Diablo II: Resurrected Performance Issues

Slow and choppy gameplay can have a variety of causes. You can use in game chat command: /FPS to check your latency and FPS. If your FPS is low or latency really high this can help direct your troubleshooting. Make sure to follow our connection troubleshooting Here.  

Note: Make sure your computer meets the Diablo II: Resurrected System Requirements before following the steps below.

1. Update your drivers and operating system to resolve any compatibility issues.
2. Changes to the software settings on your video card drivers may cause crashes or performance issues. Reset your video driver settings to correct this problem.
3. Reset your in-game options to resolve crashing and performance problems.
4. If you're playing on a laptop, optimize your power management settings and graphics options for gaming.
5. Close all other applications to resolve software conflicts and free up resources.
6. Overheating can cause performance issues, game crashes, and full computer lockups. Check for overheating components.
