Common Problems
- It says my C: drive is full and I can't install the game
- It won't let me change the install location
- Not enough disk space when installing the game
Insufficient Disk Space errors happen either when a hard drive runs low on space, or when the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop Application is unable to read the hard drive due to a permission error. Try the following steps to resolve this error.
- Free up disk space on the hard drive that you are installing the application to.
- The Desktop Application may have trouble writing to an external hard drive. Install games to an internal hard drive.
-
Configure your security software's exception list to allow Blizzard applications to run.
-
Try creating a new administrator account to resolve permissions issues.
- A corrupted Spotlight Index may not show the correct amount of disk space remaining. Rebuild your spotlight index.
