Common Problems

  • My WoW account was silenced.
  • I can't use most chat channels.
  • How can I appeal a silence?

We silence your account if you are reported multiple times for Spam or Abusive Chat. The duration of your silence doubles each time we apply it to your account. There is no maximum limit to the silence duration.

The following list describes what you can and can't do while silenced. For more information, visit our Account Silenced article.
