Common Problems
- My pet's ability bar is missing.
- I'm unable to see the Freeze skill for my Water Elemental any longer.
- I got an in-game message saying I learned Freeze for my pet but I didn't actually learn it.
If you find yourself without your pet action bar or you are missing spells from your pet action bar the following steps can help you address these issues:
The Pet Action Bar is missing

Reset your user interface to make sure your files and addons are not corrupted.
- Type the following command in wow to force the pet action bar to show:
- /script PetActionBarFrame:Show();
- Modern WoW: Enter edit mode, and ensure the pet action bar is not hidden. Alternatively, you can reset your current settings to their defaults
Spells are missing from the pet action bar
- Summon your pet, then open your spell book. Swap to the pet tab, then drag the spell you wish to use onto your pet's action bar
- If you do not have spells, you may need to learn the spells for your pet. There are great guides for Hunter and Warlocks online if you need further help learning how to do this.
