Common Problems
- I had High Society Top Hat before, but now I can't find it.
- I don't have old character starter equipment anymore, but I want to add it to my collection.
You can use our Item Restoration page to restore sold, or destroyed items. You will receive the restored items in your character’s mailbox.
Items that you cannot restore with the item restoration service are permanently lost. Customer Support will not restore World of Warcraft items.
Many items can be re-obtained either through vendors, professions, world drop, the auction house, or quests. For example, former new character starter equipment can be purchased from vendors relevant to your armor type in Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Check Wowhead for details of specific items.
