Configuring the Game for Your TV
Diablo III
Run the game in Windowed Mode:
- Click Start. (In Windows 8, press Windows Key + Q.)
- Click Documents or My Documents. (In Windows 8, type documents and press Enter.)
- Open the Diablo III folder.
- Open the D3Prefs.txt file in a text editor (like Notepad).
- Locate the line DisplayModeWindowMode "0".
- Change the number value to 1.
- Press Ctrl + S to save the file.
- Close the file.
If the issue persists, set the game resolution to match your desktop resolution:
- Click Start. (In Windows 8, press Windows Key + Q.)
- Click Documents or My Documents. (In Windows 8, type documents and press Enter.)
- Open the Diablo III folder.

- Open the WTF folder.
- Open the config.wtf file in a text editor (like Notepad).
- Locate the line SET gxWindow "0".
- Change the number value to 1.
- Press Ctrl + S to save the file.
- Close the file.
If the issue persists, set the game resolution to match your desktop resolution:
