8.1 Spoilers: Lost Honor cinematic

I'm just sick and tired of the Horde going through the same story line, it has to find itself every second month. It's boring. It's stale. And all it does is deplete the character pool and Blizzard aren't quick at regenerating that.

So to be clear, even before being captured, Saurfang let Anduin live in the hope that he would kill Sylvanas because...he wouldn't? Couldn't?

If he could allow for Sylvanas to fall that day and salvage "his Horde" in doing so, why would he ever want to challenge her in person? He played two foes against each other and banked on one killing the other.

So to be clear:

Saving your Warchief from death by axing Malfurion in the back=dishonourable
Sneakily letting the Alliance High King win to try to kill your Warchief=honourable.

Are you sure Saurfang's blood doesn't run blue?

[grunts honourably] there is no honour in this

Oh I agree, it's super machiavellian.

See the above.
Amazing, they made me hate Saurfang almost as much as I hate Sylvanas.

Seriously, what was the point of the "Old Soldier" cinematic? What was the point of giving Saurfang a moment where he pulls himself up to fight for an honorable horde, only that short while later he will legit GIVE UP, so an ALLIANCE can do the dirty work for him? And where's the honour in that?!

Seriously, I'll love nothing more than to see Sylvanas getting dethroned, I am so sick of the Horde keeping on this crappy villain ball, but doing it like this?! Seriously?!

I just want us to get rid of Sylvanas ASAP (it's inevitable at this point either way, let's just get it over with) so we can move on to something actually original.

Or as close to original as WoW can muster.
Can't really call it escaping when the guy holding you prisoner leaves the door open.

The Horde vs the Horde vs the Alliance story is very zzz.

It's made worse by Alliance funding that side of the Horde to consume itself.

That's why we have The Horde vs Sylvanas vs the Alliance instead!

It's the Horde vs the Horde vs the Alliance.

The Forsaken are not part of my Horde.
But as you can see on the US and EU storyboard section it's not purely Forsaken players. In fact, I don't see many people other than Alliance gamers for it. Oh, and if you really hate Sylvanas.
It sort of feels like from every announcement, Blizz is going 'Ha, you thought YOUR race/faction had bad storytelling? Wait until you see us NOW!'

I was going to say I'm glad to be Alliance, but I'm not really here, either. Will they just pull a second 'Sylvanas did it all along' with 'SoO 2.0 was our plan all along!'?

Seriously hoping the deep dives and stuff will somewhat save this Blizzcon.

I wish for a faction war expansion...
Make an animated movie already Blizzard, you know we all want it.

Also, epic as always, love Anduin and Saurfang.

The monkey is so mad about it he's literally a boss in the next raid, too.
I loved it. You see Saurfang's grief over what the Horde he loves has become. But it is also obvious that he never begged Anduin to fight Sylvanas for him. Saurfang, as popular as he is, is just one orc. He couldn't turn the Horde on Sylvanas, so he spared Anduin so he'd do the deed for him. An army has a better chance of succeeding than a lone soldier. Saurfang is clearly distressed and overcome with what has happened, and that is a VERY REAL thing with real life soldiers. It's touching.
Can‘t wait for the 8.2 preview showing old gods and the black empire. At this point all the fuss will be nullified because we‘ll be best pals with the enemy faction again.
I liked the cinematic.
And maybe Sylvanas will have to answer for her sociopathy, who knows?

Well if this does turn into Mark Of Zandaria: Raid of Orgimmar 2 Electric Boogaloo, hope the Horde are happy with a traitor and alliance dupe as their 'Warchief'.

Maybe we need to drop the A and add a Hoe to Warchief, because Saurfangs honour dropped itself and spread it for the Alliance King.

"If"?

This cinematic pretty much confirmed it.

Get ready, boys. If you liked Sylvanas and/or hoped for a good story (Blizzard: "Haha, gotcha good there!"), you're out of luck.

Let's just hope she at least has the decency to drop a good mount.
