For specific instructions on retrieving game logs, select your operating system and the game for which you need error logs.
World of Warcraft
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app, click the World of Warcraft icon on the left, and select Show in Explorer from the Options menu.
- In the _retail_ or _classic_ folder inside of the World of Warcraft folder, find the Errors folder. If it does not exist, you do not have any error reports.
- If the Errors folder exists, copy the newest .txt error report to your desktop. The error report creation date is included in the file name.
Overwatch
- Open your Documents folder. This folder is typically accessed in the Start menu.
- Open the Overwatch folder.
- Open the Logs folder.
- Open the Errors folder.
- Find the latest Overwatch.txt file. This is your error report.
Diablo III
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app, click the Diablo III icon on the left, and select Show in Explorer from the Options menu.
- Inside the Diablo III folder, open the InspectorReporter > Reported Bugs folder.
- You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will have a crash log inside.
- Open the newest folder and find the D3Debug.txt file. This is your error report.
StarCraft II
- Open your Documents folder. This folder is typically accessed in the Start menu.
- Open the StarCraft II folder.
- Open the GameLogs folder. You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will contain a crash log.
- Open the newest folder and find the Error.txt file. This is your error report.
StarCraft Remastered
- Press Windows Key+R to open the Run dialogue.
- Type %localappdata%\Temp into the Run field and press Enter.
- Find the BlizzardError folder.
- Upload the most recent .Txt file.
Hearthstone
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app, click the Hearthstone icon on the left, and select Show in Explorer from the Options menu.
- In the Hearthstone folder, find the Output_log.txt and ConnectLog.txt files. These are your error reports.
Heroes of the Storm
- Open your Documents folder. This folder is typically accessed in the Start menu.
- Open the Heroes of the Storm folder.
- Open the GameLogs folder. You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will contain a crash log.
- Open the newest folder and find the Error.txt file. This is your error report.
Overwatch Voice Chat
- Open your Documents folder via the Start menu
- Open the Overwatch folder
- Open the Logs folder
- Locate Overwatch.log, this is your voice chat log
World of Warcraft
- Navigate to Macintosh HD/Applications/World of Warcraft/.
- In the _retail_ or _classic_ folder inside of the World of Warcraft folder, find the Errors folder. If it does not exist, you do not have any error reports.
- Attach the most recent file.
Diablo III
- Navigate to /Applications/Diablo III/InspectorReporter/ReportedBugs.
- You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will have a crash log inside.
- Open the newest folder and locate the file marked D3Debug.txt. This is your error report.
Starcraft II
- Open Finder.
- Hold the Option (Alt) key and select Library from the Go menu on the system menu bar.
- Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/Starcraft II/Gamelogs.
- You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will have a crash log inside.
- Open the newest folder and locate the Error.txt file. This is your error report.
StarCraft Remastered
- Open Finder.

- Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/Starcraft/Errors
- Each error is date stamped. Upload the most recent .txt file.
Hearthstone
- Open Finder.

- Navigate to Logs/Unity/
- Find the Player.log file. This is your error report.
Heroes of the Storm
- Open Finder.
- Hold the Option (Alt) key and select Library from the Go menu on the system menu bar.
- Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/Heroes of the Storm/Gamelogs.
- You may see many folders that are date stamped. Each one will have a crash log inside.
- Open the newest folder and locate the Error.txt file. This is your error report.
