Garrison Not Explored on Map After Faction Change

Some characters who faction change are affected by an issue where they are not able to reveal their garrison on their zone map through normal game play. This prevents the character from getting the achievement Explore Frostfire Ridge or Explore Shadowmoon Valley.

To resolve this yourself, find a friend who has an active garrison that they were able to discover, and ask them to invite your character to a group. Once they have invited you to the group and they are the group leader, go to your faction's garrison and explore the area to fix the issue.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, try the same thing again with a new group, but this time ask the player to log out of their character, without passing lead to you, before you enter the garrison and explore.
