Antivirus and firewall software play an important role in computer security. However, these applications may occasionally prevent Blizzard software from running, installing, or patching correctly. To prevent this from happening, we encourage you to regularly update your security software and configure your Security software’s Exception List to allow Blizzard applications to run. If you don't know how to do this, please refer to your security software manual for instructions.
