Creating a PTR Account

- Error: "This account can't be created"
- Error: "Please contact Customer Support to update this information."
- Error: "You have reached the maximum number of allowed accounts."
The Public Test Realm (PTR) is a special service you can use to test game updates before we release them to the public.
World of Warcraft
To create a WoW PTR account your World of Warcraft account must be Active (must have game-time). You can create your PTR account by visiting your Games & Subscription page.
Once created, you can access the PTR from the Battle.net Desktop App through the Game Version drop down.
If you receive an error when creating your account, contact us.
All other games
If you have a standard game account, you automatically also have a PTR account.
