Didn't Receive Correct Amount of Trader's Tender

Common Problems

  • Got the wrong amount of Trader's Tender this month.
  • I have a subscription but didn't get any Trader's Tender.
  • There's no currency in my Trading Post chest at the start of the month.
  • I have upgraded my The War Within edition to Epic, but received only 250 Tender.

There are currently no known issues with the Trader's Tender currency, but some of the following scenarios may explain why you received less Tender than expected:

  • Already earned on another account: All grants of Trader’s Tender are shared across all World of Warcraft accounts within the same region on a single Battle.net account.
  • Region-Specific: Trader’s Tender is unique to each region.
  • Monthly Earnings: Generally you can earn 1,000 Trader’s Tender per month per Battle.net and region. Occasionally, additional Tender may be available; check our news for updates.
  • One-Time Bonuses: Owning a game expansion (see the chart below) or completing the questline introducing the Trading Post, can unlock a one time bonus of additional Tender.
  • Collection: All earned Trader’s Tender must be collected from the Collector’s Cache chest in the Trading Post area. If you haven’t collected your Tender from the Cache, it will remain there until you log in.

How to review your Trader's Tender History

  1. Access your Transaction History.
  2. Go to the Virtual Wallet.
  3. Click on World of Warcraft.
  4. Review your history for your Trader's Tender. (Click Load More to see more results)
