The Battle.net Shop is the place for players looking to purchase digital goods and services. Players can also use the Battle.net Shop to gift Blizzard games, in-game items, or game time to their friends.
Items available in the shop include:
- Blizzard games and expansions (World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, and Diablo III)
- Game time and subscriptions
- In-game items
- Character services
- Guild services
Note: Gifting is not available for Battle.net Balance, World of Warcraft character services, guild services, subscriptions, or the Guardian Cub pet.
To gift an eligible item to a friend, click Gift instead of Buy Now on the item’s shop page. When you check out, you will be prompted to enter your friend’s email address. We’ll send a claimable key code to that email address, and you’ll receive a purchase receipt at your registered Battle.net email address.
Note: Direct Debit is not an available payment method for gifting. If you want to use Direct Debit to sent your friend a gift, you can load up Battle.net Balance and use that as payment, instead.
Your friend must have a Battle.net account to claim a game key. If you gift them a World of Warcraft pet, mount, item, or game time, they must have a World of Warcraft license in good standing (not banned or suspended) attached to their Battle.net account.
I made a mistake when I entered my friend’s email.
If you made a mistake while gifting through the shop, you can find the code generated for the purchase on your Order History page. You can copy this code and send it to your friend manually.
