Good to see some kind of buff to Elemental Shaman but the 6 sec cooldown on flame shock has to go in order for the spec to feel somewhat decent. At the very least it would make the spec feel a lot more smooth and functional.

As it stands you cannot target switch in either PvP or PvE.

For example you pull 2 mobs quile questing and you can only flameshock 1 of them. For the mob without flame shock you need to hardcast noodlebolts which have to crit and overload for any meaningful damage. The problem is more obvious if you pull 3 mobs and let's not forget how low secondary stats will be at lvl 120.

In PvP it's even worse because you rely on lava surge procs for most of your damage since hardcasting is very hard to pull off most of the time. Flameshock get's dispelled with no consequences which effectively guts your dps.

Solutions
1) Remove flame shock cooldown

or

2) make it always crit regardless of flameshock, the way it was before it was changed recently.

or

3) Make flameshock last 30 seconds and make lava burst spread it to all targets within 10 yards. Also reduce cooldown to 3 seconds which is a lot more reasonable.

I can safely say that I am not satisfied with how Blizzard has treated Elemental over the years. Elemental was terrible at the beginning of Legion but after some buffs and changes it became a lot better. Instead of using that as a base to introduce further improvements, like removing some of the RNG and improving survivability, Blizzard has made changes that can only be described as moving backwards. (loss of gust of wind, Elemental blast nerfed and competing with echo of the elements, cooldown on flameshock, Ice-fury nerfed, loss of earthgrab totem). I will acknowledge that Earth shield and Nature's Guardian were positive additions but we lost a lot more than we gained overall.

I am curious to see what lies in store for us in 8.1 but I don't see myself playing if the spec remains broken after the supposed rework.
Glad to see you are finally turning your gaze onto shamans and warlocks that need a lot of tuning.

However you guys still have some work to do left. The demonology buff to damage is very nice but I think that our overall casting spells are very bad right now. All of them have a casting time which is very inconvenient to say the least, we also don’t really get any procs to nothing besides -1 shard on hounds, which is still ridiculous, at least make it instant cast to compensate a little on the lack of utility.

Personally, I adore the demonology playstyle as well as affliction tbh, but I want to witness an expansion where they are at least equal if not demonology superior. It is a waste to be able to command an army of demons which hit like a wet noodle. Same is for shamans, they feel like throwing feathers not fire and lightning. Additional tuning must be done before release.

Does anyone there know that you guys have a Feral Spec in wow? or everyone simple forget??? since the start of bfa development no one speaks about feral druid, they dont receive nothing, they are not good or vend decent in single target and they are worst then healers in aoe dmg.... what is this???
why does arcane feel so lackluster compared to the other mage speccs. They really need a fat nuke abillity that makes them stand out. for christ sake it doesn't matter if its pve or pvp you still just have to spam arcane blast in order to do the most damage.

Edit:

Also it seems that the tooltip for clearcasting proc is supposed to make arcane explosion aswell as misiles free to cast, but curently it only makes arcane misiles free.

Arcane Barage doesn't always deal damage aswell especially in AOE situations,
So this is just confirmation that blizzard aren't going to fix the blatant butchering of MM as a hunter spec...

Why the !@#$ do they have to destroy everything people enjoy about their classes? Blizzard devs are actual psychopaths, clearly
Demo 5% Buff ... I say not enough BUUUUT Thanks a whole lot for buffing us :)
