Forum Guidelines - Please Read
Welcome to the World of Warcraft discussion forums! This forum is here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss all aspects of World of Warcraft with your fellow players. Community forums work best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy. Therefore, we ask that you take the time to read through the forum Code of Conduct before posting. Search The new search function at the top of the World of Warcraft community site is extremely robust. Please be sure to use it to look for similar topics, blog posts, or web pages that may contain the answer before creating your forum topic. Making a new thread on an existing subject will likely result in your thread being deleted. If you continue to repost it you're likely to have your posting privileges suspended for spamming. Worst of all, you'll be making the other forum goers upset that you didn't take a minute to search before posting. Rating The new rating system (http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/blog/930468) can be used to promote positive discussion, and demote unhelpful posts, or even report posts that violate the forum code of conduct. By hovering over a post you'll be presented with a thumbs up, and a thumbs down icon. Clicking the 'thumbs down' icon you can choose from a few options. Dislike will rate the comment down. If enough people dislike a post it will be darkened, or with a lot of dislikes it will be hidden. You can also quickly report a post as trolling or spam, or use the report function to fill out a more comprehensive description of the violation. You can only rate each post once. Use it wisely to help foster a positive and helpful forum community. Guidelines In addition to the Forum Code of Conduct (http://eu.battle.net/en/community/conduct), here are some common courtesy guidelines to follow to ensure these forums remain a constructive and friendly gathering place for the community. While these do technically fall within the bounds of the Code of Conduct, these cover more specific examples of common errors that will lead to thread deletions or posting privileges being revoked. The World of Warcraft forums are for discussion of topics directly related to World of Warcraft The forums here are specifically to discuss the game and related topics. Any topics not related to World of Warcraft, Battle.net or Blizzard are subject to deletion. Don't post in all capital letters, use a misleading title, excessive punctuation, non-standard symbols, etc. While everyone wants their posts read, we ask you to refrain from using these types of tactics in order to bring more people to your thread. Let your post stand on its own merit. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Using the words Blizzard, Blue, or any community team members name in a thread topic to gather attention is frowned upon Everyone would like Blizzard to read and acknowledge his or her post, and we understand that. However, use of such words in the topic does not help that come to pass. Please make your thread title relevant to the post subject. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Note that threads discussing e.g. the Blizzard authenticator or Blizzard’s latest press release are allowed to have Blizzard in the title as it’s then relevant to the discussion. Posting "First" or IBTL constitutes as spamming You will be suspended if you create a post that is intended to call out that you achieved a specific reply number in a thread. This is considered spamming. Posting IBTL (in before the lock) is not helpful and if you feel a thread should be moderated please use the rating button to do so. Posting TLDR or L2P constitutes as trolling Posting TLDR (Too Long, Didn’t Read) is saying you don’t care about a player’s post. Posting L2P (Learn to Play) mocks the player for their skill or experience level rather than provide constructive input on the post itself. Both are considered trolling and will lead to a suspension.2
[A] Cloud Mountain - Recruiting DPS/Heals
We're a group of experienced players formally spread across a few guilds who have been grouping together in recent months running Mythic+ (up to +10/11 currently), Karazhan, and Nighthold normal. We recently decided to formalise our troupe and have found a warm welcome in the Cloud Mountain guild. We’re currently pushing into Nighthold normal and are keen to move into Heroic; we're casual sociable players who love to take our fun seriously in a friendly but focused atmosphere. Now we'd like to include a few more good people to round out our team for Nighthold, and pushing M+ challenges. What we want; · A few DPS to flesh out our roster. · A Healer will also be considered to give a little more flexibility. · Players wanting to partake in raiding two nights a week, with at least one of the nights being on the weekend. (We’re based on the GMT time zone) What you need to bring: · Have at least ilvl 860 and 35 artifact traits. · Know how to press your buttons in the right order, and have some level of group content experience. · Bring your own flasks and buff food. · A basic raid addon is a must, such as DBM or BigWigs. · A willingness to, at a minimum, listen in on Voicechat. · Most importantly though, you need to have a good attitude, and a tolerance for bad jokes. We're a mature fun and decently skilled bunch of players, juggling the usual work/family/gaming balance. So while we don't have the time to play like we did back in the days of Molten Core, we love to make the most of the time we DO get, and we're always glad to welcome like minded players. So are you missing out on the MMO part of WoW and want friends instead of PuGs? Does your guild has a thinning roster and you aren't getting enough PVE content done to feel fulfilled? Then come hang out with us some evening and see if Cloud Mountain might be the right fit for you too! If you're looking to find out more, add j0ust#2541 or Angel#22391 to your battletag :)5
[A-RP] The Nightglaives: Chronicle of Adventures
... What is this thread? I am making this thread to keep a record of the Nightglaives' adventures throughout Azeroth, both for members of the guild and for anyone else wanting to keep up on what we're up to. If you are unfamiliar with what the Nightglaives are, I encourage you to read our original recruitment thread for an overview of the guild's concept: https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/17612923729 I'm always happy to have more RPers so consider this something of a recruitment thread as well! But wait, there's more! The thread will also serve to keep track of important in-character information, so that players who miss key events can catch up on what their characters should know about current events. This kind of information will include: Where we are currently stationed, and how (or if) your character can learn of our whereabouts if you have not recently travelled with us. The status of the camp we are staying in, and any important features beyond what you physically can see in the game world. The status of surrounding area, including amount and strength of any demonic activity, any other (known) threats, and anything else important that differs from how the game-world looks. Any information/rumours/reports your character should be aware of if they are hanging around the camp off-screen while you can't be online. All of the above should help keep a sense of consistency between characters whose players have varying schedules and can't always be around for RP, and help avoid situations where your character is unaware of something that they realistically should know about. Future Plans - An IC "noticeboard" to track our main objective(s) and any sub-objectives. ... - Stats maybe?! ... Finally, I encourage anyone who enjoys doing so to suggest any ideas they might have for fun or interesting events/mini-events (they don't always have to be serious demon-slaying missions!) that might make sense within the current IC climate. I also highly encourage people to be adventurous and just wander off and explore sometimes, so long as I am available to tell you what you might find. Improv DMing is something I enjoy and want to pratice. (You can of course go exploring even without me around, but that just means I won't be able to let you find treasures or stumble across hordes of demons wanting to kill you.) Lastly, I am always open to suggestions and ideas, and I especially like weaving personal moments for characters into my larger event plans. So if you want anything interesting to happen for your character and want my help in portraying that during an event, do get in touch! (This could be anything from "I want to use this cool weapon model, can I somehow find it during our adventures?" to "My character has this deep dark secret and I'd like for it to be revealed somehow.") The Story So Far... Keep reading below to learn of our recent adventures.10
Off to pastures new.
This is for those players that reside on this realm that I have known since way back in vanilla on Earthen Ring. They know who they are which saves me having to name them all. I've decided to up sticks and move to another server (Outland EU) predominantly for raiding purposes as it is somewhat impossible these days on ER/DMF to raid at a good level given the paucity of players interested in heroic and beyond. I just want to offer up not only my goodbyes but more so my thanks to all the crazy wonderful people I have come across in my 12 years or so on Earthen Ring. It has been my privilege to have grouped up and raided with so many of you that have given me so many awesome memories to take away. The late night 5 mans to Dire Maul (at the time an awesome concept - Easy - medium and difficult with the tribute run), Stratholme & Scholomance, class raids in UBRS where I kind of got my first taste for raiding. The Warlocks of Raid Syndicate where in my opinion the best bunch you could ever wish to be a part of and I will state to this day we did not have a mafia loot system, we where just careful with our DKP unlike the Mages. Being able to raid with Lost Chapter especially in Naxxramas 40 man, Avitus, the best raid leader I ever had and Amethyst who set an example of how to truly be a "main tank". I still reference our first C'thun kill to this day and is the reason I keep raiding. To Valimar, when we held the mine despite the entire Hordes effort to take both of us down only to realise all too late that their efforts would be futile regardless of the fact it was 15 v 2. His tanking whilst sleeping has to get an honourable mention just because I know it haunts him to this day and likely led to Pappy cutting his foot and near bleeding to death but Leotheras went down anyway. To The True Flight and especially Kranna (Love you lots, always) for giving me a home for so long. To everyone else who has had either the fortune or misfortune of bumping into me, I tip my hat to you all, you brought the game alive.3
[H-RP] Outrider Company Noticeboard
Taken from Roat’s original post, adjusted by Narkol, and adjusted again by yours truly. We are the wolves of war. Our howl marks their death. We ride for our horde, kill for our homeland, fight for our honour, and die for our cause. Our Company has protected the homelands from assault for decades. When you join our ranks, you join a family. A unit like no other. We are the Outriders. We are the howling reapers. The enemy thinks themselves safe behind their lines. We prove them wrong. Who are we? The Outrider Company is a Role-play guild that has been in and out of existence for some time. The idea was generated over a good few years between friends and has now become a reality. In Character, the Outrider Company is a unit devised by the Warchief to slip behind enemy lines and take out threats before they have the chance to mobilise. Notable missions include: Reinforcing Warlord Jangas' campaign in the Southern Barrens; The infamous Pandaria Campaign, which became our first act of the revolution; Rebel action across central Kalimdor, chiefly Ashenvale and Bilgewater, which climaxed with the pivotal victory in Bilgewater Harbour; Leading a redemption campaign for defeated Kor'kron, which ultimately uncovered and defeated a powerful enemy; Spearheading the assault on the Iron Horde in Draenor Who are we looking for? The Outrider Company is a close unit. Every member works in cooperation with the others. We are looking for members to fill all sorts of rolls within the company, with the only requirement being that you are the best at what you do. Soldiers capable of stealth warfare are prized, but we also need berserkers, snipers, sorcerers, and a nanny for the ridiculous number of children our female members are firing out. On an out of character basis, our primary objective is fun. That's really it. We go to great lengths to achieve it, but it can mean some seemingly weird standards come into place. Most notably, despite being Navy SEALS or the Spetznatz of the Horde, overpowered characters aren't welcome. Yeah, I know, it's stupid. Except, it isn't. Sure, we do a lot of crazy hijinks (our unofficial mantra is "we go on suicide missions and come back with prisoners"), but we do them well. People get injured, we get defeated as much as we win, and our fatality rate is punishing. We have wolf-iron relic armour, but we have absolutely zero plot armour. And, instead of ruining the roleplay with constant, inconvenient deaths, it just makes the victories so much sweeter. That pretty much sums up the attitude that the guild was made with. Fun is best when earned by realism, but too much realism sucks the fun out. What can we offer you? The Outrider Company has a lot to offer both IC and OOC. OOC, the Outrider Company is a group of friends, all sharing an interest in every aspect of WoW. We try our best to help our members level up. We do what we can to aid our own, and the rest of the LFRP community. Joining us means meeting people who were chosen for their friendliness, as well as their skill in roleplay. IC, the company works in two ways. You aid us, we aid you. Lodging for all members is available at the great Outrider Hall in Orgrimmar. It is equipped with its own kitchen, training grounds, and meeting rooms. The Company is directly funded by the Warchief. If the Outriders need better munitions, we will do our best to supply them. If the Outriders need a celebration party for completing that harrowing mission, you bet there will be cake! The Company has a lot to offer you. And we know there is a lot you can offer the Company. We are a unit. A family. This thread will be used for our Outriders to give feedback to the rest of the community, of our efforts, missions, and glories we achieve in this dark time of war. Questions asked, will be answered. Desires will be sated. And blood will be shed. (Editor's note: please do not murder anyone in this thread) This bit is important! If you skipped the boring stuff above here, I should let it be known that I am not the leader of this guild. That honour is held by Cave Sunrider. At a word she can throw anything that has been written here into the bin and replace it with something fresh and interesting. I don't know if we have any posters still standing around the cities, but after a seriously bloody track record, it's plausible just to have heard of us. To join, simply give me or Cave a shout in-game, or post on here! Stay tuned for news, updates, and notices relevant to Outriders and our friends, OOC and IC! We are the Outrider Company. We are the wolves of war. Let none stand in our way.91
[H-RP] Seneschal Sunday Socials
Oops. We did it again. Every so often the allegedly senior members of the Seneschal Temple get themselves into a spot of legal trouble and end up paying off their debts with hard graft. For some reason this usually involves the service industry. Maybe we'd be better off packing this "mysterious brokers of knowledge and power" thing in and opening a restaurant... This time we might have blown up a small building in Dalaran and fallen in with a known criminal who dropped a giant flaming rock on the city last time he was here. We may have spent a few months on the run in Azsuna, trying to avoid the Kirin Tor, and getting entangled with a haunted library where our ancestors racked up MASSIVE late fees. Murlocs may worship one of our Forsaken members as a god-queen of crustaceankind. Steranus may have been (hush now) wrong about something. These things happen. Everything's fine. I'm sure Ariyel's always had that twitch in her left eye. Anyway, our loss is the community's gain: Seneschal social nights are back! We'll be running a tavern thang in Dalaran's own Filthy Animal, kicking off around 1800 server time on Sundays, unless there's some reason not to (like, you know, a patch or a new LFR wing or all of us coming down with the Sickness). That day, time and place again: Sundays at 1800 server time in The Filthy Animal, Dalaran, starting Sunday 16th April. Get hype. o.o4
The Stormwind City Messenger: Issue #9
--==GALORPHAR: MAN, MYTH OR MYSTERY?==-- For the past year and a few months, Stormwind City has been the stage for the cruel plot of a mysterious and dangerous man that goes by the name of Galorphar. Galorphar has been allegedly linked to kidnapping cases and is held responsible for such actions as the summoning of demons in the City and the practising of fel magic. In short, he is a warlock wreaking havoc upon the City and her civilians. It is hard to tell the facts from the myths and rumours that go hand-in-hand with such a mysterious criminal. There’s been talk about him being a demon, an ex-Defias, or even a dark alter-ego of some well-loved Stormwind personality. Tebby Fiddlesworth took to the streets to find out if she can separate the man from the myth. And who better to help than Knight-Commander Strorm Trueguard of The Silver Hand? The name 'Galorphar' has been whispered in relation to a lot of cases that have happened the past few months, and even the past year. From kidnappings, to fires, to assault charges... Can you elaborate who this 'Galorphar' person is? Until he became active again with the Legion invasion, I have only had brief encounters with him. As far as I know, he is a powerful warlock turned demon. So he had a hand in the invasions last summer? He acted during them, but I cannot say if he is part of the Burning Legion. Can you tell me what cases you remember that he was definitely involved in? Specific cases, hard to say. I recall him being involved in a variety of attacks involving summoned demons in the city a fair few times. I remember one time they spawned out of the Cathedral Square fountain. He had also taken a castle in Redridge for a base, manning it with demons. We managed to take it from him. Ah! So, he is dead? No. He only left an image of him behind when we arrived in the keep's great hall. He had fled. Currently I have not seen or heard anything about his whereabouts for months now. Do you have any idea what drives him to do the things he does? What is his motive? From what I could infer from his rants, he loves causing chaos and destruction. If he has any other underlying motive behind that, I do not know. You mentioned earlier he was a "warlock turned demon". Does this mean he is at least partially human? I cannot say if there is much human left at all. At most he resembles a human in form. Speaking of which: what does Galorphar actually look like? Black-haired and black-bearded man in demonic red robes and horns out of his head. I believe his mantle is covered in horns too. What should the citizens do if they -- Light forbid -- see someone matching that description? Alert the city guard first of all, then the Silver Hand. Do not engage. I've seen him attack with demonic claws, so even without visible weapons he is armed. And then there is fel magic as well, even more dangerous. Is there a pattern in his victims, or is everyone in danger? The attacks by summoned demons in the city has been a danger to all citizens in the area. But he has not made such an attack in months. So citizens need not fear for their lives, any longer? To be honest, there is always a risk of danger. For now, he is not doing anything here, but if he attacks again, we will do what we can to protect the people and prevent as much damage as possible. As said, we do not know where he currently is, but I have not heard of him doing anything in the city for quite a while. Are you confident that The Silver Hand will eventually be able to vanquish him? I have confidence in his inevitable end yes. The Silver Hand will do what it can to ensure that. Is there anything you'd like to say to the readers of the Stormwind City Messenger regarding Galorphar? Stay strong, keep faith, and believe in the defenders of this kingdom. The demon will meet its end. --==Also In The News==-- Serenity Nearly Lost, Again! Monday evening, the relatively calm night at Stormwind City Harbour was interrupted by shouts of panic and a column of smoke rising up from one of the ships docked there. The Stormwind City Guard were notified immediately and several Guards in uniform and civilian clothing showed up. A bucket chain was made without much delay and the Guard worked together effectively to douse the fire before it could spread to the rest of the ship and thus to more ships as a result. The Stormwind City Guard have a lead on the culprit. They would not tell me who or what but assured me it probably not Galorphar. Explosives In The Town Hall Tuesday night, there was much ruckus in the Cathedral District, near the Town Hall specifically. Witnesses report seeing the Guard in full force: most noteworthy was the presence of the Vanguard. The Vanguard are a division that carry shields and the heaviest armour the Guard has. Strangely, around the same time Commander Atlan was seen swinging through the window of a house in the infamous Cutthroat Alley. He would later tell me that the Guard had succeeded in stopping a man from detonating several explosives in the Town Hall. The man is now in custody and no further harm or damage was done. Additionally, the Commander would like to give special commendation to Sergeant Nimrook and Guardswoman Riddlespark for their actions that night. Entrance To Deeprun Tram Renewed Dwarven District resident Jenova Stoneshield can finally sleep at night. After months of complaining to City Council about the Deeprun Tram entrance, it will be given a touch of some much-needed oil. Stoneshield: “I live next to the entrance. Months ago, it started squeaking and it’s only gotten worse. Do you have any idea how exhausting it is to live next to a giant, squeaky cog that never stops turning?! What does that thing even do?!”6
[H] The Silversong Order - in search of kindred souls
Sinu a'manore, fellow adventurers! Are you in your 30s, 40s, or even older in real life? Do you enjoy WoW but lead a busy real life that prevents you from being online during the more sociable hours? Are you fed up with other players who throw abuses at you for the slightest mistake you make? Do you feel that there’s more to WoW than simply rushing through content and gearing up as fast as possible? Do you feel alienated by other players who seem to look down on you for your lack of experience, gear, achievement, etc.? Ever questioned why a guild supposedly for “mature” players does not quite live up to its claim for maturity? Started playing WoW because it was recommended to you but put off by the fact that no one actually wants to play the game with you? Are you irritated/annoyed by Khadgar, especially the thankless and endless chores he asks you to do in Draenor? Returned to WoW after a break but finding it difficult to settle back in because things have changed too much and your friends have moved on? If you said ‘Yes’ to four or more of any combination of the foregoing questions, there is a chance that you will find a home amongst us at <The Silversong Order>. Founded in August 2015, we cater for older gamers who lead a busy life and cannot be online earlier during the more sociable hours, or simply cannot be online regularly or frequently. Most of us are in our 30s/40s, and most of us have returned to WoW after having taken a break. We all enjoy WoW in our own ways, but we share one common desire: to enjoy WoW together for what it is – a game, or more precisely, an activity which one engages in for amusement or as a pastime. We tend to be active later in the evening, and when we are not doing our own things, we try to organise trips to dungeons together. Whilst PvE is our main focus and we do have a desire to start raiding as a guild as and when the time comes, we are to all intents and purposes a social guild for casual players. For the time being, our immediate goal is to form a stable core of like-minded adventurers, with a view to progressing through Legion and other future expansions together. Our members hail from Earthen Ring and Darkmoon Faire, but we treat RP simply as a “spice” which enhances the immersive experience of WOW – a means to enjoyment, not an end in itself. As such, we do not actively engage in RP-specific events or organise RP events. If you are interested in joining us, or wish to learn more about us, then contact us in-game, or visit our forum at http://www.silversong.org/forum. Al diel shala - and may the gates of Quel'Thalas be open to you, always! Aerdrie Silversong Lady Argent of the Silversong Order39
[A-RP] A Call to Arms! The Stormeagle Vanguard!
A poster rests on a city wall, the visage of Lord Anduin Lothar sits upon it with the likes of the late King Varian Wrynn, Uther the Lightbringer, and other deceased heroes of the Alliance. Heavy, bold text beneath it exclaims- "WE NEED YOU, TO DEFEND OUR HONOUR, TO DEFEND YOUR HOME" Beneath it, in finer text, a longer message. "The Stormeagle Vanguard unit, of his majesty's 7th Standing Legion requires fresh faces to take the fight to all who threaten our ways. Do you have what it takes to fight for the Alliance? Report to Knight Champion Tyram Deolaras to learn more." And with the IC out of the way- here comes the OOC: Hello! Some of you may know me by a few other names, and a few other guilds. Cerainos of the Nightglaives, or Gralnok of the Outriders. I've been on the server for around five years now, mostly floating about, helping friends with their concepts; or sometimes being handed the reigns to guilds. In this case however, I have created the Stormeagle Vanguard with a few friends as a passion project. With all that rambling aside, onwards, to tell you of what awaits! HIGH ADVENTURE! One core goal to the guild is making use of Azeroth and the Lore to the fullest potential- to supply consistent, fierce enemies, fantastical settings and awe inspiring sights of magic. Events consisting of combat, puzzle solving, environmental hazards- and camaraderie. A NOBLE FEELING! When I think of a Warcraft human, I think of stoic and just champions, I think of nobility of a noble disposition. Of footmen, paladins, wizards and knightly valour. If the tone of Uther the Lightbringer is something you're fond of, I am to provide an environment for you! HOW TO GET IN TOUCH! Mail me, whisper me [Deolaras, Cerainos, Tuaitha, Daielle, Liandera], or poke any member of the guild for an OOC invite! IC recruitment will be arranged between I and whoever wishes to be a member, and will be fulfilled in as timely a manner as possible. Thanks for reading! I'll answer any questions in further posts, and will also use this thread as a notice board once the guild takes off.3
Let's make this realm great again.
Look, I remember when I first came to this server, it was great. But that was a long time ago, as the ex-Horde scum Warchief once said "Times change" and here they really have- for the worse. We've got to stop our realm from going downhill any further- it's insane. Roleplay is at an all time low in both quality and quantity. PvP is laughable and PvE is beyond corrupt. I, Brodef, guildmaster of the most esteemed and respected guild on the server, best Shaman on the server and finally most charming man on the server, shall be highlighting the issues with this realm- and how we can make it great again. Roleplay Roleplay used to be the beas knees, it was great, but roleplay is something that not many people understand- it's niche, hence why only around 5 of the 50 or so servers we have over here actually cater to it. Due to its unpopularity, roleplay will always be attempted to be ruined by people who do not understand it, mostly from PvP servers or streamers, who almost take it as a sport to see how many roleplay events they can ruin. You see, back in the old days of our server, people would try to do this too, but they were incorporated, mocked even, to be made a fool out of, which would lead them to either 1) leave or 2) actually understand what roleplay is about. Now let me tell you something, these guys we have today in the Cathedral District, they've ruined this. Rather than incorporate, they ignore, which leads to frustration for all parties. I'm not just even talking about ignoring trolls, but I'm talking people who make a grammatical error, or spelling mistake, or perhaps just don't speak American that well. Elitism is unreal in PvE and PvP these days, there is no place for it in roleplay. It's one of the reason I made my guild, to cater to those shunned by the so called "elite". There's also the sheer lack of originality, or more, if anyone actually has an original idea, they are shunned. To "make it" as a roleplayer on Darkmoon Faire, I could make a guide in two seconds: 1) Roll a human 2) Find the most boring transmog ever. 3) Ride a horse. 4) Join a court/military/walkaroundanddonothingallday guild. THE FINAL SOLUTION: In retaliation to this ignorance and elitism, I propose all seriously good roleplayers relocate to my guilds headquarters of Goldshire, which is already home to some top quality roleplay. It's no wonder why Goldshire is one of the most popular places in the game- no ignorance here that's for sure. PvP PvP has never been on a focus on Darkmoon Faire and nobody is expecting everyone to be a Gladiator or Arena Master. In fact, many people on our fine realm have realized that instanced PvP is truly a joke and that the only form of PvP that actually matters is World PvP- so that's what I'll be focusing on here. There's only one issue with World PvP on Darkmoon Faire- the Alliance dominate it. I'm not even talking about minor domination, I mean we totally obliterate the Horde that it's not even funny. My guild (you should absolutely join it by the way) has destroyed Orgrimmar and Silvermoon so many times that we can't even be bothered going anymore. Goldshire is frequently attacked by rebels who dare oppose our might, but with my superior tactics are slaughtered almost instantly everytime. (I should also note too, that those who have a massive focus in the inferior instanced PvP almost never help out for this defense). THE FINAL SOLUTION: If you're new to this server and interested in World PvP, please, go Horde because we need some REAL opponents. As an American I know too well how bad monopolies of power are, so someone please give the Horde some love. PvE PvE guilds are beyond corrupt on this server. I won't name any names because I'm a nice guy, but Epoch has issues. I was walking in Stormwind one day just admiring the beautiful buildings when a guy from Epoch comes up to me and links me his mythic staff, then proceeds to laugh and say "nice ilvl nerd", I couldn't believe my eyes! I was on the verge of tears until a fine man from a rival guild known as Diffraction shooed him away and helped me regain my confidence, giving me tons of advice on gems and enchants. THE FINAL SOLUTION: It's guilds like Diffraction which give our realm a good name and help less experienced raiders truly progress. Big kudos to these guys, also, I should add they're boosting people in Heroic Archimonde for by far the cheapest price on the server so you should check them out. The people: Darkmoon Faire is special because of its unreliance on content. Whereas most servers die during a content draught, our server stays populated and reigns supreme. The reason is people, people don't play on Darkmoon Faire for our mythic progress or arena rating, it's for the people. Well let me tell you something, people aren't coming here anymore and it's for the same reason- the people. The population of our realm is a disgrace. Trolls pollute trade chat and lookingforgroup like its somesort of game, people are constantly sarcastic and a man can't ask a serious question without being humiliated. I am a bodybuilder in reality and applied to join the Darkmoon Faire Facebook Page- I was rejected because they couldn't believe I look like I do. It seems not only are they censoring 99% of what is posted, but now they're censoring people too. It's insane. THE FINAL SOLUTION: Join guilds like the Grove Street OGs and Diffraction for a great bunch of people and avoid the elitists and liberals. I also highly recommend avoiding the dictatorship known as the Darkmoon Faire Facebook Page. This post was incredibly long and it takes a truly "special" type of person to read it all, but if you have then congratulations, you are one of the few people who still cares about our fine server. Together, we will no longer remain the silent majority, in fact, we are the silent majority NO MORE! Let's make this realm great again. Brodef.4
[A] Nylaathria is recruiting for Mythic raids!
Nylaathria on Earthen Ring / Darkmoon Faire is currently recruiting. We're a semi-hardcore guild - meaning we aim to kill things, but we do so whilst still attempting to have a somewhat relaxed atmosphere, having some fun & some laughs. We are 10/10N & 10/10H Nighthold and we've got spots open for most DPS classes (Ranged preferred), as well as 2 healing spots (any class). Our overall goal is the highest available content, and our current goal is recruiting more members to get back into mythic. We raid 3 times a week, Wednesday, Thursday & Monday 19:30 - 23:00 server time. Please poke me or any other raid member with any questions and/or visit our website at www.nylaathria.dk (all international). A bit about us: We're a bunch of fairly relaxed people, though serious when need be (killing). We've been around, and raiding, since the end of Wrath - so about 7 years once we hit August. We've also been running yearly guild meetings (all in Denmark so far) for the last 4 years - this summer included. And, to finish up, most of our current raiders are spread out in most of northern Europe - Denmark, England, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.0

[H] Sincerity is recruiting raiders
<Sincerity> [Earthen Ring/DarkmoonFaire (ER/DMF) - Horde] is a casual to semi-hardcore raiding guild welcoming players looking for a new home. A nice personality and attitude are the core values of a good raider in our eyes. The guild’s name is more than just a name: it’s what we stand for. We offer a unique, relaxed (and often rather humorous) raiding atmosphere where everyone is respected and welcomed. Having fun is still the most important aspect of raiding: the individual behind the computer screen matters, and if an issue arises (which can vary from a small argument to a lack of DPS) we do our very best to help you and sort it out. Our end goal is to have both normal and heroic raids completely cleared – after that, a few bosses on Mythic are icing on the cake, but clearing Mythic is not our goal. Outside of raiding, we spend a lot of time together in Mythic+ and general social activites on Discord. We expect you to be a friendly, social person who is respectful of others and is willing to help them. In short, your personal values have to align with those of the guild – we don’t support egocentrism, selfishness, elitism or rude behaviour in general. Joining every raid is not obligatory, but of course, the more the merrier. We are looking for capable DPS who fit the above description and are interested in joining us for Nighthold. We are looking for people to expand our Mythic roster. Our raidtimes are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 21:00 to 00:00 realmtime (CET). Interested or have any questions? Post a reply here or whisper me in-game (Sacrae, I may be on my alts Astrae or Noctae as well)!13

[H] 9/10HC Guild recruiting cross-realm
Good day, as the title suggests we -Moonshine Bunnies- are looking for raiders in all roles to complete our mythic raiding team. A little backstory of the core of the guild: We have raided together through the expansions, a very close knit group of friends who are experienced in running a guild and raiding at a high level. We had issues with our previous guild causing us to form a new guild. Expectations of you: Communicate. I cannot stress enough how important this is, above all else. Commit to our schedule. The raiding schedule is as follows; (CET) Wednesday 20:15-00:00 (farm night, no progression will take place) Monday 20:15-00:00 Sunday 20:15-00:00 You will have 100% attendance with few exceptions, which you will inform an officer in as much advance possible. Be completely prepared for every raid. This includes being on time (15 mins early), having all consumables and having knowledge of the fights. We are currently recruiting all roles and classes, but with a higher focus on ranged in terms of DPS, though EVERYONE will be trialed, and all exceptional players will be considered, regardless of your experience/ilvl. What you can expect from us: High quality raiding. This means very little downtime, a serious raiding environment, and little room for mistakes. A huge amount of activity outside of raids. This includes mythic+, Achievements, and other general shenanigans. RClootcouncil will be used to hand out loot. Your trial: A trial can take anywhere from one raid night to weeks. Based on your ilvl/experience you will be invited to the next 'appropriate' raid, whether this is farm or progress depends on you. If you are still here after the wall of text above, or you have simply scrolled down, the way to organise your trial is simple, add my battletag (Tymoa#2145) and contact me. I hope to speak to you soon.1
<Poetic Justice>[H][Tarren Mill] 3/10 M is recruiting.
Greetings, Poetic Justice is a guild that I guess would be regarded as a semi-hardcore guild. At the moment we have 7/7 M and 3/3 H 10/10 HC 3/10 M and are aiming to clear Mythic NH. Continuing into NH we are hoping to a have a really solid raiding team consisting of 25-27ish players . As the team currently is progressing on M NH we can't recruit someone who is lacking in gear or experience. If you apply as DPS we expect that you are able to pull 600k+ dps ST and have an AP rank above 50 at the very least. If you apply as healer we expect you to consistently pull above 500k hps. It's also worth noting that a spot in the raid team does not equal a spot in every raid. We are 100% dedicated towards progress and that mean swapping out player/classes to optimize the raid setup for any given boss we progress on. If you apply and expect to raid every (that we organise raid) night this is not the guild for you. Being able to take critic as well as playing your very, very best every night... that's what we are looking for. RIGHT NOW WE ARE RECRUITING HIGH PRIO: Spriest, Boomkin, Fury/Arms Warr MEDIUM: Any range dps and DH dps. LOW PRIO: Everything not mentioned above. Recruitment closed for: Tanks/Healers HOWEVER: Outstanding applicants will always be reviewed, regardless of spec/class. Our guild is fairly new (established in the Summer of 2016). The guild atmosphere and community is great - we are using Discord as our social network as well as our voicecom. Raid days: - Wednesday 20-23 ST - Sunday 20-23 ST - Monday 20-23 ST Who are you? You play the game because it is fun, but crave a challenge. You have a mic, not afraid to use it and speak English fluently. You are over 18, no exceptions. You always bring the best possible flask and pots for raid since you consider this a given. You invest time in researching your class so you can perform the very best possible. You play a lot of Mythic+ dungeons because we all know that every single piece of gear can't come from raiding. If this sounds like something, you are more than welcome to contact Jambox, Razzhor, Tunarius or Percívall in-game. My battletag is: Hugo#21650 (if you are another realm add me) I look forward to welcoming you to our team! Percívall Assistant Raid Leader0
[A-RP] Order of Forged Blades (Open mercenary RP guild)
Order of Forged Blades IC Message: ... OOC Message & Info: We will be recruiting every Friday from 9.00-10:00 PM Server time The recruitment will take place at the Slaughtered Lamb Inn, in the Mage District of Stormwind. We are still open to any more suggestions on how we could improve the guild. :) Our website is almost completed now, and we have put some valuable information on it, some of the information will only be shown to members e.g. headquarter's location (what fun is it if we don't have a little secrecy? ;) ) General Message: IC We are a newly founded and well-structured organisation of skilled and desirable mercenaries. To the outside world, the mercenary roots of the guild is known, yet the criminal side of it is unknown, hence the secrecy of the message and thorough examination of the character before the message is sent. We are looking for any character that is skilled at what they are to do, be it archery, use of daggers or use of spells. We are open to both people with a darker personality that would be accepting to commit from petty to more serious crimes as well as normal mercenary's who just wish to join a mercenary guild. Classes welcomed are :[/u] Death knights, Warlocks, Rogues, Warriors, Shadow Priests, Mages, Hunters. Classes in the 'maybe' list are: Druids, Monks, Shamans. (Whether these classes will be accepted will be determined on the character. Likewise; classes not listed here could possibly be considered however it would be heavily dependent on the character themselves. For example; a priest or paladin that has turned their back on the light wishing to take a darker path. Of course, characters such as this would have to be roleplayed at decent level, as with any other characters.) Initiation: Upon initiation, candidates are to swear an oath of secrecy due to the nature of the group. The oath is a spell that disables all members from attempting to communicate any information about the guild (E.g. Lose your voice if attempting to share the information vocally. We are open to any other suggestions/opinions if you believe you have a better idea on how the spell would prevent them from sharing the information.) Contact us in-game: To join or to ask any questions, you can contact us on; - Laevis-DarkmoonFaire, Atrux-DarkmoonFaire, Nóel-DarkmoonFaire - Verida-DarkmoonFaire, Varly-DarkmoonFaire - Alysae, Nala, Vanity (Káthryn-DarkmoonFaire) (Leave us a mail if we are not online. We love our alts ;D) Once you have contacted us, we will: - Have a short OOC interview to see if you fit the guild. (more like a casual chat) - Following us approving your character, we will set up a meeting place for an IC interview. More detailed information can be found our website http://order-of-the-lion.webs.com/ (formerly named 'order of the lion', we can't change the website domain so RIP in peace)11
[A] <AB> Nordic raiding guild recruiting on SIlvermoon!
PLEASE NOTE: We are looking for Nordic players only to come join us on Silvermoon. ABOUT: <Aurora Borealis> is a guild looking to do semi-hardcore raiding. We are a bunch of Norwegians that love playing together with all WoW have to offer. You have to understand Norwegian, however there is no requirement to speak it. Our endgame goal is to clear current content on Mythic difficulty. The guild has existed for about 8-9 years, and it's core have been playing together on and off ever since it was created. Come have fun while progressing content with us! RAIDS: Raids will be on Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday from 20:00 - 23:00. We will be doing alt runs or heroic clear for mains that still need the gear on Tuesdays. This basically means that you aren't required to sign for this raid unless you actually are in dire need of a drop on your main or you feel like gearing up an alt. RECRUITMENT: At this moment we are mainly in need of DPS to fulfill our future mythic roster. Currently in need of both melee and ranged DPS, however, all dedicated players and roles will be considered. We are lacking: *Hunters (Marksman / Survival) *Priests (Shadow) *Warriors (Fury / Arms) *Death Knight (Frost / Unholy) *Shaman (Enhancement) *Druid (Feral) *Monk (Windwalker) *Warlock *Rogue We expect all of our raiders to know their class well. It's your own responsibility to learn how to play your own class in the best way possible. This means that you also need to have a viable offspec. Or atleast be willing to learn to play an offspec for your class. REQUIREMENT: We understand that everyone have a life outside of wow and that different stuff can show up in real life, but we do require you to make it to atleast a 80% raid attendance. We expect all our raiders to come prepared to all raids they have signed for. Which basically means that you have to bring consumeables to raids, read up on tactics and mechanics for new raids, be focused throughout the raid and bring your A-game. Previous raid experience is preferred, although not a requirement. But we do require, as stated earlier, that you know your class well and to be the best you possibly can be. SOCIAL: We want a community more than anything else, to be a home for people to go to with clear and fair rules. Therefore we are also recruiting socials and PvP-ers, with little to no requirement other than being norwegian, or atleast understanding norwegian. CONTACT: For more information and further questions, please contact me, or one of my fellow officers and we'll have a talk. Liiland#2561 - Phillyberg, Discipline Priest Braxius#2171 - Eovina, Restoration Druid. Giefplox#2219 - Sylteskrevet, Protection Warrior. Best regards, Phillyberg0
[H] <Prophecy> is recruiting!
<Prophecy> is recruiting. Greetings, The short version: We are looking for some more players to join our raid team. Our regular raid evenings are Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays. Between 20:00 and 23:00 server time. Visit http://warcraft-prophecy.com for more info, or poke us in game. The long version: Prophecy was founded over a decade ago. Initially as a casual guild with no particular ambition other than being a nice place to call home. During the Burning Crusade, we started our first journey towards becoming a semi-hardcore 25-man raid guild. We did clear Mount Hyjal and Black Temple, but we did not manage to clear Sunwell Plateu. During Wrath of the Lich King, we managed to really take off as a raid team. Attaining a 3 digit world rank, which we managed to keep for most kills, until the Throne of Thunder tier in Mists of Pandaria, when we decided enough was enough, and went the way of the dodo. During the last few months of Warlords of Draenor, an expansion most of us more or less skipped, we awoke from our slumber. And we are now once again taking our first couple of steps forming up a new raid team. At the moment, we are mainly doing heroic mode (7/7h). The goal is to eventually tackle mythic mode, but we are not in a hurry to recruit just to have the numbers for it. For us, the number one priority is to be a solid team of like minded players, one that work well both socially and in terms of raid progress. We are specifically looking for players who want to really be a vital player in a team where everyone knows each others strength and weaknesses well, and all move in the same direction. (Ideally that would be forward.) We are at the moment very keen to have some more ranged DPS in, and a few more healers. But for us, the player is way more important than the class and role of a character. If you happen to be more than one person, a group of friends or a couple; we are more than happy to receive a group application. Not all need to be interested to join the raid team, we are also happy to have casual players who just want to join a nice, friendly guild. To apply, or to find out more about us, please visit http://warcraft-prophecy.com To find out more, you are of course more than welcome to poke me or any of us in-game. A couple of insights to how we want to raid: We like to mix things up. 100% focus for 3 hours, 3 days a week is just.... boring. So we will be quite messy from time to time, deliberately so. - We will chain pull trash recklessly, often risking an embarrassing wipe for a bit of extra speed. Forcing the whole team to play on their toes even during trash clearings. - When bosses start feeling a bit too easy, we will either try making them part of the chain pulling, or we will make up our own hard modes. But: - When we get to a boss we haven't killed yet, or are still struggling with : sit up straight, 100% focus, blink in unison, RL is a higher authority than king, country and even mommy! Although we do have some rules when it comes to signing up, showing up, bringing alts rather than mains, consumables and all that, our ultimate goal is to not have any because we don't need any. With players having the right mindset, we know from experience that this is absolutely possible! Does this raid style sound like something you would enjoy? Then we are probably a good match for you! Admittedly, we are not quite there yet to how we want to raid. But we will get there. Maybe you will play a key part getting us there!
