Wow crashes randomly - Windows 7

Technical Support

How do i fix my computer, so it doesn't shut down 3 times a day.

When playing Wow, my computer crashes about 3 times a day or more. It's completely random. No other application or game (league of legends, smite, etc) shut's down my computer. Only wow.
There is one exeption to this. One time, when trying to enter a dungeon, my wow kept shutting down my computer. Everytime i would try to log into that wow char, it would shut my computer down. I had to log into another char first, then the problem ceased.

What i have tried so far:
1. All drivers are up to date.
2. Removing my HDD in my computer.
3. Removed Chache + Data/Chache + All my addons. -> I then repaired my game.
4. Run 3DMark with no problem.
5. Run PerformanceTest. The computer shut down when going from a processor test to a Directx 9 Test.
6. Went to Dxdiag on my computer, didn't see any problem.
7. Followed another guide "Wow crashes randomly" - were i was told to remove ambient sound. Which i have.
8. Used Seagate "Seatool for windows" to check my HDD. They were fine. I use a new SSD my computer, and using Intel SSD toolbox's Diagnostic -> I find no errors.

1. I have saved another Error Log that said #132. The picture will dissapear after a year.
2. I looked for "SET gxMultisample" on C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\WTF - Config file. Couldn't find that line of code at all.
3. As i have a Nvidia graphic card, i tried following this players idea. For me, it didn't work. Wow still keeps crashing.

5. Run PerformanceTest. The computer shut down when going from a processor test to a Directx 9 Test.

If I'm reading your description correctly, this would indicate the same problem happens outside of World of Warcraft?

Can you reproduce the shutdowns by repeatedly running the performance test?

Please provide feedback! -

I have now done Performance test serveral times. At Directx 9 test, the computer is close to crashing, but doesn't. It simply freezes. The freezing is similar like when it shuts down the computer when playing wow, except the shutting down part.

Can you reproduce the shutdowns by repeatedly running the performance test?
Answer: No
Hello, sorry to add to a dead post.
But I have the same problem, tried every fix from other forum posts.

My pc crashes randomly when playing wow. Sometimes I can play for 5 mins other times for an hour or more.
I don't understand why it is crashing as I can run other more graphically intensive games no problem, it just seems to be wow.

If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.
Locking this as it's from 2013.

Chongji can you please create your own thread, and please let us know all relevant info related to the issue.

Such as if there's an error message, and also please try to include a DxDiag report:

Let me know how I'm doing!
