  • Move the computer closer to the wireless modem/router, and make sure there's nothing blocking the signal (like walls or large appliances).

  • Work with your ISP to help determine your best course for increased signal strength and transmission of data.

Dial-Up

This network type cannot provide the expected service of a broadband connection.

This network type may provide the high bandwidth access and speed you want without the concerns satellite and dial-up connections experience. These networks support access as shared wireless broadband connections that tend to be a little slower than normal. For more information, contact a local provider for your area.

In numerous schools, offices, hotels, and businesses, you may find a wide range of public access. Depending on the location or established network administration, you may have limited access for game play.
