Common Problems
- The Lich King isn't here
- Ragnaros isn't spawning for my Firelands run
- I killed Cho'gall and the floor isn't breaking to open Sinestra
- The door to Ra-den isn't opening
On Heroic difficulty, the final boss Icecrown Citadel and the Firelands (as well as any hidden boss) will not spawn unless all prior bosses in the raid have been defeated on Heroic difficulty.
Killing any prior boss on Normal and then switching to Heroic will cause the final or hidden boss to not spawn. If this happens, your raid lockout cannot be reset - you'll need to kill the end boss on Normal difficulty, and try again next week for any hidden bosses.
Note that raid difficulty cannot be switched inside the instance, so you'll want to double-check you have your raid size and difficulty settings correct before you zone in.
This affects the following bosses:
- Lich King
- Sinestra
- Ragnaros (Firelands)
- Ra-den (Throne of Thunder)
