You may notice that some players' posts in our community forums appear in a unique green tint. These players carry an official recognition as Most Valuable Posters, or MVPs for short. We wanted to take a moment to explain this distinction.
MVPs are regular players who have a history of promoting open, meaningful discussion on the message boards, and who bring a positive influence to the forums with their constructive contributions. We see these players as pillars of our community, and we provide them with support from our community managers and support-forum representatives.
When you see the green text of an MVP post, you can expect that they are providing answers and useful information. MVPs post on a variety of topics and may show up anywhere on our message boards. They are a particularly common sight in our Customer Support forums.
While they are not employed by Blizzard, MVPs are endorsed by Blizzard based on their excellent post records. That said, the opinions MVPs express in their posts remain their own and should not be construed as official Blizzard statements.
There is no formal application process to become an MVP. If you are interested in this program, you must build a reputation for yourself centered on excellent replies and a helpful attitude. Post actively on our forums, always be positive and respectful, and observe our Forum Code of Conduct. With time, you may find yourself selected!
