Claiming a Battle.net® Gift Card

Keywords: Battle.net, Battle.net Balance, Balance, Funds, Card, activation, money, Posa

Battle.net® Gift Cards add Battle.net Balance funds to your account, which you can use to purchase items and services in-game or from the Battle.net Shop, including World of Warcraft® game time.

Battle.net Balance cannot be used to purchase recurring World of Warcraft subscriptions, physical goods from the Blizzard Gear Store, or card packs in Hearthstone™ on mobile devices. If you want to use Balance to buy Hearthstone cards, make your purchase on the PC or Mac® version—your new packs will appear in the tablet version, as well.

Gift Card codes are valid for one year from the date of purchase. You do not need a Battle.net Authenticator on your account to use a Battle.net Gift Card.

Note: Gift cards will not work across regions—for example, European cards will not work for players in North America. You can tell which region a card is for by the currency displayed on the front.

Battle.net Gift Cards are available from the following select retailers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
