The Company has a lot to offer you. And we know there is a lot you can offer the Company. We are a unit. A family. This thread will be used for our Outriders to give feedback to the rest of the community, of our efforts, missions, and glories we achieve in this dark time of war. Questions asked, will be answered. Desires will be sated. And blood will be shed. (Editor's note: please do not murder anyone in this thread) This bit is important! If you skipped the boring stuff above here, I should let it be known that I am not the leader of this guild. That honour is held by Cave Sunrider. At a word she can throw anything that has been written here into the bin and replace it with something fresh and interesting. I don't know if we have any posters still standing around the cities, but after a seriously bloody track record, it's plausible just to have heard of us. To join, simply give me or Cave a shout in-game, or post on here! Stay tuned for news, updates, and notices relevant to Outriders and our friends, OOC and IC! We are the Outrider Company. We are the wolves of war. Let none stand in our way.Gerall104 3d
4d [A-RP] Stormwind Notice Board Many of the old posters and notes had been taken down, and a fresh lick of paint had been applied to the posts. The Handy man stepped back and nodded. This would do nicely. Middle of the Trade District and with a small enchantment that meant only the person who posted the note could remove it. Exactly as requested. So, this is an idea that came up among guard chat and I thought we'd see how it worked. An IC notice board for people to post jobs, offering services, missing items, that sort of thing. Thought it could drive some RP. Hope people like the idea and can find some use for it.Nakama4 4d
16 Jun [A-RP] The Nightglaives: Chronicle of Adventures ... What is this thread? I am making this thread to keep a record of the Nightglaives' adventures throughout Azeroth, both for members of the guild and for anyone else wanting to keep up on what we're up to. If you are unfamiliar with what the Nightglaives are, I encourage you to read our original recruitment thread for an overview of the guild's concept: https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/17612923729 I'm always happy to have more RPers so consider this something of a recruitment thread as well! But wait, there's more! The thread will also serve to keep track of important in-character information, so that players who miss key events can catch up on what their characters should know about current events. This kind of information will include: Where we are currently stationed, and how (or if) your character can learn of our whereabouts if you have not recently travelled with us. The status of the camp we are staying in, and any important features beyond what you physically can see in the game world. The status of surrounding area, including amount and strength of any demonic activity, any other (known) threats, and anything else important that differs from how the game-world looks. Any information/rumours/reports your character should be aware of if they are hanging around the camp off-screen while you can't be online. All of the above should help keep a sense of consistency between characters whose players have varying schedules and can't always be around for RP, and help avoid situations where your character is unaware of something that they realistically should know about. Future Plans - An IC "noticeboard" to track our main objective(s) and any sub-objectives. ... - Stats maybe?! ... Finally, I encourage anyone who enjoys doing so to suggest any ideas they might have for fun or interesting events/mini-events (they don't always have to be serious demon-slaying missions!) that might make sense within the current IC climate. I also highly encourage people to be adventurous and just wander off and explore sometimes, so long as I am available to tell you what you might find. Improv DMing is something I enjoy and want to pratice. (You can of course go exploring even without me around, but that just means I won't be able to let you find treasures or stumble across hordes of demons wanting to kill you.) Lastly, I am always open to suggestions and ideas, and I especially like weaving personal moments for characters into my larger event plans. So if you want anything interesting to happen for your character and want my help in portraying that during an event, do get in touch! (This could be anything from "I want to use this cool weapon model, can I somehow find it during our adventures?" to "My character has this deep dark secret and I'd like for it to be revealed somehow.") The Story So Far... Keep reading below to learn of our recent adventures.Shahlia29 16 Jun
15 Jun [H] Sincerity is recruiting raiders <Sincerity> [Earthen Ring/DarkmoonFaire (ER/DMF) - Horde] is a casual to semi-hardcore raiding guild welcoming players looking for a new home. A nice personality and attitude are the core values of a good raider in our eyes. The guild’s name is more than just a name: it’s what we stand for. We offer a unique, relaxed (and often rather humorous) raiding atmosphere where everyone is respected and welcomed. Having fun is still the most important aspect of raiding: the individual behind the computer screen matters, and if an issue arises (which can vary from a small argument to a lack of DPS) we do our very best to help you and sort it out. Our end goal is to have heroic raids completely cleared (currently the case for Nighthold), and then to push into Mythic as far as we can. A full clear of Mythic is, however, not part of our goal. Outside of raiding, we have a bunch of other events, such as "nostalgia game night" (Quake 3, Age of Empires II, etc.), PvP events, active Mythic+ groups, etc. We expect you to be a friendly, social person who is respectful of others and is willing to help them. In short, your personal values have to align with those of the guild – we don’t support egocentrism, selfishness, elitism or rude behaviour in general. Joining every raid is not obligatory, but of course, the more the merrier. We are looking for capable players who fit the above description and are interested in joining us for Nighthold. We are looking for people to expand our Mythic roster. Our raidtimes are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 21:00 to 00:00 realmtime (CET). Interested or have any questions? Post a reply here or whisper me in-game (Sacrae, I may be on my alts Astrae or Noctae as well)!Sacrae17 15 Jun
14 Jun realm too low population? Hello fellow ER and DMF people! I'd like to hear what your opinions are regarding our realm being so low populated with only 4000 people, 1300 horde / 2700 alliance? My personal opinion is that we really should get merged with several other low populated realms that are on same boat as us, in order to not risk loosing more people. We've already lost guilds like Aeon, Elysium, Remnant, Obscura Legio and Fortune. Earthen Ring has been my home since Wotlk, when i played on my previous acc, and when i returned late MOP, the realm was dead. When they did announce we would get merged with Darkmoon Faire, i was happy since i thought it would give new hope with having many lots of people playing in the realm, like old times. The first couple of days or week, i remember the population was on medium and maybe even high, and after that its only been low since. I dont know if blizzard do check these forums in realms or not, but my only wish is to know why blizzard arent doing anything on this part? I'm not saying, merge 20 realms and make us the biggest realm, but merge us with one - four very low populated realms so we are 8-10k people, so the realm doesnt seem so dead, when leveling a new toon, or being in any capital besides Dalaran, that's also starting to look really empty (Same deal in Class Hall)Theblackahsa11 14 Jun
11 Jun [A] Cloud Mountain Recruiting Socials Cloud Mountain are a group of seasoned players who came together to grow a welcoming warm friendly community where game play and fun coexist comfortably. Our guild runs Heroic Raids (7/7 3/3 10/10) with Normals for socials and alts within the guild as the schedule allows, and we particularly love M+ content with friends too. We've some serious Pet Battlers, Altaholic rerollers, and casual multiMMOers who all call CM home and add to its diverse game play and social offerings. We also run an active Discord and whether you favour chat or text and emojis, there's something for most interests. If you're looking for a chill and genuinely friendly place to feel part of a community again, look us up and give us an ingame mail (Tanakia, Ardius, Talvander) or add one of us on BNet j0ust#2541 Prynkesse#2904 or Angel#22391 If you find you're interested in the raiding team have a look at our recruiting post https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/17615091788 PS: Please be willing to but up with Dad jokes and bad puns!Tanakia0 11 Jun

09 Jun [H] Freedom call 5/10M recruiting. Freedom call are one of the oldest and socially tight guilds on the realm, and are now looking for new raiders to add to it's team with a view to begin mythic progression. It matters not whether you are an experienced raider with a ridiculously high ilvl or a freshly dinged 110, we are willing to teach and gear players up. We are looking for healers and dps. Our raid times are 20:00-23:00 server time Wed, Thurs, and Sun. Wednesday is currently an alt/boosting run due to us having cleared all heroic content so if you want to try it out feel free to come along. If interested contact either Kindling, Hemerus, or Veroxz in game. Thanks!Chaplain7 09 Jun
06 Jun [A-RP] The Stormwind City Guard Posters fluttering about the streets, nailed to notice boards and trees and walls tell tale that the Stormwind City Guard is upping their recruitment drive. ... OOC stuff! Minimum level to join is 22, due to uniform requirement levels. All races and classes are welcome except for DeathKnights and IC Warlocks As said, weekly recruitment is at City Hall in the Cathedral District at 20:00 realm time. Though if you can't make that, feel free to drop by Headquaters - the SI:7 building - and ask for Louisa, Eru, or Galohan, and we'll be glad to give you an interview. Alternatively, send us mail. IC or OOC mail about joining. Officer IGNs: Louìsa Erulasse Ricarde An OOC note on Guard RP We do law enforcement RP. That doesn't mean we want to control people's RP, nor does it mean we consider ourselves an OOC police force to govern over any and all RP that goes on within the city. We like to RP Guards, that's all. We are also people. Behind the Guards, behind the screens, we get upset just the same as everyone else. RP -with- us, not -at- us, in the words of the immortal Coragon Havencrest.Erulasse7 06 Jun
31 May [A-RP] A Call to Arms! The Stormeagle Vanguard! A poster rests on a city wall, the visage of Lord Anduin Lothar sits upon it with the likes of the late King Varian Wrynn, Uther the Lightbringer, and other deceased heroes of the Alliance. Heavy, bold text beneath it exclaims- "WE NEED YOU, TO DEFEND OUR HONOUR, TO DEFEND YOUR HOME" Beneath it, in finer text, a longer message. "The Stormeagle Vanguard unit, of his majesty's 7th Standing Legion requires fresh faces to take the fight to all who threaten our ways. Do you have what it takes to fight for the Alliance? Report to Knight Champion Tyram Deolaras to learn more." And with the IC out of the way- here comes the OOC: Hello! Some of you may know me by a few other names, and a few other guilds. Cerainos of the Nightglaives, or Gralnok of the Outriders. I've been on the server for around five years now, mostly floating about, helping friends with their concepts; or sometimes being handed the reigns to guilds. In this case however, I have created the Stormeagle Vanguard with a few friends as a passion project. With all that rambling aside, onwards, to tell you of what awaits! HIGH ADVENTURE! One core goal to the guild is making use of Azeroth and the Lore to the fullest potential- to supply consistent, fierce enemies, fantastical settings and awe inspiring sights of magic. Events consisting of combat, puzzle solving, environmental hazards- and camaraderie. A NOBLE FEELING! When I think of a Warcraft human, I think of stoic and just champions, I think of nobility of a noble disposition. Of footmen, paladins, wizards and knightly valour. If the tone of Uther the Lightbringer is something you're fond of, I am to provide an environment for you! HOW TO GET IN TOUCH! Mail me, whisper me [Deolaras, Cerainos, Tuaitha, Daielle, Liandera], or poke any member of the guild for an OOC invite! IC recruitment will be arranged between I and whoever wishes to be a member, and will be fulfilled in as timely a manner as possible. Thanks for reading! I'll answer any questions in further posts, and will also use this thread as a notice board once the guild takes off.Deolaras6 31 May
29 May [A+H] Nemesis 7/7 Quest ,Warlord of Draenor achievement Let me introduce myself, I've been selling raid locks on my server for 9 months so i have earned a legitimate reputation, to view this check out http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/15060807122 and or add me https://www.facebook.com/roahana.causeandeffect I'm online a lot and i don't mind sharing my Battletag as long as it is for legitimate business, Kazzie#2600. Right then I am starting a new venture within the game, Nemesis boosting. This is for the Gladiator Sactum, that requires you to kill 500 of a specific race. I can provide it for either Horde or Alliance. Our standard rate is 20k gold per race. Once I have arranged a date with you I ask for a deposit 5k which will secure your place on that boost, with the outstanding 15k payable at the end of the boost. How it works; You contact me in-game or via Roahana's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/roahana.causeandeffect) and tell me which race(s) you want to boost. Currently I am unable to add people to my Battle.tag as it is full so contacting me via Facebook can be easier. I will contact when the race you are interested in will be boosted next. I will always try to get a full group as this speeds up the process. It will take roughly 20 minutes if done with 5 people on the quest. Please note; If you have a nemesis quest in progress and you need only a few kills, please abandon the quest and pick it up again. It is important that you have 0/500 kills for the rest of the group. If you are on the first step of the Nemesis quest line and still need to collect a heart before being able to start the 500 kills quest, don't worry, you can collect this at the start of the boosting process. For those that don't know me, FAQ; Q: Is nemesis boosting allows, will I not get banned? A: Yes, it is perfectly legal, you will not get banned for receiving a nemesis boost. Q: What happens if I don't turn up? A: If you do not turn up on the date arranged with out letting me know, then you will loose your deposit. This is because when people don't turn up, it makes it take longer for everyone else. If you let me know in advance I am happy to rearrange it. Q: What happens if I disconnect? A: Try to log back on as soon as you can. We will pause to see if you are coming straight back but will then continue. If you make it back on but have fallen behind by a fair amount and we have not yet passed the halfway point then we will often reset everyones quest to 0 and start again as with a full group it goes much faster. This does depend on people in the group being happy to do so (it means more bones and honour for them but of course will take slightly longer) For more information you can contact Roahana-ShatteredHalls (Horde), Bimmeela-Chromagus (Alliance), Roahana Causeandeffect on Facebook or leave a post here.Roahana13 29 May
28 May Return once more? So... As the topic says. If it time to return after almost 3 years? Sometimes i just get the urge to go back and enjoy this game and this RP server. But it's been so long sinec last time and i know much has changed. Not knowing anyone at all anymore. So is it worth it? Are both sides still kicking? Is there room for an old RP'er to come home?Tahleir2 28 May

22 May [H]Divine Misfortune (4/10M) recruiting! Hello there! Divine Misfortune is a fairly casual progress raiding guild that has been around since the end of Cataclysm. We have been pushing mythic content since WoD, and are currently one of only 2 active guilds on the server that has killed 4 bosses in mythic Nighthold. We are currently looking to recruit both healers and dpses. Having a previous raiding history is of course greatly appreciated, but a positive mindset and a willingness to learn new things can often reach just as far! We raid Thursdays and Tuesdays 19:50-23:00 and Sundays 19:30-23:00 realm time. The Thursday raid is a more casual raid night where we clear heroic, while Sundays and Tuesdays are progression nights. If you are interested, feel free to whisper me, Holkan, Traight or Braíds in-game, or apply on our forum: http://divinemisfortunedmf.enjin.com/ If none of us appears to be online, feel free to whisper any other member and they will redirect you to an officer! Hope to see you soon!Ottys0 22 May
21 May <Metanoia> - Ravencrest. Looking for serious raiders <Metanoia> - Ravencrest - Alliance Introduction We are a group of older players who enjoy the game the most when we are pushing hard for Mythic boss kills whilst they are still relevant, unfortunately, we have been unable to find a guild that matches those ambitions/raids at the times we are able to raid. The Plan The aim is to have a solid roster of 20+ players who all want to get cutting edge pre-nerf in a drama free environment, and understand what is required in raids and outside to achieve that. Requirements • Age 18+ (will be reviewed case by case if not met) • Able to raid Weds/Thurs/Mon 22:00-01:00 (server-time) • 100% attendance barring unforeseen circumstances or reasonable notice. • Able to speak English and have a working mic you can use • Always prepared for raids, food/flask/pots/runes • Able to take constructive criticism and feedback. • Preferably have provable experience in raiding at a high end (will be reviewed case by case) • Able to commit the time required to min/max (and expect the same of others) • In depth knowledge of class and upcoming changes. • Able to read/watch/listen to raid tactics and have a thorough understanding of the boss and mechanics before stepping into any raid. • The mindset that loot is a means to an end and the “teams” progress > personal logs. • Mechanically strong The mentality of the guild may seem strict but this is because we would prefer not to have our or your time wasted if you are not prepared to commit. (if you do not meet 1 of the requirements then still feel free to submit an application form, if you are not prepared to meet 1 of the requirements then this is likely not the place for you) Classes/Roles Required Currently, we are in need of 3 Healers (preferably not shaman mains), and Ranged + Melee DPS. It is possible we have a tank spot open for outstanding candidates. What we will offer you A serious, drama-free raiding environment, with players that will commit to putting in the required time and effort. • Cutting Edge on every raid, anything less is failure • Eventually, raiding flasks/pots/feasts • Committed, consistent, and experienced leadership • High standards expected of everyone equally, no exceptions. • Researched and prepared raid leading If this is of interest to you and you want to apply visit: http://www.metanoia-eu.shivtr.com/ If you would like some more information, add mellowz#2407, zime#21104, entail#2216, AuQia#2343, InSAne#23753Pollitburo0 21 May
20 May [A-RP] Order of Forged Blades (Open mercenary RP guild) Order of Forged Blades IC Message: ... OOC Message & Info: We will be recruiting every Friday from 9.00-10:00 PM Server time The recruitment will take place at the Slaughtered Lamb Inn, in the Mage District of Stormwind. We are still open to any more suggestions on how we could improve the guild. :) Our website is almost completed now, and we have put some valuable information on it, some of the information will only be shown to members e.g. headquarter's location (what fun is it if we don't have a little secrecy? ;) ) General Message: IC We are a newly founded and well-structured organisation of skilled and desirable mercenaries. To the outside world, the mercenary roots of the guild is known, yet the criminal side of it is unknown, hence the secrecy of the message and thorough examination of the character before the message is sent. We are looking for any character that is skilled at what they are to do, be it archery, use of daggers or use of spells. We are open to both people with a darker personality that would be accepting to commit from petty to more serious crimes as well as normal mercenary's who just wish to join a mercenary guild. Classes welcomed are :[/u] Death knights, Warlocks, Rogues, Warriors, Shadow Priests, Mages, Hunters. Classes in the 'maybe' list are: Druids, Monks, Shamans. (Whether these classes will be accepted will be determined on the character. Likewise; classes not listed here could possibly be considered however it would be heavily dependent on the character themselves. For example; a priest or paladin that has turned their back on the light wishing to take a darker path. Of course, characters such as this would have to be roleplayed at decent level, as with any other characters.) Initiation: Upon initiation, candidates are to swear an oath of secrecy due to the nature of the group. The oath is a spell that disables all members from attempting to communicate any information about the guild (E.g. Lose your voice if attempting to share the information vocally. We are open to any other suggestions/opinions if you believe you have a better idea on how the spell would prevent them from sharing the information.) Contact us in-game: To join or to ask any questions, you can contact us on; Founders: - Nóel, Marely, Atrux (Atrux-DarkmoonFaire) - Vaelran, Arysa, Bronir (Verida-DarkmoonFaire) - Alysae, Nala (Káthryn-DarkmoonFaire) Officers: - Minwenda, Kaylá (EarthenRing) Liles, Naween (DarkmoonFaire) ^ Same officer (Leave us a mail if we are not online. We love our alts ;D) Once you have contacted us, we will: - Have a short OOC interview to see if you fit the guild. (more like a casual chat) - Following us approving your character, we will set up a meeting place for an IC interview. More detailed information can be found our website http://order-of-the-lion.webs.com/ (formerly named 'order of the lion', we can't change the website domain so RIP in peace)Verida13 20 May
19 May [A] Tank LF casual raiding guild Hi there, I'm currently looking for an active casual raiding guild. Whether you are just starting out or have a somewhat established core is totally fine. Since I have just rerolled to tank (having not played it for some years) -- I'd prefer to start in early heroic progress (even though I have 10/10hc experience) just to get the hang of things again. I'm usually very active and up for M+ runs and transmog runs. I'm very vocal and happy to VoIP to make friends. Reply here or contact me at Ironside#21609Senzin1 19 May
19 May Healer LF friendly casual raiding guild Hey there! I'm a casual player (yet geeky enough to hang out on youtube strategy channels, icy veins etc) looking for a bunch of friendly people to raid with. I'm happy with raiding on Normal, but if the group is friendly and optimistic I might be willing to push that to Heroic. I'm most experienced as a healer and ranged DPS. My three main characters are this druid, holy priest and marksmanship hunter, all sitting at around 890 ilvl at the moment. As I said, the most important thing for me is that the guild atmosphere is friendly and encouraging. I'm also trans, so if the guild isn't queer friendly it's a no-no. Apart from healing, I can help out the raid by supplying alchemy and inscription wares, and the programmer in me would love to help you out with custom Weakauras or other mod fiddling. Take care and have fun, everyone! SallowSallow2 19 May

06 May The Stormwind City Messenger: Issue #10 --==CHANGING OF THE MAGISTRATES==-- This tuesday, it was announced at the weekly Stormwind City Guard meeting that Lady Ellen Varr Curtes is stepping down from her position as High Magistrate and will be succeeded by Lady Amlora Barrows. Lady Ellen Varr Curtes is, of course, known in Stormwind for her dutiful years as (High) Magistrate, as major contributor to the Stormwind City Book of Laws, and as owner of the Duskblade Company and the Pig and Whistle tavern. The decision to pass on the mantle of High Magistrate surprised a lot of people as this isn’t the first time she has taken the role and then stepped down again. In recent years, the High Magistrate mantle has been carried by various people, but none for a long time. Tebby Fiddlesworth caught up with Lady Varr Curtes in her own Pig and Whistle tavern to find out how and why. Lady Varr Curtes, earlier this week you announced you were stepping down as High Magistrate. Can you elaborate on your decision to do so? Not really announced, I just quit. Not something I announce. And I don't think I should comment publicly on my reasons. Why not? There were some professional differences between me and the other cogs in the wheels of justice. Other Magistrates, perhaps? No, not at all. I believe the role has passed to Amlora Barrows who I have full faith in and I know will do the job to the best of her abilities with the tools at her disposal. That was going to be my next question: why do you think Amlora Barrows will be a good High Magistrate? She’s thorough, listens to guidance and wishes to uphold the letter of the law which obviously is very important for being a magistrate. I believe that she will be firm and fair, that she won't allow the politics to get in the way of justice. Are you planning on staying on as a 'regular' magistrate, or are you quitting the law work entirely? Quitting it entirely. I have done the role on and off for about six years. I feel that I can no longer offer anything further. What will you be doing now that you’ve quit being a magistrate? Anything in particular you’re going to focus on? I plan to focus my energies into my business and my family. Your "business" meaning The Duskblade Company, or The Pig & Whistle? Both. Lady Ellen Varr Curtes’ answers, though carefully guarded and inoffensive, were kind and clear. Nothing less can be expected from a High Magistrate-turned-businesswoman, after all. I left The Pig & Whistle and went straight for one of the most important buildings in Stormwind City -- The City Hall, where lawyers defend the innocent and magistrates weigh the heavy decisions we’re all glad we don’t have to make -- to talk to the newly-appointed High Magistrate, Lady Amlora Barrows. Lady Barrows, thank you for your time. Congratulations on your promotion. How do you feel? Well, I would be lying to say I'm very happy with it. With miss Varr leaving, I've lost a valuable colleague. One who's personally trained me as well. Of course being the High Magistrate is quite nice. I get a new title and some more responsibilities. It's a hard job, but someone has to do it and fortunately the House of Nobles decided to let the decision fall on me. Lady Varr Curtes has a lot of faith in your ability to rule. Has she been a good mentor? Definitely. I am very grateful for her teaching and help. She knows the laws by heart and she's imparted the knowledge on me as best as she could. Is there anything you admire about her rule? Her tenacity when it came to the proper application of the Law. It's a shame that's the reason why she left. Without sounding improper, there were several trials by one guard that might have led her to making this decision. Trials led on from reports that were less than stellar. What is the first thing you’re going to be doing, as High Magistrate? Continue miss Varr's work into updating and redoing the Laws. I want to push through version six of our Lawbook. I have worked on a few laws, but most of the work has been miss Varr's. What do you think will set you apart from your predecessors? It will be difficult to be better than miss Varr, but the others… I will be more active, less... how to put it... nice? I am not above stating my opinion, even if it means hurting someone's feelings. Is that something you think your predecessors did too much of? Yes, too much dithering about in my opinion. Many of my predecessors stayed silent when they should've spoken up in my opinion, or did nothing at all. Any case in particular which comes to mind? You've followed the last one, I assume? The guard in charge of the file did a bad job of it all. Mishandled evidence, wrong charges, all the usual negative things. So that's something you vow to reduce? You're going to, if I can paraphrase, streamline the evidence/case system? It will be a lot of work, but yes. I hope to get a good new team together. That sounds like a good ambition to have. Would you like to add anything else, anything you'd like to say to the readers of the Stormwind City Messenger? Stay on the good side of the law, it makes my job easier. --==Also In The News==-- Stargazer’s Enchantments Magical Shop Reopening Wife of The Lady Grey and well-known socialite Sierra Grey will be reopening an old magic shop in the Mage District, near the Stockade. She plans to reopen the shop known as Stargazer's Enchantments, where she used to work as assistant shopkeep four years ago. The shop will be selling such things as magical artifacts, enchanting services and books about magic, but also novelty items like animated teddybears. Lady Grey hopes the shop will be able to open in a month’s time. Below is a coupon our readers can use for a small discount when purchasing an item at Stargazer’s Enchantment. [Stargazer's Enchantments Discount Coupon] Stormwind Notice Boards Renovated A recent investment by The Stormwind City Renovation Society has resulted in new and improved notice boards in the Dwarven District and Trade District, which were decrepit and unused for the longest time. The new ones are certainly an improvement, with new, strong wood and a fresh layer of paint. A new feature is a small enchantment that only allows the original posters of the notes to remove them. Citizens of Stormwind can use the notice board to look for jobs, offer services, report missing items and so on. Mysterious Yoghurt Brand Discontinued A popular brand of dairy products has been discontinued after many people complained about hearing voices in their heads telling them to buy more of the product, or to overthrow the world government and usher in a new era of darkness. When authorities went to investigate Yogg-urt Inc. HQ, they were only met with an empty, ruined hall reeking of spoilt milk and a note saying “Using a warlock seemed a good idea at the time.” Citizens are advised not to buy the remaining stock of the product, no matter how good the voices make it sound. They’re also advised to report to the Cathedral if indeed voices are heard that no-one else seems to hear.Tebby3 06 May
05 May [H-RP] Seneschal Sunday Socials Oops. We did it again. Every so often the allegedly senior members of the Seneschal Temple get themselves into a spot of legal trouble and end up paying off their debts with hard graft. For some reason this usually involves the service industry. Maybe we'd be better off packing this "mysterious brokers of knowledge and power" thing in and opening a restaurant... This time we might have blown up a small building in Dalaran and fallen in with a known criminal who dropped a giant flaming rock on the city last time he was here. We may have spent a few months on the run in Azsuna, trying to avoid the Kirin Tor, and getting entangled with a haunted library where our ancestors racked up MASSIVE late fees. Murlocs may worship one of our Forsaken members as a god-queen of crustaceankind. Steranus may have been (hush now) wrong about something. These things happen. Everything's fine. I'm sure Ariyel's always had that twitch in her left eye. Anyway, our loss is the community's gain: Seneschal social nights are back! We'll be running a tavern thang in Dalaran's own Filthy Animal, kicking off around 1900 server time on Sundays, unless there's some reason not to (like, you know, a patch or a new LFR wing or all of us coming down with the Sickness). That day, time and place again: Sundays at 1900 server time in The Filthy Animal, Dalaran, starting Sunday 16th April. Get hype. o.oNivienne7 05 May
28 Apr <Raven Knights> - 1/10 Mythic Casual Raiding Guild Currently Raven Knights are mainly looking for: Tank -DPS with interest in OS- Healer -DPS with interest in OS- DPS Melee OR Ranged DPS With the start of Mythic Nighthold, Raven Knights are currently looking for additional members to fill our Roster. Raiding spots are currently a regular raiding spot 2-3 nights per week. Who are Raven Knights We're one of the oldest raiding guilds on Earthen Ring, formed in 2005. Where others have fallen we have kept pushing. We started off 40m, switched to 25 when required, then in Cataclysm decided to shrink to 10m and have been raiding that size until the release of Mythic 20m. We still believe in a balance between raids being fun and enjoyable without being too hardcore, however we do acknowledge that the current game content requires a bit more than the casual play we used to expect from our members. While we attempt to keep a relaxed attitude, the content we attempt is difficult and needs a level of focus and commitment. You may be used to heroic groups who will scream and shout at the slightest mistake, expect 90% attendance and that are filled with teenage boys. That’s not us. We raid in a pretty civil fashion, we’re a diverse bunch and we more than appreciate that real life comes first. What are Raven Knights doing in Legion? Taking into account the guild’s progression through the recent tiers on heroic it’s a pretty safe bet that we will not be kept busy with the normal and heroic tiers in the longer term. We’re likely to blitz normal fairly quickly, then spend a chunk of time digesting heroic to gear ourselves up for the main target: Mythic. As these raids will be flexible in numbers we can avoid sit outs for a large proportion of our raiding, gear people up faster and also give opportunities to people who are time limited or just don’t really fancy the harder difficulty stuff. What does that mean for us? Well, we’re going to be recruiting. And we’re going to be trying to recruit decent players, although not sacrificing the social element so important to our guild. This inevitably means we’re going to get more people signed up to do raids this expansion than we have space for. Some of that need we can cover with the flexible system, but it’s going to be a transitional period and people are going to have to accept that sit outs are a necessary evil of recruiting more people. What do I do now? If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, have a read of our rules and the way we operate as a guild. You can find them on our website. The next step is to apply - don’t worry, it’s not a 14 page application form, but we hope you take the opportunity to actually tell us a bit about yourself. Raid times We raid 19:45 - 23:00 on: Wednesday Sunday Monday Website Raven Knights http://www.ravenknights.co.uk If you have any additional questions, please contact (ingame), one of following characters: Shev Saradír - Saradir#2274Saradír0 28 Apr
28 Apr [A-RP] Volunteer Guard Day As some of you know, this week is the Volunteer Guard Day mini-holiday. As such, the guard will be taking part. We'll be doing 'ride-alongs' patrols through the city. So, if anyone is interested in taking part, wearing an "Illusionary uniform" and see what it's like in the City Guard, we'd love to see you. 24 Apr Returning player looking for a friendly casual Guild Hello, I'm a returning vet player after quite a bit time and I've decided to play on Earthen Ring as it's a fairly low pop/RP server. I'm quite new to RP, so please keep that in mind. I usually play whenever I can, daily average probably around 2-5h. I don't mind raiding, but I have zero Legion Raid experience, I'm also just began leveling this character, which is my first and main on this realm. I'm looking for a friendly, casual guild where I could chat, spend some time together and learn some RP basics. I'm 27 years old and from Poland, just if you'd like to know ;) I'm mostly a PvP Player, but i PvE whenever I have to or my help is needed. Feel free to whisper me in game or send me an in-game mail.Leriss0 24 Apr
23 Apr MW LF guild on Horde (PvE) Hello there, I'm a MW willing to go horde and LF a RP server so if there is any PvE guild interested in a healer let me know, I got cutting edge Xavius and I have Ahead of the curve Gul'dan, I got some old Mythic experience too. Thanks.Vuyx0 23 Apr
22 Apr [A] Cloud Mountain - Recruiting DPS/Heals We're a group of experienced players formally spread across a few guilds who have been grouping together in recent months running Mythic+ (up to +10/11 currently), Karazhan, and Nighthold normal. We recently decided to formalise our troupe and have found a warm welcome in the Cloud Mountain guild. We’re currently pushing into Nighthold normal and are keen to move into Heroic; we're casual sociable players who love to take our fun seriously in a friendly but focused atmosphere. Now we'd like to include a few more good people to round out our team for Nighthold, and pushing M+ challenges. What we want; · A few DPS to flesh out our roster. · A Healer will also be considered to give a little more flexibility. · Players wanting to partake in raiding two nights a week, with at least one of the nights being on the weekend. (We’re based on the GMT time zone) What you need to bring: · Have at least ilvl 860 and 35 artifact traits. · Know how to press your buttons in the right order, and have some level of group content experience. · Bring your own flasks and buff food. · A basic raid addon is a must, such as DBM or BigWigs. · A willingness to, at a minimum, listen in on Voicechat. · Most importantly though, you need to have a good attitude, and a tolerance for bad jokes. We're a mature fun and decently skilled bunch of players, juggling the usual work/family/gaming balance. So while we don't have the time to play like we did back in the days of Molten Core, we love to make the most of the time we DO get, and we're always glad to welcome like minded players. So are you missing out on the MMO part of WoW and want friends instead of PuGs? Does your guild has a thinning roster and you aren't getting enough PVE content done to feel fulfilled? Then come hang out with us some evening and see if Cloud Mountain might be the right fit for you too! If you're looking to find out more, add j0ust#2541 or Angel#22391 to your battletag :)Talvander5 22 Apr
20 Apr Off to pastures new. This is for those players that reside on this realm that I have known since way back in vanilla on Earthen Ring. They know who they are which saves me having to name them all. I've decided to up sticks and move to another server (Outland EU) predominantly for raiding purposes as it is somewhat impossible these days on ER/DMF to raid at a good level given the paucity of players interested in heroic and beyond. I just want to offer up not only my goodbyes but more so my thanks to all the crazy wonderful people I have come across in my 12 years or so on Earthen Ring. It has been my privilege to have grouped up and raided with so many of you that have given me so many awesome memories to take away. The late night 5 mans to Dire Maul (at the time an awesome concept - Easy - medium and difficult with the tribute run), Stratholme & Scholomance, class raids in UBRS where I kind of got my first taste for raiding. The Warlocks of Raid Syndicate where in my opinion the best bunch you could ever wish to be a part of and I will state to this day we did not have a mafia loot system, we where just careful with our DKP unlike the Mages. Being able to raid with Lost Chapter especially in Naxxramas 40 man, Avitus, the best raid leader I ever had and Amethyst who set an example of how to truly be a "main tank". I still reference our first C'thun kill to this day and is the reason I keep raiding. To Valimar, when we held the mine despite the entire Hordes effort to take both of us down only to realise all too late that their efforts would be futile regardless of the fact it was 15 v 2. His tanking whilst sleeping has to get an honourable mention just because I know it haunts him to this day and likely led to Pappy cutting his foot and near bleeding to death but Leotheras went down anyway. To The True Flight and especially Kranna (Love you lots, always) for giving me a home for so long. To everyone else who has had either the fortune or misfortune of bumping into me, I tip my hat to you all, you brought the game alive.Demoniqué3 20 Apr

06 Apr The Stormwind City Messenger: Issue #9 --==GALORPHAR: MAN, MYTH OR MYSTERY?==-- For the past year and a few months, Stormwind City has been the stage for the cruel plot of a mysterious and dangerous man that goes by the name of Galorphar. Galorphar has been allegedly linked to kidnapping cases and is held responsible for such actions as the summoning of demons in the City and the practising of fel magic. In short, he is a warlock wreaking havoc upon the City and her civilians. It is hard to tell the facts from the myths and rumours that go hand-in-hand with such a mysterious criminal. There’s been talk about him being a demon, an ex-Defias, or even a dark alter-ego of some well-loved Stormwind personality. Tebby Fiddlesworth took to the streets to find out if she can separate the man from the myth. And who better to help than Knight-Commander Strorm Trueguard of The Silver Hand? The name 'Galorphar' has been whispered in relation to a lot of cases that have happened the past few months, and even the past year. From kidnappings, to fires, to assault charges... Can you elaborate who this 'Galorphar' person is? Until he became active again with the Legion invasion, I have only had brief encounters with him. As far as I know, he is a powerful warlock turned demon. So he had a hand in the invasions last summer? He acted during them, but I cannot say if he is part of the Burning Legion. Can you tell me what cases you remember that he was definitely involved in? Specific cases, hard to say. I recall him being involved in a variety of attacks involving summoned demons in the city a fair few times. I remember one time they spawned out of the Cathedral Square fountain. He had also taken a castle in Redridge for a base, manning it with demons. We managed to take it from him. Ah! So, he is dead? No. He only left an image of him behind when we arrived in the keep's great hall. He had fled. Currently I have not seen or heard anything about his whereabouts for months now. Do you have any idea what drives him to do the things he does? What is his motive? From what I could infer from his rants, he loves causing chaos and destruction. If he has any other underlying motive behind that, I do not know. You mentioned earlier he was a "warlock turned demon". Does this mean he is at least partially human? I cannot say if there is much human left at all. At most he resembles a human in form. Speaking of which: what does Galorphar actually look like? Black-haired and black-bearded man in demonic red robes and horns out of his head. I believe his mantle is covered in horns too. What should the citizens do if they -- Light forbid -- see someone matching that description? Alert the city guard first of all, then the Silver Hand. Do not engage. I've seen him attack with demonic claws, so even without visible weapons he is armed. And then there is fel magic as well, even more dangerous. Is there a pattern in his victims, or is everyone in danger? The attacks by summoned demons in the city has been a danger to all citizens in the area. But he has not made such an attack in months. So citizens need not fear for their lives, any longer? To be honest, there is always a risk of danger. For now, he is not doing anything here, but if he attacks again, we will do what we can to protect the people and prevent as much damage as possible. As said, we do not know where he currently is, but I have not heard of him doing anything in the city for quite a while. Are you confident that The Silver Hand will eventually be able to vanquish him? I have confidence in his inevitable end yes. The Silver Hand will do what it can to ensure that. Is there anything you'd like to say to the readers of the Stormwind City Messenger regarding Galorphar? Stay strong, keep faith, and believe in the defenders of this kingdom. The demon will meet its end. --==Also In The News==-- Serenity Nearly Lost, Again! Monday evening, the relatively calm night at Stormwind City Harbour was interrupted by shouts of panic and a column of smoke rising up from one of the ships docked there. The Stormwind City Guard were notified immediately and several Guards in uniform and civilian clothing showed up. A bucket chain was made without much delay and the Guard worked together effectively to douse the fire before it could spread to the rest of the ship and thus to more ships as a result. The Stormwind City Guard have a lead on the culprit. They would not tell me who or what but assured me it probably not Galorphar. Explosives In The Town Hall Tuesday night, there was much ruckus in the Cathedral District, near the Town Hall specifically. Witnesses report seeing the Guard in full force: most noteworthy was the presence of the Vanguard. The Vanguard are a division that carry shields and the heaviest armour the Guard has. Strangely, around the same time Commander Atlan was seen swinging through the window of a house in the infamous Cutthroat Alley. He would later tell me that the Guard had succeeded in stopping a man from detonating several explosives in the Town Hall. The man is now in custody and no further harm or damage was done. Additionally, the Commander would like to give special commendation to Sergeant Nimrook and Guardswoman Riddlespark for their actions that night. Entrance To Deeprun Tram Renewed Dwarven District resident Jenova Stoneshield can finally sleep at night. After months of complaining to City Council about the Deeprun Tram entrance, it will be given a touch of some much-needed oil. Stoneshield: “I live next to the entrance. Months ago, it started squeaking and it’s only gotten worse. Do you have any idea how exhausting it is to live next to a giant, squeaky cog that never stops turning?! What does that thing even do?!”Tebby6 06 Apr

Do you enjoy WoW but lead a busy real life that prevents you from being online during the more sociable hours? Are you fed up with other players who throw abuses at you for the slightest mistake you make? Do you feel that there’s more to WoW than simply rushing through content and gearing up as fast as possible? Do you feel alienated by other players who seem to look down on you for your lack of experience, gear, achievement, etc.? Ever questioned why a guild supposedly for “mature” players does not quite live up to its claim for maturity? Started playing WoW because it was recommended to you but put off by the fact that no one actually wants to play the game with you? Are you irritated/annoyed by Khadgar, especially the thankless and endless chores he asks you to do in Draenor? Returned to WoW after a break but finding it difficult to settle back in because things have changed too much and your friends have moved on? If you said ‘Yes’ to four or more of any combination of the foregoing questions, there is a chance that you will find a home amongst us at <The Silversong Order>. Founded in August 2015, we cater for older gamers who lead a busy life and cannot be online earlier during the more sociable hours, or simply cannot be online regularly or frequently. Most of us are in our 30s/40s, and most of us have returned to WoW after having taken a break. We all enjoy WoW in our own ways, but we share one common desire: to enjoy WoW together for what it is – a game, or more precisely, an activity which one engages in for amusement or as a pastime. We tend to be active later in the evening, and when we are not doing our own things, we try to organise trips to dungeons together. Whilst PvE is our main focus and we do have a desire to start raiding as a guild as and when the time comes, we are to all intents and purposes a social guild for casual players. For the time being, our immediate goal is to form a stable core of like-minded adventurers, with a view to progressing through Legion and other future expansions together. Our members hail from Earthen Ring and Darkmoon Faire, but we treat RP simply as a “spice” which enhances the immersive experience of WOW – a means to enjoyment, not an end in itself. As such, we do not actively engage in RP-specific events or organise RP events. If you are interested in joining us, or wish to learn more about us, then contact us in-game, or visit our forum at http://www.silversong.org/forum. 02 Apr New player looking for Guild Hi all, Basically i have been playing WoW for around about 2months now and have finally started progressing in the game by recently completing my first mythic+2 Dungeon and compling the LFR raids which is not much to a more seasoned player but to me is pretty big. So basically i am looking for a guild who can help me progress further with the end game content and genrally help me out as we go. I am currently in a guild but the roster has depleited to me my friend and his Girlfriend neither of which are too fussed about progressing. Maybe a long shot but hoping there is a guild who is willing to give me a chance. My main is an Dwarf Affliction Warlock iLvl864 on the Darkmoon Faire serverSpudnik1 02 Apr
28 Mar [A] Antimatter wants to raid with another guild Due to roster problems Antimatter is looking for another, mature, laidback, but still relatively skilled raiding guild to start a combined raidgroup with (not a merge). Our progress is currently 7/7H 3/3H 5/10H which we have achieved through an average of 5 hours a week (2 x 2.5 hour raids). The past couple of weeks we have been struggling to get enough people to show up for our raids, which is the reason I am posting this. Our current team consists mostly of players who have known each other for years know and and most have been one of the better raiders on this realm at some point in their wow career. So what we are looking for is a like-minded guild that wants to be flexible on attendance and wont have much raiding hours (2-3 hour raids, 2-3 per week) while still aiming for completing heroic raidcontent ahead of the curve. Interested? Please /w me in-game or leave a message here and I will try to contact you instead.Worgun1 28 Mar
25 Mar Let's make this realm great again. Look, I remember when I first came to this server, it was great. But that was a long time ago, as the ex-Horde scum Warchief once said "Times change" and here they really have- for the worse. We've got to stop our realm from going downhill any further- it's insane. Roleplay is at an all time low in both quality and quantity. PvP is laughable and PvE is beyond corrupt. I, Brodef, guildmaster of the most esteemed and respected guild on the server, best Shaman on the server and finally most charming man on the server, shall be highlighting the issues with this realm- and how we can make it great again. Roleplay Roleplay used to be the beas knees, it was great, but roleplay is something that not many people understand- it's niche, hence why only around 5 of the 50 or so servers we have over here actually cater to it. Due to its unpopularity, roleplay will always be attempted to be ruined by people who do not understand it, mostly from PvP servers or streamers, who almost take it as a sport to see how many roleplay events they can ruin. You see, back in the old days of our server, people would try to do this too, but they were incorporated, mocked even, to be made a fool out of, which would lead them to either 1) leave or 2) actually understand what roleplay is about. Now let me tell you something, these guys we have today in the Cathedral District, they've ruined this. Rather than incorporate, they ignore, which leads to frustration for all parties. I'm not just even talking about ignoring trolls, but I'm talking people who make a grammatical error, or spelling mistake, or perhaps just don't speak American that well. Elitism is unreal in PvE and PvP these days, there is no place for it in roleplay. It's one of the reason I made my guild, to cater to those shunned by the so called "elite". There's also the sheer lack of originality, or more, if anyone actually has an original idea, they are shunned. To "make it" as a roleplayer on Darkmoon Faire, I could make a guide in two seconds: 1) Roll a human 2) Find the most boring transmog ever. 3) Ride a horse. 4) Join a court/military/walkaroundanddonothingallday guild. THE FINAL SOLUTION: In retaliation to this ignorance and elitism, I propose all seriously good roleplayers relocate to my guilds headquarters of Goldshire, which is already home to some top quality roleplay. It's no wonder why Goldshire is one of the most popular places in the game- no ignorance here that's for sure. PvP PvP has never been on a focus on Darkmoon Faire and nobody is expecting everyone to be a Gladiator or Arena Master. In fact, many people on our fine realm have realized that instanced PvP is truly a joke and that the only form of PvP that actually matters is World PvP- so that's what I'll be focusing on here. There's only one issue with World PvP on Darkmoon Faire- the Alliance dominate it. I'm not even talking about minor domination, I mean we totally obliterate the Horde that it's not even funny. My guild (you should absolutely join it by the way) has destroyed Orgrimmar and Silvermoon so many times that we can't even be bothered going anymore. Goldshire is frequently attacked by rebels who dare oppose our might, but with my superior tactics are slaughtered almost instantly everytime. (I should also note too, that those who have a massive focus in the inferior instanced PvP almost never help out for this defense). THE FINAL SOLUTION: If you're new to this server and interested in World PvP, please, go Horde because we need some REAL opponents. As an American I know too well how bad monopolies of power are, so someone please give the Horde some love. PvE PvE guilds are beyond corrupt on this server. I won't name any names because I'm a nice guy, but Epoch has issues. I was walking in Stormwind one day just admiring the beautiful buildings when a guy from Epoch comes up to me and links me his mythic staff, then proceeds to laugh and say "nice ilvl nerd", I couldn't believe my eyes! I was on the verge of tears until a fine man from a rival guild known as Diffraction shooed him away and helped me regain my confidence, giving me tons of advice on gems and enchants. THE FINAL SOLUTION: It's guilds like Diffraction which give our realm a good name and help less experienced raiders truly progress. Big kudos to these guys, also, I should add they're boosting people in Heroic Archimonde for by far the cheapest price on the server so you should check them out. The people: Darkmoon Faire is special because of its unreliance on content. Whereas most servers die during a content draught, our server stays populated and reigns supreme. The reason is people, people don't play on Darkmoon Faire for our mythic progress or arena rating, it's for the people. Well let me tell you something, people aren't coming here anymore and it's for the same reason- the people. The population of our realm is a disgrace. Trolls pollute trade chat and lookingforgroup like its somesort of game, people are constantly sarcastic and a man can't ask a serious question without being humiliated. I am a bodybuilder in reality and applied to join the Darkmoon Faire Facebook Page- I was rejected because they couldn't believe I look like I do. It seems not only are they censoring 99% of what is posted, but now they're censoring people too. It's insane. THE FINAL SOLUTION: Join guilds like the Grove Street OGs and Diffraction for a great bunch of people and avoid the elitists and liberals. I also highly recommend avoiding the dictatorship known as the Darkmoon Faire Facebook Page. This post was incredibly long and it takes a truly "special" type of person to read it all, but if you have then congratulations, you are one of the few people who still cares about our fine server. Together, we will no longer remain the silent majority, in fact, we are the silent majority NO MORE! Let's make this realm great again. Brodef.Brodef4 25 Mar
24 Mar [A] Social/Casual Mature Raiding Guild Social/Casual Mature Raiding Guild ..... Okay I might have just lied about the mature part, at least in terms of the humour sometimes :p Do you like to play end game content with other players who like to laugh and have some good banter? Do you like a guild where the people are good, even if the humour is bad? Where the character of your guild mates is as colourful as their language. Where drama is about as welcome as a fart in a lift. Do you like feeling part of an actual community where someone is glad to see you login, and will take part in your achieve runs, help with trade skills or just cheer you on when you get those random obscure pet battle cheevs pop up in guild. Do you want to raid with people who know how to press their buttons and actually work as a team? Come say hi and hang out with us in Cloud Mountain! https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/17615101817Tanakia0 24 Mar

22 Mar [A] Nylaathria is recruiting for Mythic raids! Nylaathria on Earthen Ring / Darkmoon Faire is currently recruiting. We're a semi-hardcore guild - meaning we aim to kill things, but we do so whilst still attempting to have a somewhat relaxed atmosphere, having some fun & some laughs. We are 10/10N & 10/10H Nighthold and we've got spots open for most DPS classes (Ranged preferred), as well as 2 healing spots (any class). Our overall goal is the highest available content, and our current goal is recruiting more members to get back into mythic. We raid 3 times a week, Wednesday, Thursday & Monday 19:30 - 23:00 server time. Please poke me or any other raid member with any questions and/or visit our website at www.nylaathria.dk (all international). A bit about us: We're a bunch of fairly relaxed people, though serious when need be (killing). We've been around, and raiding, since the end of Wrath - so about 7 years once we hit August. We've also been running yearly guild meetings (all in Denmark so far) for the last 4 years - this summer included. And, to finish up, most of our current raiders are spread out in most of northern Europe - Denmark, England, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.Lysaria0 22 Mar
