A New Spec for Each class?

General
just hear me out, there's no point in adding a new class, to many out there to maintain already and balance

how about a new specc for each current class? it's very doable imo

Mage > Necromancer ( pet specc )
Warrior > Mercenary ( kinda ranged hybird )
Death Knight > Mounted ( support/Fights on mount )
Rogue > Gunner ( uses two pistols/Two crossbows )
Priest > Inquisitor ( holy-based burst mage DPS )
Shaman > ???????? ( give thoughts! )
Warlock > ???????? ( give thoughts! )
Demon Hunter > ????????? ( give thoughts! )
Druid > No new specc, they have enough.
Paladin > ????????? ( give thoughts! )
Hunter > ????????? ( give thoughts! )
So it's easier to balance 11 new specs, than 3?
no, new classes pls, not new specs. ty
I'm gonna say no just for the crime of your title being all in capital letters.
Ranged warrior lol.

Ranged warrior lol.

I'd prefer a polearm using warrior, with extended melee range and a couple displacement attacks for them to jump off of platforms and die
As cool as it is for new specs, current game needs development on its current specs before we have new additions to the game. I legit have points in the game where i can actually tab out due to GCD or no energy as an example.

Lets not steal from ff dragoons now
Ranged rogue would be great. We seriously need one handed guns and crossbows.

But consider this:
Lets steal from ff dragoons instead.

And while we at it gimme my tinker class, I'd even agree to the overheat-wildfire mechanic.
I don't think adding new specs, especially ones that aren't using the removed abilities (that Blizzard obviously want to keep because they keep re-adding them), is going to solve the inherent problems with this game's Class/Spec system. Or more specifically, the developer's Class/Spec system because other games have made it work just fine. To replace it would remove another facet of what makes WoW WoW, or so I believe anyway.

I like the sound of your ideas OP, but there's nothing there to say that this will make the game better. What abilities does each spec have? What are the advantages and disadvantages? If that's too much to type, then think how much work it'd take to put into the game.

I'll provide a meagre contribution to the thread by giving some suggestions for your Paladin and Hunter specs. The Paladin would have the Inquisitor, a torturer that uses Fire and Holy damage to debuff foes and drain resources rather than focus on killing them faster. Their resource is Sadomasochism, and by taking either self-inflicted cauterising damage, damage from enemies or dealing damage, they gain this resource. By capping they become exhausted, which causes it to drop to zero, so it's vital the resource is spent before capping. Abilities could include Knee Splitter, reducing move speed, causes bleed damage and increasing Sadomasochism the longer the target is alive. Ashen Mouth could prevent mages from casting spells for a short time. The Catcus Fruit of Anguish--, OK, that's enough. Even so, I don't see a lot of Sunwalkers or Draenei resorting to such measures (then again, the Light is the absolute embodiment of Order....)

As for the Hunter I'd want something that's more like a military role, but that sort of already exists with MM. A sniper with more emphasis on camo, or a siege specialist. I'm not quite sure to be honest. Sorry I couldn't get quite as creative.
Paladin - Light Archer
Death Knight - Blood Mage
Mage - Enchanter (melee)
Warior - Blademaster
Shaman - Zappy Boy
Hunter - Dark Ranger
I dont care. No.
The classes suck, blizz showed time to time they can only break the working mechanics rather adding to them.
one more or two or three or unlimited specs won't fix their logic. This is the level they can work on, that's it. Don't expect better amymore from Blizz.

Dunno whacha tallkin' bout. I like all the classes I play.
There is a lot of concepts everywhere for a tank spec to Shaman that uses earth and stone to negate damage. Fits perfect in lore and would make Shamans available to all roles, and just sounds super cool.

Shaman - Zappy Boy

Elemental is already Zappy Boyish.

Would prefer full blown lightning sorcerer over this strange mix of elements
I agree that an extra specc would be a nice thing to add but the suggestions you made are beyond stupid. lol
