Common Problems
- I get an error when adding a friend in WoW
- I used to be friends with this person but now it says "Character not Found"
You will receive "Character Not Found" when a character with the name you are typing in does not exist in your realm.
This will typically happen if:
- You are entering your friend's name incorrectly
- Your friend belongs to the opposite faction
- Your friend deleted the character
- Your friend is in another realm
You cannot be friends with characters on other realms, but you can be BattleTag friends and play together in cross-realm party.
