Common Problems
- Can't play WoW on 32-bit Windows.
- 32-bit client won't launch.
World of Warcraft does not support 32-bit operating systems. To continue playing, you need to upgrade to a 64-bit operating system.
Windows Users
The minimum required operating system for World of Warcraft is the 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows 7. If your operating system does not meet this requirement, you need to purchase a newer version of Windows. Visit Microsoft's Windows 10 Upgrade FAQ for more information.
Mac Users
64-bit support for macOS was introduced in OS X 10.4. If you're running a version of macOS newer than 10.4, you do not need to upgrade.
