Appear Offline for Battle.net Friends

Common Problems
- How can I play without my friends seeing me online?
- I can see my friends online but they all see me offline
- My friends can only see me online in World of Warcraft but not in Battle.net
The Appear Offline feature will show you as offline to everyone in your Battle.net friends list both in the Battle.net app and in-game. Gameplay and game-specific features such as matchmaking are unaffected while you are appearing offline. Note that in the case of World of Warcraft, you will still appear online as your character in-game.
While appearing offline you can still send and receive messages in the app, but it is up to you when you want to respond.
If your friends see you as offline while you are logged in make sure you didn't accidentally select to Appear Offline. On the app, click the drop-down menu on your Avatar and change your status back to Online.
