Stormstrike back to physical damage

Battle for Azeroth Items and Classes
Just a bit confused as to why you would change this back? Surely having mastery affect our “best” hardest hitting attack is a great thing and makes the stat far more useful and interesting? I understand it negatively affected windstrike but surely it is a reasonable assumption that this could be altered to nature damage as well; adding some potentially interesting stat options in further into the expansion?

The class discord has already been renamed “enhavocment” due to the predicted direction a number of enhance shamans are heading. This could be something to tempt people back towards it..?
To avoid unfair armour bypass probably.

Fair point however surely there could be some sort of workaround.. just seems a bit off having to stack mastery for wf/SB procs but not increase the damage, just seems potentially limiting.

To alienate any long time Shaman player and prune. What else there is to say? They don't like any of the feedback and how the class should work. But oh boy they love bring us closer to Warriors
