I am trying to play my boyfriend in Hearthstone, and we are both in the main menu, but it won't give us the option to challenge each other.
When challenging a friend, both friends must be in the same region and have the same version of the game. We recommend closing the game to check for updates and then logging back in to the correct region. You must also be in the main menu. If one of you is in the main menu, and the other is hanging in out in Battlegrounds, for example, a challenge cannot be issued.
