Common Problems
We silence your account if you are reported multiple times for Spam or Abusive Chat. The severity of this penalty increases each time we apply it to your account. Chat and voice silences accumulate separately.
The following list describes what you can and can't do while silenced. For more information, visit our Account Silenced article.

You will see the remaining duration of your silence when you log in to the game, and a portrait icon shows your silenced status to other players.
If the silence occurs while you're in a match, you'll be logged out after it ends. You will still receive XP, gold, and ranked points earned during the match.
Note: If you were silenced and want to appeal the decision, submit a ticket.
