14 Feb 2014 Forum Guidelines - Please Read Welcome to the World of Warcraft discussion forums! This forum is here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss all aspects of World of Warcraft with your fellow players. Community forums work best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy. Therefore, we ask that you take the time to read through the forum Code of Conduct before posting. Search The new search function at the top of the World of Warcraft community site is extremely robust. Please be sure to use it to look for similar topics, blog posts, or web pages that may contain the answer before creating your forum topic. Making a new thread on an existing subject will likely result in your thread being deleted. If you continue to repost it you're likely to have your posting privileges suspended for spamming. Worst of all, you'll be making the other forum goers upset that you didn't take a minute to search before posting. Reporting You can quickly report a post as trolling or spam, or use the report function to fill out a more comprehensive description of the violation. You can only rate each post once. Use it wisely to help foster a positive and helpful forum community. Guidelines In addition to the Forum Code of Conduct (, here are some common courtesy guidelines to follow to ensure these forums remain a constructive and friendly gathering place for the community. While these do technically fall within the bounds of the Code of Conduct, these cover more specific examples of common errors that will lead to thread deletions or posting privileges being revoked. The World of Warcraft forums are for discussion of topics directly related to World of Warcraft The forums here are specifically to discuss the game and related topics. Any topics not related to World of Warcraft, or Blizzard are subject to deletion. Don't post in all capital letters, use a misleading title, excessive punctuation, non-standard symbols, etc. While everyone wants their posts read, we ask you to refrain from using these types of tactics in order to bring more people to your thread. Let your post stand on its own merit. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Using the words Blizzard, Blue, or any community team members name in a thread topic to gather attention is frowned upon Everyone would like Blizzard to read and acknowledge his or her post, and we understand that. However, use of such words in the topic does not help that come to pass. Please make your thread title relevant to the post subject. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Note that threads discussing e.g. the Blizzard authenticator or Blizzard’s latest press release are allowed to have Blizzard in the title as it’s then relevant to the discussion. Posting "First" or IBTL constitutes as spamming You will be suspended if you create a post that is intended to call out that you achieved a specific reply number in a thread. This is considered spamming. Posting IBTL (in before the lock) is not helpful and if you feel a thread should be moderated please use the rating button to do so. Posting TLDR or L2P constitutes as trolling Posting TLDR (Too Long, Didn’t Read) is saying you don’t care about a player’s post. Posting L2P (Learn to Play) mocks the player for their skill or experience level rather than provide constructive input on the post itself. Both are considered trolling and will lead to a suspension.Takralus2 14 Feb 2014
04 Nov [RP] The Roleplay Guild List. We did it! We got the list stickied to the top of the forum. Thanks for all the upvotes and sticky requests.. Greetings all! There's a lot of Roleplay Guilds floating around in the new Moonglade/TheSha'tar/SteamwheedleCartel connected realm! If you find yourself in this thread, chances are you'd like to know more about the guilds that make up this great Sha'glade Cartel community. I'll be around actively for years to come, so I'll do my best to keep this thread running! It's in the best interest of the community if people can manage to find their way to the guild that best suits their interests, after all. For new RPers seeking to join the community, I would also advise you to consider joining the following two channels if you are Horde (using /join <channelname>): RPSocial: The active channel where the RP community stays in touch to talk about anything. RPNetwork: The place just for finding and organizing RP. For the Alliance (I believe) the channel to join is: LookingForRP and/or OMGRP. I am not sure which one is most active at the moment. If you wish your guild added to the list, please submit the information in a structure sort of like this template, but feel free to add more, less, or different information as well: ... I know it's difficult, but please do keep the information short! This is the place for people to see which guilds are around and what they are about, but active recruitment is best kept to personal contact or in actual recruitment threads for your guild. :) I'll do my best to keep the info in here updated and poke around from time to time to see if guilds on the list are still operational. Feel free to post here whenever I should update your guild's info, such as when new officers get promoted or websites change. I do not have much contact with the Alliance. If someone wants to be the one to poke around there for active guilds to add to the thread, it would be welcome. Sha'glade Cartel Guilds! For fairness sake, I'll keep guild order alphabetical. For contacting these guilds, remember that sometimes you'll have to add -Moonglade, -TheSha'tar or -SteamwheedleCartel after a character name, depending on what server they are on. An easy way for you to see who is online in the guild you wish to contact is the "/who <Guild Name>" command. If I type /who Bloodroar Army, for example, I would get a list of all the people online in that (fictional) guild, so I can easily whisper them.Anroka44 04 Nov

You could be the person brightening our guildchat while we could be the people bringing you that memorable raidevening with lots of laughs. It's all about chemistry, none of that pug attitude like: “link achie”, “low DPS”, “ilvl not high enough” and such. Sound good? Wednesdays are our heroic runs and saturdays are our normal casual runs (feel free to bring alts and stuff to those) Here's the link to our website in case you want to apply: See you soon Bandit!Tiashka22 15h
1d Magic Tournament [H] - RP This server has seen quite a lot of tournaments through time. Where both magic but mostly fought with weapons. I think it's time for a pure magic tournament. Since it would be most fun with as many people as possible from the different guilds and solo rp'ers. It would probably be in a weekend, most like a Saturday, or Sunday. Since some guilds are still having an Argus/Legion campaign, I was thinking it could be soon, but not so soon people haven't finished their Campaigns. I was thinking 17'th February would be a good date. For the rules it would be the standard duel rules of: 3-4 hp. Defense/Attack rolls. Highest roll wins. But if both opponents would like to freestyle it, that would be fine too, as long as it don't take too long. As for the IC stuff. The Coven would be honoured to host it, as most of the Coven members and what is the Coven is about, is magic. and some magics would be prohibited to use against living or others. Such as Decaying magics, blood magic and fel. Though if it is a match between two warlocks using fel, it might be allowed, or two death knights and so on. Any magic attacks are not to be lethal or leave permanent damage. The arena would of course be protected by a barrier, so magic doesn't fly around and damages audience and buildings. If you think it's this is a good idea or have any suggestions, please post a comment. IC: Posters around the larger cities hangs on walls and notice boards: "Dear magic users, casters and students. I Evelyn Rosemary of the Coven will host a magic tournament, which means it is a tournament only for those who wield magic. We have been allowed to set up a strong barrier on the ground level of Undercity." There is a map at the end of the poster to show the location.Evelýnn4 1d

6d Casual Guild badly needs your DPS! :) Hi WoW-lovers. We're a casual guild - Legions Demise - who have a likeable if small raiding group, who currently plays Antorus Heroic every sunday and monday night at 20.00 realm time. The thing is, we don't nearly hit hard enough, so if you do, we would very much like to welcome you to our group and guild. It's is of course more than welcome, if you have a geared alternative spec also. We always use Discord. We are friendly, almost funny, actually kinda serious, have some flair, share a lot of boring and overlong stories from expansions from the past, and always wipe at least once to Antoran High Command. We're hoping to get a group of 15-20 raiders ready when BfA launches. Please write us, if you're interested. Also state your mains class, spec and ilvl. Some handles from the guild: Lomme #2927 Shota#2257 Nironimus #2674 Discord page: If you're quick, you can join us tonight, at 20.00 CET. Warmly Legions DemiseKheist0 6d
10 Feb [H-Rp] The Coven seeks members. Who are we? We are The Coven. We are a group authorized by the Undercity. We are magical researcher, seekers of artifacts for the Forsaken, and the Horde. The Coven have magical users some other groups might not approve, such as Warlocks and Death knights. We do say though, we are not evil, we just use different methods. You are not required to use magic though, we can also use none-magic users in the Coven. Here are the different ranks: Initiates, are those who are new and yet needs to prove themselves. Heart keepers, they are the healers and protectors of the Coven members, not to be udnerestimated though. Spellseekers, they are those who scry, research, find and know all things magical. Felseer, is Gravkra at the moment. He oversees all the others and is the one to discipline. Lady Heart, is the leader of the Coven, this is Evelyn Rosemary at the moment. Who are you? You are a roleplayer. New or veteran. We are under the wing of the Undercity, but we are not purely Forsaken. we take all kind of living in, as long as you are Horde. You can be needed to know a bit of lore, if not you can always ask. We do not actually take evil characters in, but characters with minor mental or shady personality traits are welcome. Keep and open mind OOC and be kind ^^ In short: we accept all Horde races and classes and are looking for mature RPers who are looking to find a new home up in Northrend with us! Brief History Founded by Lord Simili and Grand Master warlock Xorax Fenrox, the Coven started out years ago as a place for people with similar interests to gather and share knowledge. Though operating mainly from within the Undercity, it’s always been open to everyone in search of knowledge, no matter the race. After assisting in driving Garrosh’ Kor’kron out of the Undercity,The Coven has become a faction to be reckoned with within the Banshee Queen’s ranks. As a reward for their members’ assistance in Draenor, the Coven has received its own plot of land in Venomspite, Dragonblight, from which they will operates normally. The Coven has since made the are safe for its living members and is ready to welcome more of them into their ranks. and now Evelyn Rosemary has taken the reins and are leading the Coven to Argus, to help. How to apply? end Evelýnn-Moonglade or Gravkra-Moonglade an in game mail, we are quite often on those characters and we will try and whisper you if you are online or send a reply for an interveiw deal!Xontra14 10 Feb

09 Feb (H) Looking for a guild that does mythic+ I play any warlock spec, although I suck at demo, favourite is affliction. I'd like to join a guild that does a lot of mythic+ so I can gear up. I'm a pretty casual player but I'm not a bad player. I also like to casually play battlegrounds and arenas randomly. I'll keep an eye on this thread :) ThanksSzechera0 09 Feb
05 Feb [H] Returning player looking for a casual guild Hi folks, I'll start with a little bit about myself - I've been playing on and off since about 2005, mostly during Vanilla and TBC where I was able to make a little progress in the Sunwell before WoTLK was released. Unfortunately (or fortunately, whichever way you look at it) I no longer had the time to invest in the game at this point and decided to call it a day. I was blissfully unaware as a few expansions passed me by and then nostalgia got the better of me and here I am! What I'm looking for - First and foremost a friendly, sociable atmosphere! I still don't have all the time in the world but try to get on a few nights a week and would like to experience some of the new content at something more than LFR level. I'll be honest, I'm not too interested in RP. I play on an RP server because in my experience they tend to have the best communities. If you think I'd be a good fit for your guild then leave me a message here or in-game (Oski/Zep) and we can have a chat. :]Oski0 05 Feb
04 Feb LF social guild hey, so i just came back to the game and i really miss the social interaction of old WoW, which made the game feel less like a single player thing. i was wondering if there is any guild of maybe 10-15 members who actually talk to each other that would take me in? :D if not, i'd be up for making one, so if you're interested...Morrian0 04 Feb
01 Feb [H-RP] Convocation of Elrendar “Name me the largest lake in our great kingdom. Name me the stretch of purest water splitting our fair lands in twain. Name me the dividing line between the unrelenting chaos of southern Quel’thalas and the glorious majesty of the North: Elrendar.” – Sateal Emberheart, founding Archon of the Convocation "At its best, The Convocation should aim to be nothing less than what its name implies, a guide for our people to a prosperous destiny, unburdened by the past or wasteful dogma. King Dath'remar's only error was abdication, leaving the future in the hands of the unworthy. That is the same mistake we won't repeat." - Archon Sorlain Amaran ____________________________________________________________________ Having existed in one form or another since the fall of the Lich King, the Convocation of Elrendar has gone through tumultuous times, and changed much, with the one constant being its commitment to the benefit of the blood elf people. Following a stint in the Reliquary's service and service in the war effort on Draenor, the Convocation were implicated in treason following an ill-considered deal with a Magistrix in service to the Legion. Freed from incarceration to be deployed in the Warchief's Sylvanas service by a new Overseer, the Convocation's goals are unchanged. To stand stalwart in their support of the Horde, to assist in the efforts to beat back the demonic invasion of Azeroth and as always, push Sin'dorei interests in old territories and the new, To go about these goals the Convocation has recently reorganized into operating on a top-down system of command, prioritizing the individual contribution of its members and their skillsets while giving a chance for any to advance within its ranks. Lowest on its rungs are the initiates, undergoing a period of acclimatization before their blood oath to the Convocation is made. From there, they advance to members of the Praetorians, the defenders of the organisation's leaders and its interests, now fully inducted into the group. Closest to the ruling Archon are the Scions, the highest advisors of the group, who guide the group and who's skills and contributions shape operations both on and off the field, having command delegated to them depending on the needs of the mission undertaken. As executors of the Sin'dorei's interests at home and abroad, with a hostile bent towards the Alliance and the Legion both in the trying times following the Legion's return, the Convocation's missions vary from assignments on behalf of the Horde, to personal projects to advance their agenda to vendetta against past foes. The group is not above using connections of their members to find work, nor acting as mercenaries if needed. There are very few types of missions the Convocation rejects entirely, at least where the Horde is involved. The core calculus is whether the steps taken benefit the blood elf people and their place in the world foremost, and the organisation itself second. _________________________________________________________________ Legion has come, and the Convocation is there and with a new direction for the new expansion comes a revision of the old topic. As with before, In lieu of the usual info dump on all relevant subjects, I’ve opted to go for a little FAQ-esque list on who we are and what you should do if you’re interested in joining, updated to reflect the times. 1. Who are you and what do you do? The Convocation of Elrendar is a heavy RP guild primarily focused on Blood Elves, their moral ambiguity and their ties with the rest of the Horde. We’ve been around on the Sha’tar since late Wrath and through retooling we’ve stayed active for the majority of time across the years. In Legion, the Convocation currently works as an independent force on behalf of the Horde, tightly connected to both the new Warchief's Deathstalkers, but with connections, good or ill, stretching over many more organisations within both Quel’thalas and the Horde, leading the order across Azeroth and far from their home in the High Kingdom. 2. What can the Convocation offer me? While we’re primarily an RP guild, our strong OOC community almost always has someone around to tag along for retro raids and dungeons, though our attempts at organizing anything larger almost always end up with one desperate soul spamming RPSocial to get people who are actually geared to help out. First and foremost, we’re a roleplaying guild, with at least three events per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 19:30 realm time. Random RP tends to vary between those who avoid it and those who revel in it, but if you ask us, you’ll usually find someone willing to help you out when you’re bored. We usually keep in contact through Skype when out of the game, so though using it is not necessary, it’s heavily recommended if you want to stay in touch with the community (and keep up to date on all the recent in-jokes). 3. You sure talk about elves a lot, I want to join, but I’m not sure playing one is my cup of tea. Do I still have a chance? Yes, but it has its hangups. The reason we put so much emphasis on this is that the Convocation has, technically at least, always been a blood elf guild. However, we’ve always had one or two exceptions tagging along because certain characters mesh in or have very strong reasons for being part of it. If you want to join the Convocation on a non-Blood Elf, you will get the most out of it if you have a character who has strong ties to Quel’thalas or a reason to be heavily invested in their interests. The sole exception to this given Sylvanas's new role in Legion, Forsaken characters aligned with her would have a fairly easy time as assistant overseers to the Convocation. Opinions on the Horde races vary among the members and we’d be hard-pressed to accept an application for a character who doesn’t really have a reason to care about the Sin’dorei. Still, if you have a character who’s a fit, Blood Elf or no, we’ll try and find them a spot. 4. Why are you called the Convocation of Elrendar? Do you have anything to do with the Convocation of Silvermoon? The name is a show of the Convocation leadership's lofty ambitions, rarely matched by reality, to fill in the same role that the Council of Silvermoon once did, directing the High Kingdom to productive aims. To the latter question, yes and no – there’s no one in the Convocation with any ties to speak of with the previous Council, nor are they remotely similar in purpose or influence. The name is not accidental, the founding Archons declared its creation on the banks of the river Elrendar and they, as well as those who ended up replacing them, even now, through various political pushes, to obtain a similar level of influence as the old Convocation, most of which inevitably backfire. 5. I’m interested, but I don’t have much experience with the lore or with roleplaying. What are your requirements? From an OOC standpoint, we used to want our members to be at least level 20 (or 70 for Death Knights) when they join, but given the new focus on the Broken Isles, we're raising this requirement to level 100 for all classes. We’ll do our best to protect you when we’re in a higher level zone for RP, but it’s heartily recommended that you try and get your character to max level ASAP so we have full access to every are ain the game. The only addons required are TRP(2 or 3) or MRP, as they’re a staple of the realm. There aren't any OOC limitations on class either, though some may fit better than others. We want our members to have a good grasp on the English language. However if you have dyslexia or are still studying, we’ll take it in mind while reading your application, just let us know immediately. Likewise, because we rely overwhelmingly on established lore, it would be good if you know as much about it as possible. Wowpedia is a great source for this and the official roleplaying forums are full of guides. We’re less picky about roleplaying experience – even if you’re just starting out or have only played tabletop, we’ll give you all the help you can on your trial period to help you fit in. While this may seem overwhelming at first glance, all of that’s not something that’s too hard to catch up on with the right sources and we’ll be happy to guide you along the way. Provided you’re willing to learn and can take advice, you’ll be good before you know it. After all, we were all newbies at one point. 6. That all sounds very interesting, how can I join up and where do I go if I have any more questions? Back when Sha’tar was on its own and even after the merge with Moonglade, because of the small number of players we used to do our recruitment in-game. Now that the server has expanded, we now offer an alternative in the form of an application form on our guild website, but if you're at all interested in joining, all you need to do to start is to toss a message to anyone in the guild online and they'll patch you through to an officer to continue. When or before you sign up, please tell us on this thread or send a message to Sorlaín, Jovia/Elrodan, Viradri or Tale if you have any questions. These are also the people you should talk to if you have any further questions about the guild, or if you’re a GM who wants to run a cooperative event with us, which we’re of course also open to. Phew, that was a little lengthy - Thank you very much for reading and we hope to see you in-game or on one of the sites linked above! We wish you a lot of fun in the meantime, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to talk to any of us online!Sorlaín13 01 Feb
31 Jan [H-RP] Hand of the Titans is recruiting! The Hand of the Titans remains open to new roleplayers on Moonglade, Steamwheedle Cartel and The Sha'tar! We are a well-established guild with wide connections, with over 7 years of history. I’ll start a bit of an introduction of our motivations, before getting into how we’re set up and what you can expect from us. ----------------------------------------------- “We live in a world with great threats. Azeroth is in danger of corruption and destruction. The demonic hordes of the Burning Legion. The deep-seeded corruption and machinations of the Old Gods. Threats and forces in the world that would slay or enslave us. There once existed safeguards and guardians to shield us from the tides of darkness, but the safety of this world lies now in mortal hands. The need remains to stand ready and shield our people and our world from any threat. In this new age, the Hand of the Titans fights to remove what corruption lingers on this world, and secure a future for our people. To stand with the Hand now means to stand vigilant within the Horde, to deal with threats to the inhabitants of Azeroth, wherever they may emerge. For the Horde!" -Champion Anroka Scaleslicer. Update: “The Burning Legion, has been defeated! The war has taken a great toll on our world and its people, but the impossible has been accomplished. Much remains to be done in the wake of this conflict. Remnants of the demon invasion remain on Azeroth, and dark things have been growing unseen in the shadows. We have gained new allies, stories and scars. Now is the time to work on bringing safety back to our lands, and gather our strength for whatever threats the future holds.” ---------------------------------------------- How are we set up? We are a RP guild first and foremost. The order is led by Anroka, supported by a team of Officers. We have all eight guild bank tabs. Our guild chat is Out Of Character. Officers chat /o is open to all and used as In Character communication channel. We are loosely divided into four factions within the guild, based on the primary expertise of members. We are not a military order with very strict discipline, but we do have a command structure. We count many groups as allies and try to be an active part of the community. Roleplay-wise we are best described as an adventuring guild, with wide connections, and affiliations with many other factions. Primarily the Horde, but also many neutral ones. ... What can you expect from our guild? Out Of Character we are a connected and social group of friendly people. In Character we are a group united in loyalty, overlapping goals and usefulness to each other. We are a guild dedicated to offering RP in great varieties of genre, PvE, events, RP combat and social activities. We are well established, with an active player base. We often run old content. Overall, the goal is to provide a good environment for our players; a helpful basis from which to explore the aspects of the game, alone and as a group. While some of our events and storylines are within the guild alone, we strive to be connected with the rest of the server when we can; participating in, and sometimes running, server-wide events. ... What sort of members do we seek? We seek members who would like to RP, want to be part of an involved group of people and would enjoy the opportunity join a guild such as ours. We’re open to all races and classes, in principle. It’s all about how you handle your character. There are a million reasons why anyone might seek to join the Hand. Whether you are a powerful demonslayer, a scholar of history, a concerned grunt or magister, or a mercenary looking to make a buck fighting for a good cause, most will find they have goals overlapping with ours, especially in these times of conflict that threatens us all. Evil characters are allowed within our guild, especially if they are not open with such intentions, but if your usual activities include corrupting citizens in the streets or feasting on the souls of the innocent, our guild is not the place for you. Out of character, tolerance towards people of all genders/orientations/races, adherence to WoW guidelines, RP etiquette and decent grasp of the English language are appreciated. "i c4n haz Gild plox?"-people need not apply. Much knowledge of WoW lore isn't required, as long as you are adaptable and keep in mind that your fellow members and their storylines will involve it to a decent extent. If you would like some aid in working out your character, we would be happy to give you advice. Experienced roleplayers are always welcome, but those new to it are very welcome too. As long as you have the willingness to get learn, we are more than happy to support you. ... How do you join the guild? We are selective about who we let into our ranks. We like to be sure that people interested in joining us will fit well with our people, characters and guild aims. As said above; many will. In reading this thread you’ve taken the first step. The next step will be to arrange an IC interview. You can whisper Anroka, Gosa, Asperia, Caerule, Xyra, Arctius or Zajara(-Moonglade) to arrange an interview or encounter, so that we can see if ours is the guild for you. If I am not online, Nlaea can help you with information and helping me to get in touch with you later. Typing the command "/who Hand of the Titans" will give you a list of who of the guild is online. You can also post here if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, etc. This thread could likely use the bumping anyway. Extra info: We currently have a minimum level 20 requirement for various reasons, please keep this in mind. If you need help on your backstory or lore, we're always available for advice, and if you seek cooperation with our guild instead of membership, we're always open for that as well. Current events: We've had a lot of good times this expansion, with new challenges to face. The Hand of the Titans answered the call to the Broken Isles, campaigning throughout the lands. We joined the Armies of Legionfall Broken Shore, and aided the Legion's destruction on their own world. The war has left destruction in its wake, and dark threats have risen while the world had its eyes to the skies. In these days, we are joined with new allies, as we do our best to restore safety to our lands and people. With the long war and campaigns over, we are again free to choose where to seek our next interests, challenges and adventures. See you on Azeroth!Anroka70 31 Jan

28 Jan [RP-Campaign] Vengeance Accord: Argus Events The final wing of LFR for Antorus will soon open, which will remove Argus from the sky. And patch 7.3.5 will soon be here, with content that takes place after our victory on Argus. So the time for our Argus RP campaign is soon coming to an end. I would have preferred if there was more time left to do more things with the RP community. But even with some extra weeks to give everyone a chance to experience the raid's lore through LFR, time has become very limited. And unfortunately guilds have different availabilities, schedules, and things they still wish to run in these final weeks, that are hard to unify in a way that can be perfectly aligned :(. Nevertheless, I feel it would be a waste if that stopped us from running anyything at all. So I will be running three server events in the coming month, open for all the RP guilds of the Vengeance Accord, and other serious roleplayers that would like to take part. If that is you, consider yourself heartfully invited. And if others wish to do the same, I'd encourage that too. Light Harvest. Friday 12 Jan, 20:00. Starts: Krokuun Vindicaar. The Xenadar housed the Army of Light for untold millenia. A lot of artifacts, weapons, personal belongings and cultural items remain within. But two submerged Antean Light-Breaker demons keep it besieged with a stream of demons to prevent retrieval of these things. The Army of Light calls on your aid to finally remove the threat of these colossi, so that the belongings of their people may be salvaged. Rising Void. Tuesday 16 Jan, 20:00. Starts: Mac'Aree Vindicaar. The Army of the Light has been detecting a rising of void energies on Mac'Aree. It's reached a level where they want to drop a large team down near the heart of the problem, before it becomes an all-consuming threat. Those with the power and courage to take on this threat are encouraged to apply. Volunteers may request a Lightforged armor for this mission. All or Nothing. Sunday 28 Jan, 20:00. Starts: Antoran Wastes Vindicaar. The final siege of Antorus is under way. The Vindicaar will descend into Antorus, the Burning Throne, with the Army of Light and the greatest heroes of Azeroth. But this won't be the only action undertaken this day. With the Army of Light's focus on Antorus, the Legion may decide to give chase and force the Vindicaar into a dogfight with Legion vessels in the confined space of Antorus. It is imperative the local Legion shipyard is taken and held, to prevent the Legion from boarding their ships and pursuing the Vindicaar in its decent into the heart of Argus. With the success of this mission, we can ensure the Army of Light is not attacked from behind. ------------------------ This are the events I still hope to run before we say goodbye to Argus. If you can't make it on those days, that is unfortunate. If you can make it OOC, but not IC, or you prefer a different timeline of things for yourself or guild, you may still show up and consider it to be on a "loose timeline". Meaning, you envision it taking place on a different day. Hope to see you there!Anroka1 28 Jan
27 Jan [A] Mythic Antorus Team Hello good people of Moonglade / Steamwheedle Cartel / The Sha'tar! I am the making of starting up a mythic progression group for Antorus. 26 Jan [H-RP] The Beastmaw Warband Brand new recruitment trailer, thanks to Rocmar: ------ “We are predators.” Concept: The Beastmaw is a veteran pro-Horde military guild which has been on Steamwheedle Cartel since 2009, based on hunting and serving the Horde on the field of battle. The idea behind the guild is to have a group based on values such as honour and comradeship – between members and beasts alike. Therefore it seeks to gather a bunch of colourful, like-minded characters with the intention to prove themselves under the red banner of the Horde. The Beastmaw respects a number of traditions, both shamanistic and cultural. “We are a wolfpack.” Execution: When on duty, the Beastmaw operates in well-planned and organised missions. Traveling, setting up camps and thoroughly taking care of the supplies are all imperative elements of a successful mission. When the mission requires a lengthy journey, an expedition is organised as it is proper, to help the Warband survive the trip across the world. When off-duty, the Warband makes sure to honour various traditions: such as the Harvest Festival, when heroes of the Horde are paid tribute to; the Orcish om'riggor has been held for young orcs who wished to prove themselves to the Warband in the past. The Trial of the Hunt is a tradition crafted by the founders of the Beastmaw, for new members to prove themselves before earning their keep. Its practical application leads to a hunting mastery and the knowledge of beasts. Furthermore, the members of the Warband are bound by honour to watch each other's backs. Disputes are solved honourably in combat by the campfire, and never brought up again. “We are brothers.” Brief History: The Beastmaw began as a New Horde Orcish clan before expanding its frame into a Warband. Its first great achievement under the Horde banner was to spearhead a campaign across cold Northrend, as a part of the war effort against the Scourge. Following the Lich King's death, the Beastmaw reinforced Kargathia Keep against active Night Elf skirmishes. The following seasons led the Beastmaw to various places of conflict – Desolation Hold, Dustwallow Marsh, Uldum. When the land of Pandaria was unveiled, the warband was a part of the first wave of reinforcements to explore the Jade Forest. With the arrival of the Dominance Offensive, it established a base camp in Kun-Lai. The rebellion against Warchief Garrosh might have spelled doom for the Beastmaw, had it not been for its awareness and disapproval of Hellscream's recent actions. The conspiracy had not gone unnoticed, however, and after a failed assassination attempt by the Kor'kron, aiming to disband the Beastmaw, the warband added its banner to Vol'jin's forces. The seasons after the rebellion were spent in a journey after another. “We are warriors.” Organisation: The Beastmaw serves as a division within the Horde army. It is an independent unit, attached to a larger army under the command of a Warlord in times of conflict. It employs the structure of a Warband, which means that it operates in small numbers and with a rank hierarchy simple enough to understand. Its charge in the Horde army is to scout, tame beasts, and produce skilled hunters and riders – from which the Warband name and banner derive. The warband colours are expected to be worn during official events, and the uniform code requires a matching set of armour, but outside of such events that rule is not enforced. Being a hunter guild, when a new blood joins, so do their beast companions. Therefore, every member must take a good care of their beast – mount or otherwise - train it to assist in the transport of supplies, wounded, or in missions demanding it to carry a rider. Even then, the warband seeks to recruit more than hunters and warriors. Spellcasters have long justified their usefulness on the field of battle and outside of it; the same can be said for assassins and death knights; skilled healers have always been rare, and we are very much dependent on their salves and healing methods. Adapting to the nature of the warband simply comes over time. “We are Horde.” What is to be expected: A friendly, very casual atmosphere. The guild is quite open to people new to the game or to Roleplay in general, and we are always glad to help out with advice and guidance. The guild almost always follows a storyline, with context provided either by the on-going game story, or the other members. As far as the game story is concerned, the Beastmaw tries to stay true to it at all times. Events are held twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays - with the occasional random gathering inbetween. The sole focus of the guild is RP, but guild dungeon/old raid runs, scenarios, PvP and everything else gameplay-related has always been made possible when there is interest. Requirements: You need to be level 20 to apply for the guild (or 70 for Death Knights) and possess at least basic knowledge of the Warcraft lore (the level requirement is there simply due to activity issues, it has no impact on the RP whatsoever). Furthermore, at least a rough awareness of what the guild is about, as well as your character's reasons to join, would save everyone a lot of awkwardness at the start. Racially, the core of the guild consists of orcs, which is what shapes its theme and overall atmosphere. That said, all Horde races and classes are allowed to join, given they have a reason to (highlighting it on purpose, due to the idea of roleplaying a sub-race; Revantusk and Shatterspear trolls, for instance, are allowed to join because they are allied to the Horde, but we would be quite hostile to other tribes, such as the Amani). How to join: A simple whisper or a letter to Torakk, Tannaka, Ronto or Rocmar should be enough, be it OOC or otherwise, to arrange an interview followed by an IC meeting. The guild recruitment tool is helpful, but not really practically useful, so we prefer a letter rather than a guild request.  If approved to join, the recruit will undergo a few weeks as a New Blood, in which they are expected to earn their keep. 23 Jan Mors Principium Est 11/11HC - Looking for more members! About the guild: Mors Principium Est, located on The Sha'Tar/Moonglade/The Steamwheedle Cartel is built of mature and dedicated raiders from all parts of Europe. We are a fairly new guild, but we are slowly building our ranks towards mythic content. Most of our raiders are from Finland, so expect a bit of Finnish swearing and yelling on discord and guild chat. We try to keep tactics and communication during raiding in English. We are interested in raiders who know their class, know what they are doing, when to do it, and more importantly what not to do. We also expect players to learn from their mistakes and be able to take feedback, both positive and negative. We raid 3 days every week (Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 5PM-8PM servertime during progress), and we expect our raiders to have a good attendance but as we know it, real life can come in the way of it, and it’s completely understandable. Real life goes before World of Warcraft. We are currently seeking: DPS Healer with good DPS OS. Exceptional players with any spec or class are always considered. Final words What we can offer for you is a good and stable guild to be a part of. Our policy for Raiders and Socials in the guild is to be treated equally and fair, and also bring out things that would affect our guild both in negative and positive way. We also expect our members to represent the guild so we don’t look bad across all servers, meaning being polite to other players amongst World of Warcraft. We expect to hear from you either in-game Dassz#2971 or NasaSajosee#2881 for more conversation or via application: http://mpeguild.createaforum.comPlagueroot4 23 Jan

18 Jan [H] Honorbound 3/11M - LF shaman/monk healer ASAP Honorbound is a longstanding guild that has been around since vanilla. No matter what happens nobody is willing to give up on each other and the guild. Things have changed over time, but the the concept of why Honorbound was formed is still there. Having good progress is what we aim for without sacrificing the social, teaching, and exploring part of what a guild and WoW has to offer. We consider ourselves a semi-hardcore raiding guild with our 3-day schedule. Overtime is something we rarely do unless we know we can kill him with that famous last extra try. Our goal as a guild is to have fun and kill bosses! A joke, a silly mistake on a boss, we will all laugh with you about it. Still don't believe us? Well then go check out our "old" recruitment video at: Or if you like to hear a few things from our local radio station Syringe FM then you should click this: Our raiding schedule is: - Thursday: 20:00-23:00 (CEST)(realm time) - Sunday: 20:00-23:00 (CEST)(realm time) - Monday: 20:00-23:00 (CEST)(realm time) Recruiting: demon hunter medium druid (restoration) high hunter medium monk (healer) high priest (dd) high shaman (restoration) high warlock medium We are looking good monk/shaman dps with healing offspec! 02 Jan [RP-Campaign] Vengeance Accord: Reports & Stories After a meeting of 6 guilds Friday the 22nd, a new alliance has been forged! The Vengeance Accord. An OOC thread with information, news and updates are on its way, which I'll link here as soon as it's up. This thread is in addition to it, to get player characters involved IC in the Argus war effort. Here you can post your reports to allies or commanders, delve into the experiences of your character by sharing stories, share snippets from your diary entries or even plant rumors about things ongoing. The guilds involved in the Vengeance Accord have been given enchanted communication tomes to quickly get reports to each other, which will be posted here too. But everyone is encouraged to contribute. As a small disclaimer: If you mention other people's characters in your stories, reports or rumors, do make sure they are alright with it OOC! 16 Dec [H] Newblood Initiative - A Guild for Beginner RPers Hello reader! I am bad at making posts, so bear with me in this. The Newblood Initiative is a guild on the Moonglade/Sha'tar/Steamwheedle merged servers, with a main focus on casual Roleplaying for inexperienced players that want to try out roleplaying, while also learning about the lore and the basics needed to properly roleplay, experienced roleplayers wanting something more casual and less hardcore than most RP guilds out there offer, and just plain social RP for everyone. It will sort of work for as a hub for Roleplayers to meet and find things to do together, taking inspiration from groups that are usually NPC-based in MMOs like WoW. The main point of the guild will be to let players, new to roleplaying, get some experience with roleplaying, and also bring in veterans that want to roleplay in a more open enviroment that doesn't require their character to have trained with weapons or studied magic for 20+ years. The guild was, of sorts, made to mend the gaping wound that is roleplaying outside guilds on the servers. I know this sounds rather contradictory, seeing as this is a RP guild as well, but I will NOT have it as a requirement to be an actual member of the guild to do activities with us. Whether they are in other guilds or in no guild at all, all characters are welcome to join us for events, social RP or whatever else we happen to be doing. What will we be doing? Very good question. So far, a few ideas have been rummaging around my head. Quests/JobsEvery hero needs to start somewhere. By doing small jobs for the locals, they can gain the reputation they need to eventually become renowned Heroes. These are short events allowing small groups of 2-5 try RPing together, led by a Guide. TravelingWhile the Newblood main "office" will be located in Orgrimmar, events will be hosted in other locations as well, ranging from other major cities like Silvermoon and the Undercity, to smaller settlements in the Stonetalon, Lordaeon or Stranglethorn. Maybe we'll even take some trips up north eventually. Social GatheringsEven heroes need rest! Occasionally there might not be jobs to do. Or maybe there are just not enough people to do the jobs. In these situations, we'll stay around Orgrimmar (base of operations yet to be specificed) and chat with eachother. General social RP. Probably the best moments to make other people find us as well ^^ If this guild or the idea of getting some help with starting to Roleplay, feel free to send me, an Overseer or a Guide a message in-game, be it by whisper or in-game mail, or leave a reply in this post. I'll answer any questions when I get the chance to ^^Rhuan8 16 Dec

10 Dec [A] Dark Glare is recruiting! As some of you might know we've recently taken a short raid break to re-align guild goals and decide what to do with the future of the guild. Now we are in the process of bringing the guild back into raiding shape and getting back into Mythic raiding at earliest convenience but without taking any shortcuts on the way. We are looking mainly for tank and some ranged DPS. We are looking for two specific archetypes of people who would fit into the guild mentality: 1. You are a long term raider normal, heroic or mythic raider looking for a stable guild with long history in raiding content at highest level - and want to compete for realm firsts and finish content before the next raid tier is released. 2. You are a fresh raider or a person that hasn't raided Mythic yet but are very eager to give it a go. As a guild we have established a tutoring program for up and coming raiders to join us and help get you to higher quality by sharing the experiences and knowledge we've gathered over years of raiding - we help you and with it help ourselves reach the goals we want. If you are interested in hearing more you can check out our website or poke me ingame characters (Mercus on Alliance, or Pocket on Horde) or alternatively adding me to -> Mercus#2736Mercus0 10 Dec
06 Dec Thoughts on Heroic Antorus. Open discussion for people who might have some opinions on Heroic Antorus. Also could anyone link the balance changes that came for this week, I know Coven and Argus have both received buffs but I'm curious if there was any other changes.Zinjah0 06 Dec
01 Dec Project 60 Guilds on Moonglade? Hey, I'm very late to this party and unsure about whether this is still ongoing but I was interested in the Project 60 idea and heard that there was a guild here on Moonglade? I've no characters here so I thought that might be helpful too. I don't know if the P60 guilds just keep moving up to 70, 80 etc, but I did like the idea of it and staying at 60 tbh, if that's a thing. Apologies if I've got the wrong server/wrong end of the stick here, but if there's a guild then I'd like to know so that I could start a character :)Caoska4 01 Dec
28 Nov Alliance Roleplay Guilds Hey der mons... Yes, Alliance mons, ah be talkin' to you! Edit: As Arashicage pointed out. Steamwheedle Cartel had LookingforRP as a chat channel. I definitely recommend joining that, it seems to be the busiest. It's also increasingly busy on Alliance Side. We've been getting a lot of popularity of late. Alliance RP seems pretty hard to find, I fear the roleplay guild list is out of date. Whenever I'm on the Alliance, in channels like RPSocial, LFRP, OMGRP (Hate that name) and Darknest (I'm there strictly for the articles, I don't ERP. Sorry.) there are people asking "Where's all the Alliance RP? Does it still exist?" I often have to point them to Hand of the Titans or The Beastmaw Warband on Horde. This guild recruitment page hasn't been bumped in a while, and I didn't want to do it because people really dislike necroing. I do point people toward Dalathar, but I don't know if they message him, or if he even wants more people right now. This one too. And I often see them recruiting in trade chat. But I never see them running events or RPing. I typically point all Dwarves to Finna/Beyram. But I don't know if she's very active nowadays. So I ask you, Alliance, Get together, announce on the forums, stop being so reclusive, because that's why the RP is withering. Those two guilds are wonderful guilds. I've only been in one, The Mithril Guard used to be one of the last active RP guilds on the server. I think it deserves some attention! If everyone could /join RPSocial or /join LFRP. Or whichever channel you can all agree on, and you must all agree on one, because I know how that drama goes. Then maybe players who are new to the server won't be turned away from it. And old returning players won't be disappointed by the tragic death of their server. I will note here. The LFRP channel on horde seems to have a password on it. Set by who I do not know. But the active RP Channel on Horde is RPSocial. So if everyone could join that please. You won't find me there, but there are many fine RPers you will find there!Raemia7 28 Nov
26 Nov [N-RP] Crimson Sun Brigade The Crimson Sun Brigade is back in action! After a long OOC hiatus that allowed us time to live life and for memories to grow fond, we're looking back on the guild and saying "... Yeah, that was nice. Let's do it again!" Who Are We? The Crimson Sun Brigade (Steamwheedle Cartel/Argent Dawn) is a faction neutral paramilitary guild that do not care about the strife between the Horde and the Alliance. They have chosen to band together in the defence of Azeroth as opposed to risking the safety of its members by squabbling over old prejudices. Koranith Dawnfire commands over the whole operation which is primarily based in Fenris Keep and Dandred’s Fold. For the sake of making the paperwork a little more manageable, the brigade is divided into three branches: The First branch is led by Aeryndal Riverheart, focusing on humanitarian efforts around Azeroth. We can often be seen aiding civilians after battles and natural disasters. The Second branch is led by Eric Balston and has been given the nickname “Balston’s Braves.” We do most of the exciting stuff, going on adventures, contracted missions, et cetera. The Third branch is lead by Lanariel Belore'draco and focus on the arcane arts and all things magical in nature. We’ll often be found researching old tomes and artifacts, inspecting leylines, and doing the arcane heavy lifting around the brigade. NOTE: Just because an individual’s paperwork is filed under a certain branch does not mean one cannot interact with and aid another branch. An arcanist from the Third branch can accompany a squad primarily comprised of individuals from the Second branch out on missions. What Do We Do? As you can see from the above: a little bit of everything so long as it does not break our neutral status. Azeroth is our home. We will do what it takes to save it from anything that could possibly threaten it; from power hungry necromancers to mad scientists, from dark cults to the Legion itself, and everything in between. But while saving Azeroth is our primary goal, such things like finances can be a tricky! The Crimson Sun Brigade is and has always been primarily funded on others being able to hire us in nearly all matters aside from direct involvement with the Horde-Alliance war. We offer our blades, our spells, our craftsmanship - our time and effort for coin, which has given us the label of "mercenaries" and "sellswords." Flyers for The Crimson Sun Brigade can be seen posted around the capital cities of both factions, as well as the neutral goblin hubs like Booty Bay and Gadgetzan. They advertise our services and the opportunity to join our ranks. (If you are interested in hiring Crimson Sun Brigade or working alongside them during a campaign, please contact an Officer or member that can point you in the right direction!) Events! Firstly, roleplay is not restricted to events. If there are members online and you fancy doing something then just ask. The likelihood is that we will be interested in some random and organic roleplay from fishing together to campfire stories, etc., or even some of the more exciting stuff like treating a badly wounded patient landing at our doorstep. Events that have a plot and a DM will generally happen on Fridays at 20:00 server time. Depending on the current plot-line this can be almost anywhere on Azeroth! Occasionally the Crimson Sun Brigade will join in with the server-wide campaigns (from all four servers) hosted by other guilds, or even host our own depending on how brave the plot-writers feel. You will always be able to find out what we are currently doing because we will post updates on this thread regarding our activities! Can I Join? While we are not actively recruiting, nor will we be spamming the trade channel for such, we are welcoming of new members or returning members. The idea is to have fun! If you are interested you can send a whisper to an Officer or member who can point you in the right direction. The Crimson Sun Brigade is present on Steamwheedle Cartel (H), Moonglade (A), and Argent Dawn (H and A) and will be found working with all sorts of guilds and people or making our own plot/content. If you do not know all the in’s and out’s of lore, that is fine - we can help! If you are new to RP and you aren’t sure how to do things - we can help with that too! If you aren’t new and just want to broaden your horizons - we-- … Well, you probably see where I am going with this. The types of roles you are likely to find in the guild are as follows: Combat Oriented: - Melee combatant - Ranged combatant - Spellweavers - Medics Travel Oriented: - Scout - Messenger - Errand boy - Traders General Upkeep at the HQ: - Mundane Medic: from surgeon to field medic to simple nurse. - Holy/Shadow Healer: for critical healing of living/undead patients respectively. - Any profession worker or assistant (smith, leatherworker, tailor, scribe, carpenter, tinkerer). - Groundskeeper - Gardner - Guard - Provisioner: hunting, fishing, and gathering to help feed the brigade. NOTE: Individuals can cover more than one role! Such as a combat capable ranger, who is also a scout and helps as a provisioner when not assigned on a mission. Restrictions: Any race and class is welcome. Heck, we're founded by a trio of Death Knights with a couple of Warlocks in the higher ranks. Just don't be evil or rude or moonlight at 'Plagues R Us' or the likes. We're trying to save Azeroth, dammit! We have no level requirement and will provide some help with leveling, gearing and transmog hunts and we encourage members to help each other through dungeons and group quests, but we will not interrupt an event to do so. Roleplay comes first. We prefer quality RP over quantity and a good disposition IC and OC. If you vanish off the face of Azeroth for months at a time without a given reason, and especially in the early days of your career, you're likely to be removed from the roster. (Those removed for inactivity are welcome to re-apply, though!) We are a social guild of casual RP. All applying members must pass an IC interview. RP Roll System: We use a roll-emote combat system that we train all members to use for the sake of certain events. 25 Nov Message from Seers of War Greetings, I’m Taraldor (most call me Arthon), guildmaster of Seers of War. First and foremost want to thank you all for the congratulatory whispers we received yesterday for our Kil’jaeden kill. Very kind of you. This has been a very peculiar tier, one that affected many guilds across the game, not just in our servers. It has brought some frustration (there were some clear obstacles in raiding) that ends up killing motivation or worse - cause guilds to reach a breaking point. While I’m not originally from Moonglade, I’ve been here for some years. And the truth is, our servers are small. Some would say due to that fact it’s difficult to have visibility, to show what “little” we have to offer or we are capable of. However, don’t think that’s entirely true, because there’s something we have: a strong community. A community made by old faces that is well capable of welcoming and integrating new ones. We might not have as many options as bigger servers do, but people remain here for a reason. In the end, it doesn’t matter what kind of guild you are. Whether raiding, pvp centric or roleplaying guilds, whether horde or alliance. Whether you want to deal with the available activities in a relaxed or more serious way, it doesn’t matter. We all serve the same purpose. We all are what this community is made of and why in our eyes, we feel it’s the best one to be in. Do not lose motivation. Do not give up. Continue to offer what your guild does best, in the best possible way you see fit. Let’s keep the spark up of these three connected servers as we’ve been doing for years. Best of luck in Antorus! 23 Nov [A-RP] Guild - Redemptio Coronae Hello good people. Redemptio Coronae needs more doctors, guards and surgeons to keep up with the injuries coming in. A few researchers would also be nice. If you want to help bring healing to the peoples of Azeroth and the Draenors, seek out Nouala or Kiva. You can also reach us through the Alliance Mail Service where available. Patients are recieved whether you suffer from battle-injuries, diseases or other ailments ((see Additional Info)) OOC Who are we?: Redemptio Coronae is a medically themed guild based around open (free) hospitals in both Stormwind and Darnassus as well as our doctors travelling the worlds to help where needed. Redemptio Coronae was started by Nouala Ravenwind and Blueleaff Moonsong as a response to the lack of qualified doctors due to most of the Alliance doctors serving at the battlefronts. The doctors of Redemptio Coronae try to fill that need by bringing healing to the peoples. Redemptio Coronae also has a corps of guards to safeguard the doctors as they work. How to join: Contact Nouala, Kiva or Dunnar in-game via mail or whisper. If you are on Sha'tar or Moonglade, you may still need to add "-SteamwheedleCartel" after either name to be able to add as a friend or send mail. All applicants will have to complete a small trial. The trial will take place In Character, and will be in the form of a mock consultation. Two of the senior members will participate. One of them playing a patient. It is then the job of the applicant to explain to the examiner what he/she would do to cure the patient. (This test obviously only applies to doctors, guards have their own interview process.) All levels*, classes and races except Death Knights (in rare cases an exception to this rule can be made, but don't count on it) can join. *We do encourage members to get some levels under their belt. Doctors can be called out to any location after all. Recruitment is currently: Open Additional info: Although we're open to most, we would ask that anybody wishing to join have an understanding of the current story and lore of Warcraft, and also a willingness to have fun and enjoy the world as a whole. Patients are of course, also needed. You do, of course, not need to be in the guild to be a patient. For admission contact a guild member in-game. ICly the hospitals can be found in Stormwind in the Cathedral of Light (the room with the First Aid healer - appropriately enough) and in Darnassus in the outbuilding on the left side of the Temple of the Moon. 21 Nov Merging with Connected Earthen Ring Does anyone else feel like we should be one big RP connected realm (with the exeption of Ardent Dawn) like RP-PVP is now? According to we are two of the lowest populated realms, connected at that. If we merged we still would have a lower population than Argent Dawn and connected Defias Brotherhood have. With the situation that many raiding Guilds are having, a larger player poll would be benificial and having more people all around would be nice for us more causal players as well - it is a MMO after all. With my suggesion realised we would have around 9000-10 000 active players which I think is reasonable. I hope Blizzard will consider this, but what do You Guys think? PS. By merge I mean further connect the 5 RP realms.Nathaniel55 21 Nov
21 Nov Horde roleplay on Steemwheedle while leveling up? Hello there! I made this undead warlock on Steemwheedle cartel and was hoping to spot a little roleplaying while I am leveling up. I have not roleplayed myself in wow, but I would like to see what it is about. At first I had hoped to see some others roleplaying and I was hoping for advise on where to og for a greater chance for it. Ogrimmar? The choice for undead warlock for myself is that I really enjoy to play Warlock. For roleplay this would NOT be a "uber powerful" character. I had thought this character as a former human mage student who was researching a bit in the "forbidden arts". She died in some non-heroic and non-impressive way (a bad flu, cold or something). Somehow the forsaken got ahold of her body and rose her. She discovered that the dark arts came very easy to her after her "change". She is focusing heavy on affliction as she has a theory that draining large amounts of life energy will keep her own body from beginning to decay. Her name was once "Missy" but she renamed herself to "Missery" as she has full memory of her old life, her familly and friends but they would now see her as a monster. Although life now is a big missery, she has a kind of life - or rather UNlife and she has no choice but to seek the company of those who want it. For now the closest thing she has to a "friend" is her imp, and he is forced into servitude.Missery3 21 Nov

18 Nov BfA Allied Races: Vulpera (potential) I am one of those people who just had to squee in delight and want when i saw this little wonderful thing pop up in the trailer: and then later we were blessed with: Now with Blizzards new concept of Allied Races there is a hope these wonderful little things could end up playable, we know from Blizzcon (spoilers ahead) that the Horde will befriend these 'Vulpera' on one of their continents, which more than likely means if they become playable one day that they might join the Horde. Regardless id like to know peoples view, opinion, thoughts, theories on this. See how much of a desire there is for people to want to be able to play as these fluffy little fennec fox people.Ihynlia15 18 Nov
15 Nov [A] Sufficiently Adequate - 9/9H ToS Recruiting Sufficiently Adequate is currently recruiting. We're a small, close-knit guild of experienced players who are seeking new members to bolster our raid team. Raiding Our raiding times are Thursday/Saturday/Monday, at 20.00-23.00 server time. We're currently 9/9 ToS Heroic, and looking to both strengthen and fill out the team going into Antorus. Due to our small size, we don’t have any plans to raid mythic. About Us SA was formed at the beginning of Warlords of Draenor, although as a group we've been playing together since early MOP. We're a small community who prefer the journey to the destination, more interested in getting together and having fun than necessarily making great progress. Fortunately, as a group of veteran raiders mostly from Vanilla/TBC, we tend to make progress anyway, despite our best efforts. While not as active in game as other guilds, we act as a general community outside of WoW as well - chatting and playing together on a few other games as well. We're all adults – in age, anyway - and we all have strange senses of humour. We're alright, hence the name. What We're Looking For * Yourself and Discord. * Reliability – due to our small raid size, we ideally need people who can make it to most of our raids. * Any class/role - we're currently strapped for a tank and healer, but the large amounts of alts we have means that we can generally shuffle around if we need to. If you're interested, contact one of us in game, or find us on our Discord channel: Thanks for taking the time to read :)Glorim0 15 Nov

10 Nov WTB or WTT: Ravenwood Bow Hullo! I am looking for a Ravenwood Bow, a former low-drop-chance bow from Fenros in Duskwood. Fenros doesn't seem to drop it anymore (or just ridiculously rarely), but they were popping out of Salvage Crates in WoD when those were dropping greens, so perhaps someone has one banked somewhere... I'm willing to pay fair gold for it, or trade for some other rare items I have. Please let me know if you've seen this bow lurking around somewhere. Thanks! Ol' HazuHazu0 10 Nov

08 Nov Newbie RPer Guild Idea Hi there, reader o/ (This has also been posted in the RP forums, as I felt I could reach out to more people with my idea by doing so) I haven't really thought much about to write in here, so I'll just get straight to the point. (Just wanna point out that I speak in terms of Horde point-of-view, but afaik, Alliance side on the servers is seeing much of what I'm about to talk about either.) (late) EDIT: I have chosen to go through with this idea and see what happens. I'll make a new thread with more details and a hopefully more attractive thread name at some point during the weekend, both here and in the server forums. > < I've been playing on Moonglade(/Steamwheedle/Sha'tar) for years now. This is where I started RPing and where I've stayed thanks to a lot of great people. But sadly, as I suppose does happen (I'm even assuming AD had this problem at times), this realm doesn't have a lot of RP going on anymore (before any fellow RPers gets the noose, think about it. You know I'm right), other than in closed guild environments or during long-planned realm-wide events that happen... maybe 3-4 times a year? Casual, social RP in-between assigned guild days are pretty much non existent at this point, and trying to RP on alts that aren't in a guild or just low level is hard. It doesn't get much easier when you do try and people end up ignoring your character entirely because you're not part of their group (yes, this does happen). This makes it hard for new people to get into the community, and they rather move to AD or maybe just go to non-RP servers and do, you know, other stuff. This also mean that, at least in my case, most "new" people I do meet turn out to just be alts of people I've already known for a while. This sort of makes me sad, as it just shows how small and shut-in the community on these servers are... So what I want to try, is making it easier for new people, be it people who are new to the game in general or people who are just new to RPing, to take contact through IC channels and get to know the community a bit before joining any specific existing guild. That was really a lot more than I wanted to put in, and also probably not making much sense to most of you, but anyway, I want to try to change this somehow, and thus I share with you all an idea of mine in hopes of people maybe wanting to come over and help the servers grow again. Guild Idea Most guilds out there tend to be focused on doing this or that, often in heroic proportions and/or in reaction to recent events. But most heroes do not start out by slaying leaders of armies, world-threatening Dragons, massive elemental lords and everything in between on their first day of adventure. Heroes tend to have humble beginnings, starting out by getting reputation with communities, dealing with bounties and the like. My idea is pretty much based on groups that, in MMO terms, tend to be NPC-based, like the class guilds in FFXIV or, say, the priests of Northshire Abbey to get closer to home. An Adventurer's Guild for casual and new RPers, maybe even some Veterans' alts, aiding in the making of heroes, having "offices" located in one, or maybe more if we grow large enough, of the cities of Azeroth, where people can come pick up "quests" (this might actually even be doable for people using Total RP), get tips or just hang out and be social with other newbie adventurers. In OOC terms, this could be used to help new RPers get some experience before venturing out with the veterans without feeling too overwhelmed by the game's lore (as I personally have experienced being a very common cause for people to stop RPing after a short while) and other players' expectations to their characters. It could also help them make a somewhat decent start to their characters' backgrounds, skills, etc. In general terms, just making the process of starting an RP experience easier. So, last point of this thread. IF a guild like this did exist and worked properly, do you think it would bring in more people to a pretty much close, shut-in community. Maybe even make said community more open? I really just want to hear what people think of the idea before I go fully serious and go through with it...Rogarth3 08 Nov
08 Nov A The Defenders of Azeroth are recruiting Hello everyone! The Defenders of Azeroth were called into life at the beginning of WoD to offer like-minded people a new home on Moonglade, The Sha'tar and Steamwheedle Cartel. Who are we and what is "like-minded"? I was looking for a place where we can find well-spoken people, who want to raid with individuals who neither have to nor want to adhere to a strict raiding schedule. Most of us have day jobs or attend university, and "real life" always comes before WoW. We see this as a great opportunity to create a community where our members can flourish in a safe setting (verbally non-abusive like in LFR) and experience the thrill of conquering new content. We are a guild with a focus on the following -A mature, easy-going attitude -Later on in the expansion, raiding for people who want to do something more than LFR We are currently recruiting all classes. What we offer: -A nice, friendly community with members who have strong command of the English language -A raiding officer who shall help out with class specific questions as well as teaching dungeon and raid tactics if needed What we expect: -Treat other guild members with the same respect that you expect of them -Be over 18 years of age If you are interested in becoming one of the Defenders of Azeroth, you can contact the following people on Moonglade: Vyune-Moonglade, Lythya-The Sha'tar or Rathollo-Moonglade. Thanks for reading and all the best to you!Vyune1 08 Nov
07 Nov JOIN <Voice of Darkness> TEAMSPEAK 3 SERVER FOR FREE. Hello all I am Zaidain, Guild Master of the guild Voice of Darkness (V.O.D). We have a huge (50,000 slot), privately hosted Teamspeak3 server. The server is up 24/7 and we are giving people the chance to use it to make friends and play some games with each other. We are also giving guilds who have no way of chatting to guild members the chance to have their own guild room created on the server. All you need to do is join the server and PM myself with your requirements. Server details: ADDRESS: PASSWORD: zaiowns Now there are a few rules 1,We don't want people going out and posting the details of the server on other websites. Please keep in mind the details have been posted here for Moonglade and it's connected realms only. 2, We do not allow the talk of anything that breaks the law. 3, Guilds who request rooms and then do not use them will have them deleted. We know that Blizzard have their own voice chat coming soon but we wanted to get people together on a bigger scale and help out a small guild or two who could really use a way to talk to each other in mass for Raids, PVP etc... We hope to speak to you all soon :D /ZaiZaidain0 07 Nov
