Common Problems
- Can only socket a Gem into an item when the item is equipped
- Trying to put a gem into my item but I'm getting the message "You can't do that right now"
- I try to socket my gem and it says "You can't do that yet" or "I can't do that yet"
Some World of Warcraft addons may affect key bindings and user interface, preventing gems from being socketed. To address this, reset your key bindings to default in the game's settings.
If you are getting the error "You can't do that right now" when attempting to put a gem into a socket, make sure the item you are trying to add a gem to is equipped.
