14 Feb 2014 Forum Guidelines - Please Read Welcome to the World of Warcraft discussion forums! This forum is here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss all aspects of World of Warcraft with your fellow players. Community forums work best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy. Therefore, we ask that you take the time to read through the forum Code of Conduct before posting. Search The new search function at the top of the World of Warcraft community site is extremely robust. Please be sure to use it to look for similar topics, blog posts, or web pages that may contain the answer before creating your forum topic. Making a new thread on an existing subject will likely result in your thread being deleted. If you continue to repost it you're likely to have your posting privileges suspended for spamming. Worst of all, you'll be making the other forum goers upset that you didn't take a minute to search before posting. Reporting You can quickly report a post as trolling or spam, or use the report function to fill out a more comprehensive description of the violation. You can only rate each post once. Use it wisely to help foster a positive and helpful forum community. Guidelines In addition to the Forum Code of Conduct (, here are some common courtesy guidelines to follow to ensure these forums remain a constructive and friendly gathering place for the community. While these do technically fall within the bounds of the Code of Conduct, these cover more specific examples of common errors that will lead to thread deletions or posting privileges being revoked. The World of Warcraft forums are for discussion of topics directly related to World of Warcraft The forums here are specifically to discuss the game and related topics. Any topics not related to World of Warcraft, or Blizzard are subject to deletion. Don't post in all capital letters, use a misleading title, excessive punctuation, non-standard symbols, etc. While everyone wants their posts read, we ask you to refrain from using these types of tactics in order to bring more people to your thread. Let your post stand on its own merit. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Using the words Blizzard, Blue, or any community team members name in a thread topic to gather attention is frowned upon Everyone would like Blizzard to read and acknowledge his or her post, and we understand that. However, use of such words in the topic does not help that come to pass. Please make your thread title relevant to the post subject. Threads violating this guideline are subject to deletion. Note that threads discussing e.g. the Blizzard authenticator or Blizzard’s latest press release are allowed to have Blizzard in the title as it’s then relevant to the discussion. Posting "First" or IBTL constitutes as spamming You will be suspended if you create a post that is intended to call out that you achieved a specific reply number in a thread. This is considered spamming. Posting IBTL (in before the lock) is not helpful and if you feel a thread should be moderated please use the rating button to do so. Posting TLDR or L2P constitutes as trolling Posting TLDR (Too Long, Didn’t Read) is saying you don’t care about a player’s post. Posting L2P (Learn to Play) mocks the player for their skill or experience level rather than provide constructive input on the post itself. Both are considered trolling and will lead to a suspension.Takralus2 14 Feb 2014
1h [RP] The Roleplay Guild List. We did it! We got the list stickied to the top of the forum. Thanks for all the upvotes and sticky requests.. Greetings all! There's a lot of Roleplay Guilds floating around in the new Moonglade/TheSha'tar/SteamwheedleCartel connected realm! If you find yourself in this thread, chances are you'd like to know more about the guilds that make up this great Sha'glade Cartel community. I'll be around actively for years to come, so I'll do my best to keep this thread running! It's in the best interest of the community if people can manage to find their way to the guild that best suits their interests, after all. For new RPers seeking to join the community, I would also advise you to consider joining the following two channels if you are Horde (using /join <channelname>): RPSocial: The active channel where the RP community stays in touch to talk about anything. RPNetwork: The place just for finding and organizing RP. For the Alliance (I believe) the channel to join is: LookingForRP and/or OMGRP. I am not sure which one is most active at the moment. If you wish your guild added to the list, please submit the information in a structure sort of like this template, but feel free to add more, less, or different information as well: ... I know it's difficult, but please do keep the information short! This is the place for people to see which guilds are around and what they are about, but active recruitment is best kept to personal contact or in actual recruitment threads for your guild. :) I'll do my best to keep the info in here updated and poke around from time to time to see if guilds on the list are still operational. Feel free to post here whenever I should update your guild's info, such as when new officers get promoted or websites change. I do not have much contact with the Alliance. If someone wants to be the one to poke around there for active guilds to add to the thread, it would be welcome. Sha'glade Cartel Guilds! For fairness sake, I'll keep guild order alphabetical. For contacting these guilds, remember that sometimes you'll have to add -Moonglade, -TheSha'tar or -SteamwheedleCartel after a character name, depending on what server they are on. An easy way for you to see who is online in the guild you wish to contact is the "/who <Guild Name>" command. If I type /who Bloodroar Army, for example, I would get a list of all the people online in that (fictional) guild, so I can easily whisper them.Anroka42 1h
4h [A] Raiding Guild <Singularity> Now Recruiting (9/9HC) About the Guild Progress update 9/9HC. Singularity has been around since 5th September 2015. What first started out as a social hub for like-minded players soon developed into a keen raiding guild with one primary philosophy. Clear the latest heroic content at a reasonable pace while maintaining a solid social space for players to feel welcome and part of the family. We are always looking to push ourselves and will gladly take on mythic raiding content should numbers permit. While we pride ourselves on having one of the most chilled and relaxing raiding atmospheres, we do take raiding seriously and expect just as much from our raiders. Rules (which can be found on our website) are there for a reason and should be followed at all times. They are there to ensure our raids progress at an acceptable speed while keeping the community a pleasant place to be. Our spectrum of humour tends to lean towards the 18+ demographic and so recruitment is only open to those above this age. Raiding Schedule Wednesday: 20:00 – 23:00 server time. Sunday: 20:00 – 23:00 server time. Friday: Social Event (alt runs and/or misc events). What do we need? Tanks: CLOSED Healers: CLOSED RANGED DPS: OPEN Melee DPS: OPEN If you are interested and want to know more, please head over to our website at where you can see our guild rules in more detail and make an application. Thank you for reading and see you online!Skyrisan2 4h
17h [H] Honorbound 5/9M - LF HOLY PALADIN Honorbound is a longstanding guild that has been around since vanilla. No matter what happens nobody is willing to give up on each other and the guild. Things have changed over time, but the the concept of why Honorbound was formed is still there. Having good progress is what we aim for without sacrificing the social, teaching, and exploring part of what a guild and WoW has to offer. We consider ourselves a semi-hardcore raiding guild with our 3-day schedule. Overtime is something we rarely do unless we know we can kill him with that famous last extra try. Our goal as a guild is to have fun and kill bosses! A joke, a silly mistake on a boss, we will all laugh with you about it. Still don't believe us? Well then go check out our "old" recruitment video at: Or if you like to hear a few things from our local radio station Syringe FM then you should click this: Our raiding schedule is: - Thursday: 20:00-23:00 (CEST)(realm time) - Sunday: 20:00-23:00 (CEST)(realm time) - Monday: 20:00-23:00 (CEST)(realm time) Recruiting: demon hunter medium druid (restoration) high hunter medium monk (healer) high priest (dd) high shaman (restoration) high warlock medium We are looking good monk/shaman dps with healing offspec! 3d (H-PVE) The Masquerade is recruiting! Hello everyone! I have the pleasure, nay, the honor, to give you the the call that you must answer! The Masquerade is recruiting, and we want you today! The crusade for the Burning Legion must continue! For that we need you. Help us put an end to this vile and dreadful threat. Let's get rid of them forever! What's the requirement you might ask! A love for raiding and enjoyment of the game. We are recruiting people willing to commit themselves to 2 raid nights a week, from 20.30 to 23.00 realm time. We are looking especially for dps, but we do accept skillful players, no matter their spec. We are 8/9 HC with our best try on KJ being ~15% Our progress for mythic in the past was 6/13 HFC, 4/10 NH. I'm choosing to write only these ones because they were made before any nerf and new expansion. They represent my best performances as raid leader. Now, what can we offer you in terms of guild! 1. Peaceful and positive atmosphere. It's no secret that guild atmosphere can be quite hectic sometimes. People are different and might sometimes argue even of small unimportant stuff. Here we try to behave as mature as possible, and if a conflict arise I can assure you of objectivity and listening to the both sides 2. Quality raiding. The Masquerade is known for the fact that we achieve our main goal, of clearing heroic and getting the CURVE, with enough time left until the new raid hits. Usually, if we have the numbers, we will try mythic raiding, and I'm happy with the results of the guild since I got in charge of the raiding team (2 years ago). Considering the hours that we put into raiding, I would say that's a nice achievement. 3. Help with gear/rotation/consumables. As long as you want to better yourself, we can help. Attitude is key! 4. Ourselves. Yes, you see it right! Our team is mainly formed by core members who have been with us for years. They are kind and they are loyal. They are the soldiers I would be proud and honored to lead into battle. Sure, we sometimes make fun of ourselves! but we like each other. We are here to enjoy this game and have fun. We love to raid! The Masquerade is giving a call! You must answer! For Azeroth, For the Horde, SunsetSunsèt6 3d
4d (A)Stumpy's Bandits, casual raiding guild recruiting Looking for serious raiding? Then you're in the wrong place. Looking for a casual group because your guild broke up or real life gets in the way or you were hardcore but wanna take it easy, give us a shot! Stumpy's has been around since the very start of WoW. Founded in 2006 we're still social, still rocking raids and still having a blast. We understand that WoW is about the people, not the game. Real life comes first, no stress just enjoy the game. Now, you've probably read a million of these posts online and you're wondering why you should join us. Well to be fair we're not all that different from all of the other social guilds out there but you might just find that our attitude and guild atmosphere fits you perfectly! You could be the person brightening our guildchat while we could be the people bringing you that memorable raidevening with lots of laughs. It's all about chemistry, none of that pug attitude like: “link achie”, “low DPS”, “ilvl not high enough” and such. Sound good? Well we always enjoy meeting new social people so don't hesitate to apply on our website. We also have a raidteam where we raid two nights a week. Wednesdays are our heroic runs and saturdays are our normal casual runs (feel free to bring alts and stuff to those) Here's the link to our website in case you want to apply: See you soon Bandit!Tiashka3 4d
15 Sep (A) 9/9 HC Casual Raiding Guild - Oh yeah baby. I think we can all recall our first guild, but we can even better recall that guild that first made us feel like we were a family, in a place that could be a home in game, and even outside of it. Guilds such as these are rare finds, and guilds who manage to have this sort of feeling within the guild, don't tend to also be raiding guilds. We have blended the two to get a casual progression guild that actually kills stuff! WHAT'S IN A NAME? Introducing (or re-introducing!) The Forty-Second. Our guild is named for the answer to life, the universe, and everything. We even have some dolphins! We've been around for over 5 years, and will be around for plenty more because we've stuck to some core values that have been unwritten, but universally understood. 1. There is no reason a guild cannot be a progression raiding guild, and also be good to one another and care about each other's goals and achievements just as much as our own. 2. There is no reason to beat people down and act like elitists if they screw up during a raid. We hope that the person will learn from it, and if they do not - to handle it with tact and care one-on-one instead of hurtful negativity, particularly publicly. 3. There is no reason for drama to exist in a guild full of people who care about each other and mutual goals. It has never had a place in The 42nd, we just don't foster a place where that kind of stuff is allowed to fester and grow. 4. People matter more. YOU are who matters to us. We are a community of people with rich and varied backgrounds and lives, not toons who serve one purpose, and as such - we value one another. 5. Real life comes first. No matter how often you play, something will always come along and disrupt that game time now and then, and sometimes reality can be harsh. We understand that things happen, and when tragedy strikes in whatever form it takes - not only will you have a home to come back to if you need time away, but you'll also have the support of your guildmates in the meantime. 6. Lots of rules are silly. Be mature, responsible and know that while you're wearing our guild tag above your head that you represent all of us. 7. Don't forget to have fun while pushing your limits in game. This is a game after all, and we meet within it to have our share of the fun within it. Taking yourself or the game too seriously only leads to burnout. We have a lot of fun here in The 42nd, but we keep things classy. APPLY HERE: OTHER EQUALLY IMPORTANT STUFFS So here are the boring things everyone reads on every other guild recruitment post. We are 9/9 Heroic Tomb of Sargeras, and we have historically managed to clear current Heroic content to get "Ahead of the Curve". We raid on Thursday and Sunday evenings from 7:45 - 11pm server time. (and sometimes Wednesdays for a "fun run" - though not required, nor usually, progress). We are based on the triad of servers: The Sha'tar, Moonglade and Steamwheedle Cartel, Alliance - EU. It's an RPVE server. We are opening recruitment for dps, but please note that those who have tank or heal offspecs are more versatile, and hence - able to do more within the raid team. Being able to play more than one spec is super helpful :) Any exceptional raiders are welcome to apply. We're also open for social members, we have quite a large community of social players who do everything from old content and achievement farming, to mog hunting and mog runs, and plenty more. APPLY HERE: LAST THOUGHTS If you remember your first guild, or the one guild which treated you like a valued person and not just a number to add to a raid force, it's because those kinds of guilds are truly amazing. Here in The Forty-Second, we're lucky to have such a great group of people, who celebrate our differences and unite in common goals. Come rediscover that feeling of wonder, family, fun, and feeling like a person - not a number. You can also contact Kittkatt-TheSha'tar by in game mail, in game live, or any of our officer team who will be glad to answer any other questions you have! LAST THOUGHTS - no...really this time. Bonus points if you're a gnome. APPLY HERE: 15 Sep
06 Sep [H-RP] The Belore Tourney Run date: 11/9/2017 : 20:00 server time. House Hawkhelm proudly presents the first annual Belore Tourney, a chance for Sin'dorei and other races of Azeroth to prove their worth and attain glory amongst their comrades. Along with a generous gold sum, the winner of the Tourney will gain the coveted title of Champion of Belore. 8-16 contestants will face off and fight each other in a classic, noble duel. Winners will advance up the tree until the last two contestants remain for a final battle, it is highly recommended that Champions come representing a noble house or an organisation and wear their colours, this Tourney is an event of pride and honour. Champions will be allowed a squire or assistant who can help them prepare in the ring and can bring as many onlookers or supporters as they choose to watch the matches. At the end of the event the Tourney winner will be announced and presented with the title by a representative of House Hawkhelm. Perhaps you are not inclined to fight but attendance is still worthwhile, while the battles rage in the arena important nobility, merchants and high ranking military officers will be there to watch giving any audience member a chance to rub shoulders with the elite of Silvermoon and beyond. Refreshments will be provided throughout the evening and once the Tourney is done both participants and audience members are invited to stay as long as they wish for revelry and merriment. Please let the organisers know if you are entering or simply viewing in advance in order to arrange food, seating and to accomodate for numbers. OOC Info: The Belore Tourney is a jousting tournament primarily for Blood knights to partake in combat to compete for the honour of being Tourney champion. But it is not just what it seems, it is a hotbed of information and political manoeuvring. Each participating house will of course participate in the tournament, but will all each be given at least one social mission or task as well. The event is open to about 8-16 characters (who may each bring with them allies or friends but they wouldn’t be receiving player packs or information or be partaking in the tourney.) Priority would be given to Blood Knights, but would accept other classes etc should they think their backstory/position/history would involve them in a noble tourney. What we require from participants to tailor the event to them is as much information on their characters family/representing house as possible, and things such as heraldry etc. Tournament mechanics: Participants will be randomised into a tournament table, and called forth to participate in 1v1 jousts. The players will mount at opposite ends of the run (it is suggested to pick up a lance for looks!) and charge past each other for each round. The first to score 3 hits wins. Both players will roll, and the highest roll will score a hit that run. The players continue until one has scored 3 hits. A 100 roll will see their enemy critically injured or wounded in a way to immediately drop them from the tourney! Make it dramatic! It counts as an instant 3 hits victory.) A 1 roll will see the victim take some sort of dramatic injury of their choosing/fitting. Maybe the hit was so much it threw them from their horse, maybe their visor fell down, just have fun with a dramatic failure. If the players draw, no one managed to land a strike that run, and they will continue on with no change to the score that round. The winners will move up in the tournament for the next rounds, until a winner can be found. When you receive your player information pack, it is important you do not share the information unless it is with someone you want to know about it IC. Because there is an element of subterfuge and information gathering to the event, if you talk about things OOC it can be hard to tell if someone learned something legitimately through RP or if they are meta gaming. So for sake of fairness and competition, it is highly encouraged to keep things secret IC and OOC. Depending on how it goes, we have follow up events and RP opportunties to continue where this started. If you have any questions at all, Please get in contact with us! Participants: (Need 8 to start with, will stretch to 16 if enough interest.) 1: The Gallows Knight 2: Malxari Nethershade: (potential)House Halvard/Illidari 3: Ardaash: Ebon Blade 4: Jaspael Fleetmire of house Fleetmire: Farstrider. 5: 6: 7: 8:Maethorwen2 06 Sep
06 Sep [H-RP] Forsaken social A monthly event on the first Monday of the month, Brill, 20:00 server time. Next one being 2/10/17 We used to have a server tradition, a forsaken themed social once a month. Well here’s to bringing it back! In loving memory of the Gallows End Tavern. Details for 2/10/17 The forsaken attendies of the previous week discussed how the next meeting should have a theme around charitable donations to perhaps rebuild an actual tavern in brill. Bring ideas, bring concepts, and most importantly, bring coin! ;)Exaura3 06 Sep
06 Sep Gnomish Miss-Adventures I'm thinking to set up a few roleplay events, Limited to 5 people, preferably. The event would include Saranian, who is an author and has gotten herself in trouble again. One of my alts on my other account, who has recruited help (You) to go save her. For whichever reason you want to help. The person recruiting you will be seeking brave adventurers that are willing to brave caves full of... well, probably kobolds. Keep in mind that even the most powerful warriors can find danger in the simplest of areas! (Hitpoints between 2-6, no forced deaths of course! Preferably no deaths at all, a friendly event... with angry kobolds.) Be it the good deed that entices you or maybe you will ask for payment? Whichever your motive, this gnome needs help! If anyone is interested, please leave a response here, or send an in game mail. This would be Alliance only, of course. And anyone is welcome! Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Half Dragon Half elf shamagadin edgelords with fancy moustaches. I'm just happy if people come! It will likely be combat oriented, I'm quite new to setting up Roleplay events, but I constantly complain that there isn't a whole lot of casual non-guild oriented roleplay, and you know what, maybe I should just make it myself! This is still just an idea, and this is really just an interest check. I may update this in time, but please, respond here on the forum with ideas or if you are interested in joining!Saranian1 06 Sep
05 Sep [H-RP] Hand of the Titans is recruiting! The Hand of the Titans remains open to new roleplayers on Moonglade, Steamwheedle Cartel and The Sha'tar! We are a well-established guild with wide connections, with over 7 years of history. I’ll start a bit of an introduction of our motivations, before getting into how we’re set up and what you can expect from us. ----------------------------------------------- “We live in a world with great threats. Azeroth, the gift of the Titans, is in danger of corruption and destruction. The demonic hordes of the Burning Legion. The deep-seeded corruption and machinations of the Old Gods. Threats and forces in the world that would slay or enslave us. There once existed safeguards and guardians to shield us from the tides of darkness, but the safety of this world lies now in mortal hands. The Horde looks to secure the future for our people. The need remains to stand ready and shield our people and our world from any threat. In this new age, the Hand of the Titans fights to remove what corruption lingers on this world, standing vigilant against threats to our people. To stand with the Hand now means to stand vigilant within the Horde, to deal with threats to our people, wherever they may emerge. For the Horde!" -Champion Anroka Scaleslicer. Update: “Demons and cultists. As if we hadn’t seen enough of them on Draenor. If the Burning Legion thought we fought hard on an different world from another time, wait till they see us fight for our own home! Still, the demons are out for revenge and they never fail to bring long-lasting consequences. A dangerous conflict has come to our world. Time to fight our fullest for Azeroth once again; though we take many lessons, trophies and allies from Draenor with us. With our allies and our combined strength, we will remind the demons and other threats what the Horde is capable of!” ---------------------------------------------- How are we set up? We are a RP guild first and foremost. The order is led by Anroka, supported by a team of Officers. We have all eight guild bank tabs. Our guild chat is Out Of Character. Officers chat /o is open to all and used as In Character channel. We are loosely divided into four factions within the guild, based on the primary expertise of members. We are not a military order with very strict discipline, but we do have a command structure. We count many groups as allies and try to be an active part of the community. Role-play wise we are best described as an adventuring guild, with wide connections, and affiliations with many other factions, primarily the Horde, but also many neutral ones. ... What can you expect from our guild? Out Of Character we are a connected and social group of friendly people. In Character we are a group united in loyalty, overlapping goals and usefulness to each other. We are a guild dedicated to offering RP in great varieties of genre, PvE, events, RP combat and social activities. We are well established, with an active player base. We often run old content, and offer the opportunity to casually run new raids as well. Overall, the goal is to provide a good environment for our players; a helpful basis from which to explore the aspects of the game, alone and as a group. While some of our events and storylines are within the guild alone, we strive to be connected with the rest of the server when we can; participating in, and sometimes running, server-wide events. ... What sort of members do we seek? We seek members who would like to RP, want to be part of an involved group of people and would enjoy the opportunity join a guild such as ours. We’re open to all races and classes, in principle. It’s all about how you handle your character. There are a million reasons why anyone might seek to join the Hand. Whether you are a powerful demonslayer, a scholar of history, a concerned grunt or magister, or a mercenary looking to make a buck fighting for a good cause, most will find they have goals overlapping with ours, especially in these times of conflict that threatens us all. Evil characters are allowed within our guild, especially if they are not open with such intentions, but if your usual activities include corrupting citizens in the streets or feasting on the souls of the innocent, our guild is not the place for you. Out of character, tolerance towards people of all genders/orientations/races, adherence to WoW guidelines, RP etiquette and decent grasp of the English language are appreciated. "i c4n haz Gild plox?"-people need not apply. Much knowledge of WoW lore isn't required, as long as you keep in mind that your fellow members and their storylines will involve it to a decent extent. If you would like some aid in working out your character, we would be happy to give you advice. Experienced roleplayers are always welcome, but those new to it are very welcome too. As long as you have the willingness to get learn, we are more than happy to support you. ... How do you join the guild? We’re selective about who we let into our ranks. We like to be sure that people interested in joining us will fit well with us as people, characters and guild aims. As said above; many will. In reading this thread you’ve taken the first step. The next step will be to arrange an IC interview. You can whisper Anroka, Gosa, Asperia, Caerule, Arctius or Zajara(-Moonglade) to arrange an interview or encounter, so that we can see if ours is the guild for you. If I am not online, Nlaea can help you with information and helping me to get in touch with you later. Typing the command "/who Hand of the Titans" can give you a list of who of the guild is online. You can also post here if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, etc. This thread could likely use the bumping anyway. Extra info: We currently have a minimum level 20 requirement for various reasons, please keep this in mind. If you need help on your backstory or lore, we're always available for advice, and if you seek cooperation with our guild instead of membership, we're always open for that as well. Current events: We've had a lot of good times this expansion, with new challenges to face. The Hand of the Titans have answered the call to head for the Broken Isles. Campaigning throughout the lands to aid in turning the of this war. Answering the call of the Armies of Legionfall, we have spent a few weeks joining assaults on the Broken Shore. But while some progress was achieved, a lot of work remains to be done before the Tomb of Sargeras falls. We now seek to aid our allies in dealing with threats world-wide, to free up troops and resources for the siege on the Broken Shore. See you on Azeroth!Anroka67 05 Sep

27 Aug [H-RP] The Beastmaw Warband Brand new recruitment trailer, thanks to Rocmar: ------ “We are predators.” Concept: The Beastmaw is a veteran pro-Horde military guild which has been on Steamwheedle Cartel since 2009, based on hunting and serving the Horde on the field of battle. The idea behind the guild is to have a group based on values such as honour and comradeship – between members and beasts alike. Therefore it seeks to gather a bunch of colourful, like-minded characters with the intention to prove themselves under the red banner of the Horde. The Beastmaw respects a number of traditions, both shamanistic and cultural. “We are a wolfpack.” Execution: When on duty, the Beastmaw operates in well-planned and organised missions. Traveling, setting up camps and thoroughly taking care of the supplies are all imperative elements of a successful mission. When the mission requires a lengthy journey, an expedition is organised as it is proper, to help the Warband survive the trip across the world. When off-duty, the Warband makes sure to honour various traditions: such as the Harvest Festival, when heroes of the Horde are paid tribute to; the Orcish om'riggor has been held for young orcs who wished to prove themselves to the Warband in the past. The Trial of the Hunt is a tradition crafted by the founders of the Beastmaw, for new members to prove themselves before earning their keep. Its practical application leads to a hunting mastery and the knowledge of beasts. Furthermore, the members of the Warband are bound by honour to watch each other's backs. Disputes are solved honourably in combat by the campfire, and never brought up again. “We are brothers.” Brief History: The Beastmaw began as a New Horde Orcish clan before expanding its frame into a Warband. Its first great achievement under the Horde banner was to spearhead a campaign across cold Northrend, as a part of the war effort against the Scourge. Following the Lich King's death, the Beastmaw reinforced Kargathia Keep against active Night Elf skirmishes. The following seasons led the Beastmaw to various places of conflict – Desolation Hold, Dustwallow Marsh, Uldum. When the land of Pandaria was unveiled, the warband was a part of the first wave of reinforcements to explore the Jade Forest. With the arrival of the Dominance Offensive, it established a base camp in Kun-Lai. The rebellion against Warchief Garrosh might have spelled doom for the Beastmaw, had it not been for its awareness and disapproval of Hellscream's recent actions. The conspiracy had not gone unnoticed, however, and after a failed assassination attempt by the Kor'kron, aiming to disband the Beastmaw, the warband added its banner to Vol'jin's forces. The seasons after the rebellion were spent in a journey after another. “We are warriors.” Organisation: The Beastmaw serves as a division within the Horde army. It is an independent unit, attached to a larger army under the command of a Warlord in times of conflict. It employs the structure of a Warband, which means that it operates in small numbers and with a rank hierarchy simple enough to understand. Its charge in the Horde army is to scout, tame beasts, and produce skilled hunters and riders – from which the Warband name and banner derive. The warband colours are expected to be worn during official events, and the uniform code requires a matching set of armour, but outside of such events that rule is not enforced. Being a hunter guild, when a new blood joins, so do their beast companions. Therefore, every member must take a good care of their beast – mount or otherwise - train it to assist in the transport of supplies, wounded, or in missions demanding it to carry a rider. Even then, the warband seeks to recruit more than hunters and warriors. Spellcasters have long justified their usefulness on the field of battle and outside of it; the same can be said for assassins and death knights; skilled healers have always been rare, and we are very much dependent on their salves and healing methods. Adapting to the nature of the warband simply comes over time. “We are Horde.” What is to be expected: A friendly, very casual atmosphere. The guild is quite open to people new to the game or to Roleplay in general, and we are always glad to help out with advice and guidance. The guild almost always follows a storyline, with context provided either by the on-going game story, or the other members. As far as the game story is concerned, the Beastmaw tries to stay true to it at all times. Events are held twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays - with the occasional random gathering inbetween. The sole focus of the guild is RP, but guild dungeon/old raid runs, scenarios, PvP and everything else gameplay-related has always been made possible when there is interest. Requirements: You need to be level 20 to apply for the guild (or 70 for Death Knights) and possess at least basic knowledge of the Warcraft lore (the level requirement is there simply due to activity issues, it has no impact on the RP whatsoever). Furthermore, at least a rough awareness of what the guild is about, as well as your character's reasons to join, would save everyone a lot of awkwardness at the start. Racially, the core of the guild consists of orcs, which is what shapes its theme and overall atmosphere. That said, all Horde races and classes are allowed to join, given they have a reason to (highlighting it on purpose, due to the idea of roleplaying a sub-race; Revantusk and Shatterspear trolls, for instance, are allowed to join because they are allied to the Horde, but we would be quite hostile to other tribes, such as the Amani). How to join: A simple whisper or a letter to Torakk, Tannaka, Ronto or Rocmar should be enough, be it OOC or otherwise, to arrange an interview followed by an IC meeting. The guild recruitment tool is helpful, but not really practically useful, so we prefer a letter rather than a guild request.  If approved to join, the recruit will undergo a few weeks as a New Blood, in which they are expected to earn their keep. 22 Aug A message to all Horde Guild Leaders/Server RP ideas. ---OOC--- Hello everyone, as I'm sure you're all aware patch 7.3 is soon to arrive and plenty of exciting new content will be available to play. I've created this post as I feel the current threat of Argus is an excellent opportunity to rekindle overall server RP and produce more RP between guilds. When I first started on Moonglade several years ago there was a group called The Union Accord, an alliance of all the RP guilds that promoted communication between everyone. I feel like a similar group would really get people RP-ing with others again and would encourage smaller guilds and independent roleplayers to get involved with server RP. I think OOC communication between guild leaders to create server wide events could really boost the realm's activity. So, as well as an IC call to guild leaders this is also an OC call to get in touch with me. If you're interested you can whisper me, I'm usually on Vauxhill-Moonglade or you can send mail IC or OC to Dermin-Moonglade. Hopefully we can arrange a date everyone can attend, if not I will set a date that is best for most who get in contact with us. If anyone on the server is interested in getting this project going or has any feedback please leave any comments on this thread or contact me personally. Thanks Dermin. Below is an In Character letter that would arrive at the desk/tent/hands of the leader of the guilds of the horde. ...Dermin3 22 Aug

15 Aug [H-RP] Convocation of Elrendar “Name me the largest lake in our great kingdom. Name me the stretch of purest water splitting our fair lands in twain. Name me the dividing line between the unrelenting chaos of southern Quel’thalas and the glorious majesty of the North: Elrendar.” – Sateal Emberheart, founding Archon of the Convocation "At its best, The Convocation should aim to be nothing less than what its name implies, a guide for our people to a prosperous destiny, unburdened by the past or wasteful dogma. King Dath'remar's only error was abdication, leaving the future in the hands of the unworthy. That is the same mistake we won't repeat." - Archon Sorlain Amaran ____________________________________________________________________ Having existed in one form or another since the fall of the Lich King, the Convocation of Elrendar has gone through tumultuous times, and changed much, with the one constant being its commitment to the benefit of the blood elf people. Following a stint in the Reliquary's service and service in the war effort on Draenor, the Convocation were implicated in treason following an ill-considered deal with a Magistrix in service to the Legion. Freed from incarceration to be deployed in the Warchief's Sylvanas service by a new Overseer, the Convocation's goals are unchanged. To stand stalwart in their support of the Horde, to assist in the efforts to beat back the demonic invasion of Azeroth and as always, push Sin'dorei interests in old territories and the new, To go about these goals the Convocation has recently reorganized into operating on a top-down system of command, prioritizing the individual contribution of its members and their skillsets while giving a chance for any to advance within its ranks. Lowest on its rungs are the initiates, undergoing a period of acclimatization before their blood oath to the Convocation is made. From there, they advance to members of the Praetorians, the defenders of the organisation's leaders and its interests, now fully inducted into the group. Closest to the ruling Archon are the Scions, the highest advisors of the group, who guide the group and who's skills and contributions shape operations both on and off the field, having command delegated to them depending on the needs of the mission undertaken. As executors of the Sin'dorei's interests at home and abroad, with a hostile bent towards the Alliance and the Legion both in the trying times following the Legion's return, the Convocation's missions vary from assignments on behalf of the Horde, to personal projects to advance their agenda to vendetta against past foes. The group is not above using connections of their members to find work, nor acting as mercenaries if needed. There are very few types of missions the Convocation rejects entirely, at least where the Horde is involved. The core calculus is whether the steps taken benefit the blood elf people and their place in the world foremost, and the organisation itself second. _________________________________________________________________ Legion has come, and the Convocation is there and with a new direction for the new expansion comes a revision of the old topic. As with before, In lieu of the usual info dump on all relevant subjects, I’ve opted to go for a little FAQ-esque list on who we are and what you should do if you’re interested in joining, updated to reflect the times. 1. Who are you and what do you do? The Convocation of Elrendar is a heavy RP guild primarily focused on Blood Elves, their moral ambiguity and their ties with the rest of the Horde. We’ve been around on the Sha’tar since late Wrath and through retooling we’ve stayed active for the majority of time across the years. In Legion, the Convocation currently works as an independent force on behalf of the Horde, tightly connected to both the new Warchief's Deathstalkers, but with connections, good or ill, stretching over many more organisations within both Quel’thalas and the Horde, leading the order across Azeroth and far from their home in the High Kingdom. 2. What can the Convocation offer me? While we’re primarily an RP guild, our strong OOC community almost always has someone around to tag along for retro raids and dungeons, though our attempts at organizing anything larger almost always end up with one desperate soul spamming RPSocial to get people who are actually geared to help out. First and foremost, we’re a roleplaying guild, with at least three events per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 19:30 realm time. Random RP tends to vary between those who avoid it and those who revel in it, but if you ask us, you’ll usually find someone willing to help you out when you’re bored. We usually keep in contact through Skype when out of the game, so though using it is not necessary, it’s heavily recommended if you want to stay in touch with the community (and keep up to date on all the recent in-jokes). 3. You sure talk about elves a lot, I want to join, but I’m not sure playing one is my cup of tea. Do I still have a chance? Yes, but it has its hangups. The reason we put so much emphasis on this is that the Convocation has, technically at least, always been a blood elf guild. However, we’ve always had one or two exceptions tagging along because certain characters mesh in or have very strong reasons for being part of it. If you want to join the Convocation on a non-Blood Elf, you will get the most out of it if you have a character who has strong ties to Quel’thalas or a reason to be heavily invested in their interests. The sole exception to this given Sylvanas's new role in Legion, Forsaken characters aligned with her would have a fairly easy time as assistant overseers to the Convocation. Opinions on the Horde races vary among the members and we’d be hard-pressed to accept an application for a character who doesn’t really have a reason to care about the Sin’dorei. Still, if you have a character who’s a fit, Blood Elf or no, we’ll try and find them a spot. 4. Why are you called the Convocation of Elrendar? Do you have anything to do with the Convocation of Silvermoon? The name is a show of the Convocation leadership's lofty ambitions, rarely matched by reality, to fill in the same role that the Council of Silvermoon once did, directing the High Kingdom to productive aims. To the latter question, yes and no – there’s no one in the Convocation with any ties to speak of with the previous Council, nor are they remotely similar in purpose or influence. The name is not accidental, the founding Archons declared its creation on the banks of the river Elrendar and they, as well as those who ended up replacing them, even now, through various political pushes, to obtain a similar level of influence as the old Convocation, most of which inevitably backfire. 5. I’m interested, but I don’t have much experience with the lore or with roleplaying. What are your requirements? From an OOC standpoint, we used to want our members to be at least level 20 (or 70 for Death Knights) when they join, but given the new focus on the Broken Isles, we're raising this requirement to level 100 for all classes. We’ll do our best to protect you when we’re in a higher level zone for RP, but it’s heartily recommended that you try and get your character to max level ASAP so we have full access to every are ain the game. The only addons required are TRP(2 or 3) or MRP, as they’re a staple of the realm. There aren't any OOC limitations on class either, though some may fit better than others. We want our members to have a good grasp on the English language. However if you have dyslexia or are still studying, we’ll take it in mind while reading your application, just let us know immediately. Likewise, because we rely overwhelmingly on established lore, it would be good if you know as much about it as possible. Wowpedia is a great source for this and the official roleplaying forums are full of guides. We’re less picky about roleplaying experience – even if you’re just starting out or have only played tabletop, we’ll give you all the help you can on your trial period to help you fit in. While this may seem overwhelming at first glance, all of that’s not something that’s too hard to catch up on with the right sources and we’ll be happy to guide you along the way. Provided you’re willing to learn and can take advice, you’ll be good before you know it. After all, we were all newbies at one point. 6. That all sounds very interesting, how can I join up and where do I go if I have any more questions? Back when Sha’tar was on its own and even after the merge with Moonglade, because of the small number of players we used to do our recruitment in-game. Now that the server has expanded, we now offer an alternative in the form of an application form on our guild website, but if you're at all interested in joining, all you need to do to start is to toss a message to anyone in the guild online and they'll patch you through to an officer to continue. When or before you sign up, please tell us on this thread or send a message to Sorlaín, Jovia/Elrodan, Viradri or Tale if you have any questions. These are also the people you should talk to if you have any further questions about the guild, or if you’re a GM who wants to run a cooperative event with us, which we’re of course also open to. Phew, that was a little lengthy - Thank you very much for reading and we hope to see you in-game or on one of the sites linked above! We wish you a lot of fun in the meantime, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to talk to any of us online!Sorlaín10 15 Aug
12 Aug [A] < The Light of Elune> Recruiting core team Hi and thanks for taking interest in our guild! General information about the guild: We are a newly formed guild with an ambitious purpose. Our aim is to bring a balance between the best of both worlds of what World of Warcraft can currently offer. We firmly believe that a socially active community can coexist in harmony with an organized core-raiding team that actively seeks pursuing current end-game content. With that in mind we offer a strong leadership divided equally between the Council Members. To put the good of the community ahead of the needs of one individual, we divided the power among a select few. Every decision is taken with the approval of all or the majority of our Council Members. With this new approach in leading we avoid emotional decisions and keep everything level headed. Progress: We are currently recruiting members for our core team so we can start showing our progress. Recruitment status: Currently all roles are open to be filled. - Tanks - Healers - Ranged dps - Melee dps (written down for optional future adjustments) If you are interested in joining the guild or want more information about the guild, feel free to leave a reply on this topic or whisper one of our members in-game. Hope to see you soon! Eliryth.Eliryth0 12 Aug
11 Aug [H] <Legio Pro Fennia - Draenor> LF Finnish Raiders As titled.. Since this is solely meant for Finnish people only, the following will be in finnish. Legio pro Fennia on ollut olemassa aikojen alusta... oikeastaan jo ennen World of Warcraftin euroopan launchia. Laughing Skull-serverillä jo WoWin betassa juostiin samalla porukalla (Nordic Horde) joka sittemmin muodosti Legio pro Fennian alunperin Agamaggan-serverille. Kor'gallille koko kilta siirtyi 3.6.2005, josta matka jatkui 9.3.2013 Draenorille. Legio pro Fennia perustettiin jo WoWin betan aikana kauan ennen virallista julkaisua! Nazshak1 11 Aug

07 Aug Question: How is RP on these realms? I have been a roleplayer on Argent Dawn for about six years now, prior to that I used to RP on Ravenholdt (RP-PVP) but on that realm, it was strictly guild RP. Now I am considering to try RPing on Moonglade/Steamwheedle/Sha'tar. Could anyone tell me about how it works on the mentioned realms? Is it strictly guild RP, or can I find random RP here and there? I am fully aware it'll be nothing like AD, but I'd like to ask, whether or not it's worth it starting there!Ellydia2 07 Aug
07 Aug Guild idea. Input please :) Hi guys, Just wanted to soundboard this to see if there would be any interest in making more of an established group of like minded folks. Not quite legacy but sort of similar. Currently playing a DK, I decided that at each significant level cap (70, 80 etc) that I would lock experience and not move on until I had experienced that content as fully as possible. Raids are obviously not feasible but dungeons, rep, questing and crafting etc would be. Heirlooms permitted, but I didn't know if there was any interest in this sort of activity so that people would be able to run content specific Heroics together or help each other out on group quests etc. Even get together for smaller raids where possible like Kara. Thoughts?Dahkna1 07 Aug
06 Aug [N-RP] Crimson Sun Brigade The Crimson Sun Brigade is back in action! After a long OOC hiatus that allowed us time to live life and for memories to grow fond, we're looking back on the guild and saying "... Yeah, that was nice. Let's do it again!" Who Are We? The Crimson Sun Brigade (Steamwheedle Cartel/Argent Dawn) is a faction neutral paramilitary guild that do not care about the strife between the Horde and the Alliance. They have chosen to band together in the defence of Azeroth as opposed to risking the safety of its members by squabbling over old prejudices. Koranith Dawnfire commands over the whole operation which is primarily based in Fenris Keep and Dandred’s Fold. For the sake of making the paperwork a little more manageable, the brigade is divided into three branches: The First branch is led by Aeryndal Riverheart, focusing on humanitarian efforts around Azeroth. We can often be seen aiding civilians after battles and natural disasters. The Second branch is led by Eric Balston and has been given the nickname “Balston’s Braves.” We do most of the exciting stuff, going on adventures, contracted missions, et cetera. The Third branch is lead by Lanariel Belore'draco and focus on the arcane arts and all things magical in nature. We’ll often be found researching old tomes and artifacts, inspecting leylines, and doing the arcane heavy lifting around the brigade. NOTE: Just because an individual’s paperwork is filed under a certain branch does not mean one cannot interact with and aid another branch. An arcanist from the Third branch can accompany a squad primarily comprised of individuals from the Second branch out on missions. What Do We Do? As you can see from the above: a little bit of everything so long as it does not break our neutral status. Azeroth is our home. We will do what it takes to save it from anything that could possibly threaten it; from power hungry necromancers to mad scientists, from dark cults to the Legion itself, and everything in between. But while saving Azeroth is our primary goal, such things like finances can be a tricky! The Crimson Sun Brigade is and has always been primarily funded on others being able to hire us in nearly all matters aside from direct involvement with the Horde-Alliance war. We offer our blades, our spells, our craftsmanship - our time and effort for coin, which has given us the label of "mercenaries" and "sellswords." Flyers for The Crimson Sun Brigade can be seen posted around the capital cities of both factions, as well as the neutral goblin hubs like Booty Bay and Gadgetzan. They advertise our services and the opportunity to join our ranks. (If you are interested in hiring Crimson Sun Brigade or working alongside them during a campaign, please contact an Officer or member that can point you in the right direction!) Events! Firstly, roleplay is not restricted to events. If there are members online and you fancy doing something then just ask. The likelihood is that we will be interested in some random and organic roleplay from fishing together to campfire stories, etc., or even some of the more exciting stuff like treating a badly wounded patient landing at our doorstep. Events that have a plot and a DM will generally happen on Fridays at 20:00 server time. Depending on the current plot-line this can be almost anywhere on Azeroth! Occasionally the Crimson Sun Brigade will join in with the server-wide campaigns (from all four servers) hosted by other guilds, or even host our own depending on how brave the plot-writers feel. You will always be able to find out what we are currently doing because we will post updates on this thread regarding our activities! Can I Join? While we are not actively recruiting, nor will we be spamming the trade channel for such, we are welcoming of new members or returning members. The idea is to have fun! If you are interested you can send a whisper to an Officer or member who can point you in the right direction. The Crimson Sun Brigade is present on Steamwheedle Cartel (H), Moonglade (A), and Argent Dawn (H and A) and will be found working with all sorts of guilds and people or making our own plot/content. If you do not know all the in’s and out’s of lore, that is fine - we can help! If you are new to RP and you aren’t sure how to do things - we can help with that too! If you aren’t new and just want to broaden your horizons - we-- … Well, you probably see where I am going with this. The types of roles you are likely to find in the guild are as follows: Combat Oriented: - Melee combatant - Ranged combatant - Spellweavers - Medics Travel Oriented: - Scout - Messenger - Errand boy - Traders General Upkeep at the HQ: - Mundane Medic: from surgeon to field medic to simple nurse. - Holy/Shadow Healer: for critical healing of living/undead patients respectively. - Any profession worker or assistant (smith, leatherworker, tailor, scribe, carpenter, tinkerer). - Groundskeeper - Gardner - Guard - Provisioner: hunting, fishing, and gathering to help feed the brigade. NOTE: Individuals can cover more than one role! Such as a combat capable ranger, who is also a scout and helps as a provisioner when not assigned on a mission. Restrictions: Any race and class is welcome. Heck, we're founded by a trio of Death Knights with a couple of Warlocks in the higher ranks. Just don't be evil or rude or moonlight at 'Plagues R Us' or the likes. We're trying to save Azeroth, dammit! We have no level requirement and will provide some help with leveling, gearing and transmog hunts and we encourage members to help each other through dungeons and group quests, but we will not interrupt an event to do so. Roleplay comes first. We prefer quality RP over quantity and a good disposition IC and OC. If you vanish off the face of Azeroth for months at a time without a given reason, and especially in the early days of your career, you're likely to be removed from the roster. (Those removed for inactivity are welcome to re-apply, though!) We are a social guild of casual RP. All applying members must pass an IC interview. RP Roll System: We use a roll-emote combat system that we train all members to use for the sake of certain events. For more information about us, read here: Send your applications to myself via in-game mail (or /w me), apply on this thread, or via our guild forum and we will look to contact you in-game. 06 Aug
03 Aug The fall of the King! Anyone Alliance side Moonglade EU, will know who this guy is, as an annoying muppet. He got a little cocky in chat and challenged me to a duel... I beat him almost instantly. The tyrant has been defeated, and with me as your new Monarch, I hearby abolish his law of taxes, (What was it, 2000 gold Daily? Weekly? Monthly?) I make plenty gold from current content. Announce Horacewolf as the Official court Jester and initiate The third of August as Tamiday, Pizza will be eaten and merryments will be had! Have a good day everyone. Your Queen. Tamiay Spellbonk. If you do not accept me as queen.... fair do's. I don't mind. 03 Aug
01 Aug <Raffles International> Casual PvP Guild recruiting <Raffles International> are looking for casual, fun, friendly people to join a no pressure, enjoy the game as it comes PvP'ers, we're the sort of guild who who suit people who sit around in dalaran waiting for random BGs or Arena's to pop. With no pretensions or history of greatness, Raffles has long been home to decent, friendly people, you know, the sort of people who give you tips in an Arena or don't rage when you get horribly globalled by an arms warrior. This guild is mature in that it started in TBC and in our time have done raiding and all that but now, with a much reduced membership, we're just seeing if there's fellow travellers out there who might fancy a low stress arena night or a BG or two. This guild suits the sort of people who spend their time in guild chat moaning that Prince Farondis is the biggest wimp in the broken isle and it's no wonder everyone hates them or who moan about the fact Slyvanus sounds like she she be on a street corner offering services. No one here is an expert, but we're low stress and have a playstyle where you can sort of pick up and put down the game at will, as is the joy of PvP. If you fancy joining give me or one of my many alts ingame a shout or anyone else online or just reply below, would be great to have a few decent people hanging about for PvP hilarity from time to time.Jebarus0 01 Aug
30 Jul New RP initiative guild! 30/07/2017: New RP initiative guild. <Stormbeard Enterprises> Focused on creating RP hotspots and connecting RP guilds! ingame message: <Stormbeard Enterprises> A Roleplay revival guild focused on creating RP Hotspots, Want to RP but don't know where? /W me! Want to own your own inn? Join us now and climb the ranks! Other RP guilds out there? /W me to work together and spread your rumors! -At this moment I am busy finding charter signers, but that should not take too long! Currently the first hub to revive is the one where few Roleplayers still meet: The Blue recluse. From here you can gather and enjoy yourself, hear rumors, and maybe even work here. -What does *owning your own inn* and *climbing the ranks* mean? at first we will reside in the Blue recluse inn in the mage quarters, once people start working here and the RP hotspot has been awakend, workers will gain a chance at becoming it's owner (besides potential other tavern guilds with who we will work together to create a enjoyable RP experience for both guilds) Once a worker has become and owner they may spread rumors (false or true) and form events like parties and maybe even a meeting of a potential new militairy guild. Once a owner has been set for such a tavern, me Ramorain Stormbeard, shall look further for a new potential hotspot and start working it out just like the blue recluse. I will continue this effort until this super Sha'tar/Moonglade/Steamwheedle Cartel server has grown a strong RP community once more. -Other guilds! Your guilds matter, you kept RP alive and hopefull will do so for many more years. Please contact me so we could work together, tell me of events and rumors of your guild shall fill the taverns. Exploits of heroic Roleplayers may also be included in these rumors (rumors are not mandatory but I love turning it all into a living impactful world) -Last words Remember, there is only as much RP as there are Roleplayers, I present myself as your encounter, it only takes you to turn that encounter into RP! and when you do it, another will too, and so the RP community shall grow again. <3Ramorain1 30 Jul
30 Jul [A] Elysian Gaming 7/7H OVERVIEW ELYSIAN is a one-year-old raiding guild now recruiting for progress in Legion. Our aim for the Legion expansion is to progress through heroic raid content at a reasonable pace. SCHEDULE Wednesday: 20:30-23:00 (ST) Sunday: 20:30-23:00 (ST) ABOUT <Elysian> Is the final product of a social raiding guild formed on 5th September 2015. We set out under the primary objective of creating a home for those that wanted to make new friends and enjoy end-game content in a chilled out environment. During WoD we managed to put heroic HFC on farm, as well as killing 2 bosses on mythic. Our current progress in heroic EN is 7/7 and ToV is 3/3 in normal. We pride ourselves on being able to maintain an amicable but serious approach to raiding whilst having fun. LOOT We use masterloot for loot distribution. Raiders will always have priority over socials and the loot will be awarded to whomever gets the highest roll. RECRUITMENT STATUS Tanks: CLOSED Healers: CLOSED Melee DPS: Accepting exceptional applications Ranged DPS: OPEN We genuinely want you to play the class you enjoy the most, though you may be asked to switch to a viable off-spec on occasion. We will try our best to keep this to a minimum. Please note that regardless of our recruitment status, we are always on the lookout for exceptional applications from both raiders and social members. SUMMARY So that’s the boring stuff over, a little about the community. Most of our members are mature in age but not necessarily in mind. We really do enjoy playing together whether it be working hard to down the next raid boss or larking around in dungeons or alt runs. We are and have always been extremely welcoming of new members and like to make new friends. So if you decide to apply to us today then please don’t hesitate to get involved, we truly have the most awesome members that I’m sure you’ll fall right in love with. Additional requirements for joining Elysian: Addons DBM or BigWigs (Boss Mods) Voice Discord Website Create an account on our website. This will allow you to join in any discussions on our dedicated forums. Apply online today at!Cherrymuffin9 30 Jul
19 Jul Coming from US Realms, trying to find my home Hi! For work reasons, i've played most of my time in US-Moon Guard and US-Wyrmrest, not because i rp ALL the time, but i do enjoy doing it casually, and doing PvE with an RP theme pumps me a lot more :) I'm trying to find a new home in an EU RP realm, but it seems that the big one (AD) is WAY too Alliance-sided, and i'm not sure how will that affect me in finding RP or a good raiding PvE guild. So looking into Realmpop, your merry group of realms came up. Can you tell me a bit more about it, Horde side? Thank you!!Raxog1 19 Jul

14 Jul [A] Stormwind Academy - Recruiting Summer raiding is not always fun... imagine people leaving on vacation and you, left behind, all alone and unable to get the job done... well no more! Stormwind Academy, one of the oldest guilds on the realm going back to when Steamwheedle Cartel was first created, is opening it's gates for new recruits on it's casual raid team! At the time this recruitment message was originally posted (14 July 2017) our progress on Tomb of Sargeras is nothing really spectacular having only cleared normal mode but with some fresh, eager to raid people, we hope to change that. ##### Regarding the Recruitment Part ##### Our planned raids are 2 times a week Wendsday and Monday (20:00 - 23:00 Server Time) plus whatever else may be happening (mythic plus or other runs). Our usual raid size is 10-12 players and that is sometimes a problem when somebody needs to leave early or take a break, we want to increase the group size with the goal of having a more stable raid group. Roles // Available Spots - Tanks: 1 spot (we need a 3rd dedicated tank which also has an ok damage spec, that way you do not have to sit out on raids) - Healers: none - Damage dealers: Ranged classes preferably as we are already a bit melee heavy most of the time. Requirements: At this point in the game for Tomb of Sargeras a suggested minimum item level of 900 is recommended for smooth progress in normal and faster jump on heroic. Prior raid experience is highly desirable. ##### What we Offer // The Incentives to Join // Carrot on a Stick ##### Friendly enviroment with people to enjoy the game around, we have people online most of the time and they range from all types of playstyle. Hopefully, with your help, can have a more stable raid enviroment. ##### Contact ##### For questions feel free to use this thread or contact in game Lefterisd or Cylandre for a chat. Update: Adding wowprogress link, it is updated regularly if you want to see progress etc 14 Jul
13 Jul [A] After Dusk 2/9 HC ToS looking for more DPS After Dusk is an established raiding guild on The Sha’Tar server, formed in 2008, that currently raids 2 nights a week. We have cleared 10/10 Heroic Nighthold. We currently raid on Wednesday and Thursday evenings between 8pm and 11pm server time. We are currently looking to increase the size of our raid team, with plans to move into mythic content in the future. We are mainly looking for dps at this time, but would be more than willing to accept exceptional applicants for tanking and healing roles. (However, we would like to point out that presently, healer and tank applicants should have viable dps offspecs as these roles are currently filled in terms of a 20-person raid). Our current recruitment priority is as follows: Death Knight DPS (high) Balance and feral druid (medium) Hunter all specs (medium) Shadow priest (high) Rogue all specs (high) Enhancement shaman (high) Warlock all specs (high) For any generalised questions regarding joining After Dusk, please contact any of our officer team in-game. However, should you have more specific queries in relation to raids or raiding, please speak to our raid leaders Elriond (adardokoth#2746), and Avalyn (livana#2987). You can find our application form at Thank youElriond0 13 Jul
10 Jul [H][Bloodhoof/Khadgar][DUTCH] <Nomads> To abide by the wow forums rules this recruitment message is in English, we are however a Dutch-speaking only guild on Bloodhoof/Khadgar! Raid hours (CEST - Server Time) Wednesday: 19:45 - 23:00 Sunday: 19:45 - 23:00 Progress As this message is on every realm forum and I possibly can't update it everytime we made a new kill I will link to wowprogress: To give an idea of our goals: We're progressing into HC atm and we are recruiting members so we can start with Mythic soon! Trial Period The Trial Period lasts for an uncertain amount of time, depending on your performance. By performance we mean: - Signing up for the raids in advance; - Showing up on time and prepared for the Raid; - Playing your role correctly; - Behaving as a decent human being; - In case of absence: informing us about it in advance; During your trial you will be evaluated and given information whether we are interested in offering you a place within our ranks. We are only interested in people who want to help Nomads progress and develop into a stronger community. Loot during Trial Period During your Trial Period you will have a lower loot priority than our Raiders. If no Raider needs a certain item but you do, the item of course goes to you so the loot isn't wasted. In case of two Trials wanting the same item the item will be rolled for. Loot for Raiders We use Loot Council for tier and on non-tier item we use a roll system. Where you can use your roll on item a night (need), afterwards all other gear puts you on the ‘greed’ list. Decision regarding loot is made by the Officers, and loot drama is strongly frowned upon. However, if you feel that a mistake has been made, please notify the Raid Leader and he will look into it. If after looking into it the Raid Leader decides to stick with the original decision, please do not fight him on this. What do we expect from you? - Know everything that is relevant to your class in general and your specialization in particular; - Keep up to date with changes or mechanics that concern your class and specialization; - Come fully prepared for the raids: have your gear enchanted and gemmed, have your food, runes, potions and flasks, know all required tactics; - Be online in-game and on our Discord at 19:45 on raid nights, have a working microphone; - Be able to communicate with all our members in Dutch; - Be focused on progress fights even though we joke around on farm bosses, thrash and during breaks; - Behave as a decent human being and keep all dramas out of the game; What can you expect from us? - Experienced and strong leadership from all previous expansions' end-game content; - Two raids a week with progression oriented mindset; - Raid progression with a serious, goal-oriented yet laid back attitude; - Decent human behaviour from the Raiders. Our raids are always focused on progressing through to the next boss, or the next difficulty, while having fun. We always stir the cauldron with the right amount of winner mentality, fun and seriousness when we raid! If you want to raid in a guild sporting a great team spirit, good progress, stability and a fun atmosphere, Nomads is the guild for you! To apply or for more information, feel free to contact me or any of our officers, Naverion#2280, Josin, Thirikzal, Frietsaus or come visit us on Thank you for reading and we hope to see you soon!Naverion0 10 Jul

03 Jul Looking for Light Leather The people I play with are mages at the moment who are unlikely to take Skinning. Much to my disappointment, I see the Auction House is barely in use. I was wondering if anybody is looking to sell Light Leather? Reason I'm asking: I RP with my partner and my roommate. I'm too shy* to chat real-time in the game with people I don't know which is why I chose such a low population server. I'm hoping I can get around the issue by using the forums. *several diagnosed disorders, not just "socially awkward"Alexå2 03 Jul

03 Jun [A] Dragon's Eye Dragon’s Eye is a small, friendly guild that has been around since LK days. We’re a mostly older crowd – 30s, 40s and even into the 70s – and many members have family commitments.   We do regular dungeon runs, occasional RP events, and we used to raid until the terror of WoD caused a small exodus of members, fortunately several of whom are now returning.   But we want more – we want you. And we're going to raid again.   Are you a happy casual that wants to do more dungeon runs and get into raiding in a friendly atmosphere? We value effort and enthusiasm more than raw skill. We value attendance and willingness to laugh through wipes more than world-beating deeps.   We understand if you have to run off for five minutes as a nappy needs changing, or if you need to grab a smoke and a beer – we cater for all.   We tend to do runs on Sunday evening, and when we begin raiding again, possibly a mid-week night too. Nothing strenuous – no all-nighters for us.   We’ve the usual mix of DPS, tanks and healers, but more of the latter two are always appreciated.   If you think you can stand the rather gentle pace, value a friendly atmosphere and are happy to pitch in, give someone a whisper to have a chat, or answer here.   The Dragon’s Eye gazes upon you now child (or something like that).Dorvan13 03 Jun
03 Jun Oldtimer returning? So as the topic says. Been away from WoW for about 3-4 years now and left this server before WoTLK. Feeling it might be time to return here and give it a try again. I know much has changed in the years but still. Is there room for an old RP'er to come back?Aeldian2 03 Jun
27 May LF Challenge Warlords: Gold Guild Edition Hi folks, As a pet hunter (825 unique pets so far!), I'm looking for a guild to join in order to get the [Deathwatch Hatchling] pet from the guild vendor. This requires the guild to have completed the above achievement - Challenge Warlords: Gold Guild Edition. Ideally this would be a Horde guild, but I can manage Alliance too. Anyone able to help?Landerolin0 27 May

22 May [H-RP] Sin'alah Who to contact ingame Luinias-TheSha'tar Vaindi-TheSha'tar Ah, the glorious, magnificent city of the children of the blood - Silvermoon. Its impressive architecture goes beyond ones imagination... But it is far from done. Even as the years have passed, the city is still merely a shadow of what it once was. That is why we need you. Are you perhaps one of the Sin'dorei, or do you rather not have nothing to do with your kin them, due to their ways and customs? Perhaps they mesmerize you, and you have watched them from afar, being impressed, but are afraid to admit it? Fear not. Silvermoon City will take you in, without any judgement. However, if you should fail to abide by the city's laws, there will be consequences. The city's leader is Reagent Lord Lor'Themar Theron, assisted by Grand Magister Rommath and Halduron Brightwing. But, as of recent, the Matriarch of the Blood Knight Order, Lady Liadrin, has also come to offer her guidance to everyone within the city. She has assigned Lady Luinias Bloodspear, Knight Lady of the Order, to gather capable members of the Sin'dorei that wish to help them to restore their beloved city. She also works as an ambassador, offering a helping hand in return. Give and take, as it should be, presenting an equivalent exchange. Sin'alah is a branch of the Blood Knight Order, and their task is not really for those that prefers the comfort of the city. What they do, is to follow up on leads and rumors about items, that will help the city in its restoration. However, this is not always the most safest or easiest task, and there will be danger, but also great rewards. --------------------------------------------------------------- As you walk the streets of Silvermoon, you spot a rather eye-catching poster. Deciding to take a close look, you see that it is a recruitment message, posted by Sin'ala, a part of the Blood Knight Order. Their location is Hall of Blood, right across the Farstrider's Square. Curious, and a bit infatuated, you make your way to the Hall. As you enter, the Knights' eyes you with keen interest, making you feel a little nervous. A tall, slender, yet muscular woman with scarlet hair, that is held up by an adorned piece of jewelry, offers you a smile. "Are you here for an interview, young one?" She asks, placing a hand on her hip, and the other on her spear, that is leaned against the wall. Her eyes glows with a burning passion as she returns to look you over. "My name is Luinias Bloodspear, and I will conduct the interview. Please, do make yourself at home." The voice is gentle and calm as she starts to speak with you, smiling every now and then, nodding and gesturing around the hall. You nod nervously and bites your lip, saluting her, when asked to, with deep respect, before fiddling with a trinket of yours. This is rather nerv-wrecking, isn't it? Her scarlet locks lightly follows her moves as she gives you another a nod, and a reassuring grin. "What do you think? Would you make a worthy adept to take into our ranks?" OOC Info Blood Elf Blood Knight and Blood Elf Support Staff (All classes except Warlocks and Death Knights, unless they are other classes ICly) RP guild that works to protect the people of Silvermoon. Feel free to toss anyone of us a whisper if you are interested in joining. ^_^ Also works on fighthing against the Scourge. Have strong connections with The Argent Dawn and The Argent Crusade. We'd like to team up with other guilds for events and such. We don't bite! Hard. ;')Luinias32 22 May
21 May <Metanoia> - Ravencrest. Looking for serious raiders <Metanoia> - Ravencrest - Alliance Introduction We are a group of older players who enjoy the game the most when we are pushing hard for Mythic boss kills whilst they are still relevant, unfortunately, we have been unable to find a guild that matches those ambitions/raids at the times we are able to raid. The Plan The aim is to have a solid roster of 20+ players who all want to get cutting edge pre-nerf in a drama free environment, and understand what is required in raids and outside to achieve that. Requirements • Age 18+ (will be reviewed case by case if not met) • Able to raid Weds/Thurs/Mon 22:00-01:00 (server-time) • 100% attendance barring unforeseen circumstances or reasonable notice. • Able to speak English and have a working mic you can use • Always prepared for raids, food/flask/pots/runes • Able to take constructive criticism and feedback. • Preferably have provable experience in raiding at a high end (will be reviewed case by case) • Able to commit the time required to min/max (and expect the same of others) • In depth knowledge of class and upcoming changes. • Able to read/watch/listen to raid tactics and have a thorough understanding of the boss and mechanics before stepping into any raid. • The mindset that loot is a means to an end and the “teams” progress > personal logs. • Mechanically strong The mentality of the guild may seem strict but this is because we would prefer not to have our or your time wasted if you are not prepared to commit. (if you do not meet 1 of the requirements then still feel free to submit an application form, if you are not prepared to meet 1 of the requirements then this is likely not the place for you) Classes/Roles Required Currently, we are in need of 3 Healers (preferably not shaman mains), and Ranged + Melee DPS. It is possible we have a tank spot open for outstanding candidates. What we will offer you A serious, drama-free raiding environment, with players that will commit to putting in the required time and effort. • Cutting Edge on every raid, anything less is failure • Eventually, raiding flasks/pots/feasts • Committed, consistent, and experienced leadership • High standards expected of everyone equally, no exceptions. • Researched and prepared raid leading If this is of interest to you and you want to apply visit: If you would like some more information, add mellowz#2407, zime#21104, entail#2216, AuQia#2343, InSAne#23753Pollitburo1 21 May
20 May Seeking elf friends and advice! This is my first blood elf, I've been playing this game for 8 years, never once made a sindorei. I'm a little bit clueless on the lore, I'm reading my way through Wowpedia's farstrider page, and Halduron and Lor'themar, but I'm a slow reader. So I was wondering if there were any things that an Elf HAS to know, just cannot go without knowing? And some general advice! I am also seeking friends for my Elf, I'm intent on joining Beastmaw, so I will likely make friends there, I hope, but hopefully my elf can make friends elsewhere too. So feel free to hit me up for RP... Please!Taramis2 20 May
