So You Want To Learn To Raid?

General
This Is For The Players Who Want To Raid But Cant Because Reasons

If you are someone who wants to try this raiding thing but gets turned off by the vocal minority of Raiders in this game, then this thread is for you.

If you are someone who just wants to raid in a low-pressure group that cares more about killing bosses and having a good time, then this thread is for you.

If you are someone who wants to LEARN to raid without being berated for low dps, low awareness, etc., then this thread is for you.

If you are someone who is afraid to joining something big, I can make a the right raid size just for you, due to the Flexible Raid System (thank you Ion Hazzikosta and Greg Street), Raids scale to any Group Size, then this thread is for you.

Raiding Guide and my Raiding Schedule on Both Factions (Note: if my schedule is unavailable to you, there are ton more to be found on Openraid. A place for Organized Raiding.

This is for beginners, players with disabilities, and anyone else who wants to help people get into raiding and move past LFR.

Food for Thought:

"The more you give, the more you will get back."

"People think about the Past and they throw their power into the Past, but there is no Past. It's gone, when you think about the Past, you think about it in this Moment. This Moment is all there is, and you can be happy in this Moment. When you are, everything is taken care of. All is well."

Both. I said Raids are pending because I'm still leveling up.
Can you remove the underlines it's nauseating to read.

Then don't read it. No one is forcing you to.
Sounds like an interesting project, no idea why you gave out so many shout outs though

Ah. so you want nobody to read your thread then. legit.
Guy puts up thread trying to help, gets lambasted for using underscore.

Welcome to the forums ^^
Plus points to OP for the intent, but not for the execution.

Perhaps what we should be doing instead, is actually making alternative suggestions on how to help those new to raiding, learn how to raid, and where. Openraid isn't an ideal first step when you're new to raiding to start with .. it's just another complication to master.

Most people who are new to WoW, and/or new to raiding, don't know about external sites or just don't want to deal with them .. they're playing the game, they want to be in there, immersed .. not having to sign up, read up and deal with external factors (heck, quite a lot of those less new are the same!).

Perhaps what people who want to "learn 2 raid" should be doing instead, is checking out guilds on their own realms, looking for guilds who are happy to recruit new raiders, who are happy to teach them new skills.

Perhaps what we actually need, is an improved "guild finder" tool in-game, in order to enable and encourage that search ;-)

Thats why I incorporate this into the guilds I'm in. I've been doing this for over a year on US and it's been a success. I did nothing wrong in execution.

You need to stop trolling. If you are upset because I underline what I write for emphasis, you have issues.
I'm interested in this OP. I'll be in touch if ok.

It's not trolling.

Imagine I give you some pages of text, and tell you that the most important things are marked. And then you look at it and there are only a handful of sentences that ain't marked.
That ain't emphasis, as nothing really stands out. It's rather annoying to be honest.

I really do appreciate the idea of helping inexperienced players to get into raiding, but you should work on how to format a text so that it's good to read.

Edit: nearly forgot it

I love how people keep claiming that the community is basically bad, rotten, !@#$ty, whatever...
The community is made out of regular people, of course you can't like everyone, and of course in anonymity people behave worse than they usually would, but I don't think the community is that bad.

It's readable, that's all that matters. It's not a wall of text its just some under-scoring.

You mean like how a guy makes a reasonable post trying to help people get into raiding only to get downvoted and have most of the replies be complaining about a minor formatting issue.

Yes, we have certainly shown that the community here is full of nice and reasonable people...

Which is exactly the point. People can't handle a bit of criticism anymore nowadays ;)

I don't even know what you are posting.

Is this is an advertisement, its an advertisement for a Blizzard-supported website.

Wowhead, MMO-Champion, Openraid are WoW Fan sites, not blizzard sites, but are Bizzard-supported websites.

You shouldn't focus on something so minor as how I choose to edit, if you have a problem with people raiding than say it.

The fact you choose to attack me based on my editing proves you are nothing a miserable forum troll.
