Common Problems
- I disconnected before handing the quest in and now I am in a different phase
- I lost the shadow phase from the quest
- I can't turn in this quest, the NPC isn't there in the shadow realm
To complete this quest, you must defeat any Dark Rider of Acherus. When the rider has been killed, the horse will be available for you to ride. Mount the horse and take it back to the Death's Breach area on the map. While mounted, you will have an extra action bar with a button that will call Salanar the Horseman to you. This version of Salanar does not accept the quest turn in.
Once the phased version of Salanar appears and completes some dialogue, you will no longer be in the shadow realm and can return to the original quest giver to turn in the quest.
If you were in the shadow realm but left it, you can talk to Salanar the Horseman in the normal version of the zone to acquire the shadow realm phase again.
