For World of Warcraft and the most recent expansion, you can see your Death Count by going to Achievements in your onscreen menu (or use default hot key Y). Click on Statistics > Deaths. Total deaths for your character are listed at the top of the screen.
Currently, there is no feature which allows you to check your Death Count in Classic World of Warcraft. Customer Support does not provide this information to players.
If you would like to suggest that this feature be added to World of Warcraft or Classic World of Warcraft, submit a suggestion from the in-game Help menu.
