- Can you still specialize in a Blacksmithing trade?
- I am not getting the option to pick a specialty in Classic WOW.
MODERN WOW
Classic Blacksmithing specializations, Armorsmith and Weaponsmith, were removed in patch 4.0.1.
Note: This applies to Classic specializations only. Dragonflight profession specializations available in the game and can be picked based on your skill level.
WOW CLASSIC
Once your character has reached level 40 and has a Blacksmithing skill of 200, you can speak to Krathok Moltenfist at the Valley of Honor (Horde) or Myolor Sunderfury in Ironforge (Alliance) to pick specialisation and receive further instructions. Based on chosen specialisation you will be able to start:- The Way of the Weaponsmith quest from Borgosh Corebender (Horde) or Ironus Coldsteel (Alliance)
- The Art of the Armorsmith quest from Okothos Ironrager (Horde) or Grumnus Steelshaper (Alliance)
